If the only way to give the buyer access to the titan was to "launch" it out of the POS shields instead of controlling the access with the password then you could talk about great scam here. In this case the bouncing is unintended effect in terms of operating the device and taking advantage of it could be seen as exploit without spelling it out. The GM decision put it in writing.
DMC lose for being a cry baby and XIX lose for thinking they're the new BoB and could get away with it.

That is something new from RA members. A shame, because I always thought that RA were something better. Disappointing to discover that they whine like everyone else 
I just hope that this was a single (unimportant) voice and is not the general trend.
Where did they whine when they faced overwhelming odds and had almost no chance to survive? They didn't whine - THEY FOUGHT! They fought and survived against all odds, without any whinage. And THAT was impressive.

The GM's have no business interfering in the game, whatsoever. That has been a major problem in MMOs in the past and will be in the future. As soon as people figure this out, drama like this will cease to occur. GMs should not move people unless they are unable to move themselves. GMs should not act as "neutral" mediators in cases such as this.
A GM interfering and returning a titan in a case such as this is absolutely ******* ridiculous. Where do I send the application for a pet gm?

From what I'm reading it had nothing to do with POS mechanics (ie the shield not allowing the ship in). If it was freshly launched it should have had no corp attached and so no matter the password or POS setting it should have remained in the POS. I'm gathering that when it was physically jettisoned it chose to jettison 'ontop' of an existing structure of some kind and so fly out into space. Any smaller ship wouldn't have done this but a titan being so fricking big will.... I imagine that there are only a dozen people in the game maybe less that could have known this. And there was probably still a 90% chance that it would just stay in the shield.

Bug is the easy word for "incompetence" and bad knowledge of game mechanics.

This thread was created by DMC in order to discredit xDeath. Now some members of RA and XIX give answer and state how it was from their view - and tons of ppl start crying - RA is whining..... Have u lost some space dudes that u are so angry? If u force someone to give a comment u cant just start with - OMG they are whining. Thats simply pathetic. If it can be pulled from logs that Vashi had the pos password correctly entered then the Titan should be returned to Vashi/XIX.
Otherwise GM made the right decision.

Don't worry in a few months this thread will be good and burried and when Goonswarm lose a titan to RA they will be posting the same thread, RA have no honour, why didn't anyone warn us ?

Here is a little detail that DMC omitted
During the conversation owner was offered that we will wait while he can fly to empire and buy the skill and than board the titan (he had everything but the skill itself). He was LAZY and after thinking about it for a while said nah I will just eject it to save time. It was 100% his stupidity that caused the titan loss all he had to do was buy the skill and board it to avoid the bug.
I guess thatÆs the new eve rule if you are stupid and lazy just call a GM to fix it for you.

Titan should not have been returned, for three reasons.
A. It would have been awesome to steal a titan that way
B. What they did was within game mechanics... and
C. It's not XIX's fault that you're a bunch of f*cking morons.
I never got mad about BoB's method of killing the D2 titan, and this is far less extreme.

The titan was probably returned because it was auctioned on forums, everyone and their mothers know that auctioning it on forums, then petitioning it if something goes wrong makes it almost 100% scam safe by ccp. (example: GTC scams before the CCP sale system was introduced)
But since this is a game of chinese wispers, please continue, i'll give you a good one, titan was returned because it was auctioned 2 weeks before RA set them red so DMC where still having the devswarm/redevs support
