Never finished the Eve tutorial, I just kept trying and giving up until one time I got it. I think it was my 4th trial account.
My first 2 weeks playing Eve I never realised there was equipment besides Civilian on the market. I was flying a Catalyst with a Civilian shield booster, dying in level 2 missions frequently.
Don't worry, I'm not an idiot anymore usually.

ok ok, i wasnt going to mention it but .. my dark eve secret is that i recently stole 300billion isk from Bob not long ago (you might remember it being posted by my alt - do a search if you wish), anyway as it turns out its more money then i will ever need, so i have decided to give it away. To re-affirm my good faith in humanity (lolwtf) i have come up with a game, for every 1 mil i receive i will deposit 10 mil back into your account.

had fitted a nice cnr with about a bil worth and was feeling generous, asked if anyone wanted the salvage from my mission, some tard responded and came to me, at that time i was swarmed with frigs and i was feeling tired and tried out a faction smartbomb, had totaly forgot about the salvager that had cloaked next to me, (who the f**k fits a cloak on a salvager) so the smartbomb hits him and hello concord.. memories..

Hadnt been playing EvE long. but i had just finnished training for a Mega. Persuaded my friends to let me have the isk to get one so we could go mining in low sec. ANYWAY, i set course to the low sec which was a few jumps away. Decided to use autopilot and go get a coffee while i was jumping. Came back to my screen to find me sitting in mormelot in my pod 15km from the gate.
'DAMN IT!!! i just got suicide ganked in 0.6' i told everyone. Luckily i hade enough isk from the insurance and in my own wallet to get another.

Let's see:
In my first week in EVE as a n00b (the only excuse I have):
- Fitting my first merlin with triple civilian gatlings and congratulating myself on a good fit in corpchat...
- Not being entirely aware of empire/low-sec, I figured it was a good idea to set autopilot to 'avoid pod kills'. I spent 45 jumps flying to a mining op that was just one system over...
In more recent years:
- Recycling instead of repacking my first HAC... and even pressing ok in the warning window...
- 50 jump haul in an industrial to find out I forgot to load what I was supposed to haul...
- Happily engaging a PVP target only to find out I still had an all-snowball launcher fit (I did get away though).

As a newbling:
Not reading the tutorual, not figuring out warp, but flying towards the other station.
Trying to shoot concord because I wanted to be a "pirate".
Recently:
Blowing up my myrm for insurance inside the POS shield leaving my buddy unable to salvage it.
Constantly leaving my tech II drones in various missions because im stoned and watching stargate whilst playing.

Same here. There's just something satisfying about not being able to see your target for ten straight seconds under all the explosions. :)
First fleet battle I was in, I accidentally hit the keys to go to the solarsystem map when I was trying to jam an enemy and spent about thirty seconds trying to figure WTF had happened. When I took damage from someone, I panicked, hit the MWD icon and shot out in a random direction, unable to see where I was going. Somehow, I survived.
Me and my gang once had criminal status for attacking a ratting Raven. However, he got the upper hand and I warped out. After repairing, I warped back to my gangmate. Seeing a flashing red ship (they're bad!), I panicked and warped away from my own ally to a station, then wonder why the sentries are shooting me.
It was about then I decided a pirate's life wasn't for me. :)

1. I'd spent a bit of time ratting in Catch, and when I decided to sell my ratting phoon and move out, I checked the market, saw buy order for 85 million, and a sell order for 75 million, all in the same station I was docked in.
"Amazing" I thought, "I can make some money here" and I promptly sold my phoon to the buy order, bought another one, sold that to the same buy order.
Checked wallet.. I'd misread the numbers completely, and not only sold my phoon for 85k but I'd bought another one for 75mill and sold that for 85k as well.
2. Killed someone in a lowsec belt in my assault frigate then immediately warped to gate, with gcc. Done that more than once.
3. In 0.0, I was flying a stabber with fighters assigned, there was a neutral myrmidon at the station. I warped in, approached the myrm, locked the station, warp scrambled the station, set the fighters on the station, almost died to sentry fire

Hrmmmm lets see...
When I was a noobie I was trying to make instas in low sec for my CEO and some pirate sniped my frigate at a gate. I immediately started typing in corp chat about it and got podded (didn't know how podding worked back then), lost a set of +1 implants.
More recently, I spent the better part of two weeks bragging about how awesome my blockade running is going to be for running gate camps when I finish training for it, then got owned and podded not 20 minutes after buying my first one while trying to get out to 0.0 to transport some loot.
