In Hindsight Selene, when API dies like it has it really shuts down half of the poker website. So there may be a thought to have an emergency ring banker situation.

Luckioly unscheduled API downtime is rare. If you know a patchday is coming and you want to play ring, then prestock your account =D Otherwise, there are always DTs available. This is yet another reason why I don't do tournaments with ring chips.

Personally i prefer the games. Not sure if its that i actually make money there (always lose the chips i win in the rings) or the goofball things players say.
In Addition, i think the new bankers are bored with banking already...

Its about 10min unless you forgot your player ID in the reason. In which case you have to wait til it is manually cleared. Also with API being down this weekend i'd suggest getting chips in now to whomever reads this as i dont think Selene will have emergency ring bankers

Hello,
Have recently started playing and am pretty crap at poker, but enjoy the game. I find it especially good for killing time when im just sitting in a station, etc. So far have been very impressed by the game / service.
My only gripe is that there needs to be more newbie tables. From what I can see there is only 1 and it has 3 seats which means there is always a queue to get on it.

it used to be a 9 seat table, but was reduced so players do not live in it. So I unfortunately dont see it changing back any time soon. Besides the real game is not having a limit to bet. Being able to go all in to bluff is one of the best things in poker.

Yes, the special 3-seat newbie table is for learning only. If you can't afford the 10-30m buyins for low stakes, you probably should be focusing on exploring EVE instead of playing poker =)

Come check out the new ring tables! We've added:
1x Micro stakes 1/2 Blinds, 100max table.
2x 10/20 Blind, 2000 max tables to bridge the gap between 5/10 and 25/50. (My personal favorite)
We also changed 2 of the 2/4 tables from 300 max to 400 max, to be more in line with the 100BB max buyin standard.
