I was using salvagers and tracotrs beams in the highs, needed an aggro gun, so I picked the one with the most lulz factor -------------------------------------- EVE is a cold, harsh world, filled with people that would kill you without a second thought. The forums are even worse.

After locking him he ran away despite being in a superior ship, so I pursued, and begged him to stop running and put up a fight(since he'd probably win anyway). Apparently this ****ed him off so he led me into a fifty person camp. After looking at the map for a bit I informed my Corp Mate of the system name and merrily went on my way. 15 min later I autopilot jumped thru the Taisy gate with my Freighter and 3 bill in personal pos fuels. I'd also have to include the time our CEO was moving all the Corp BPO's in his Vagabond and forgot about it. He died in PVP and provided over 150 BPO's to the enemy. Man, I'm glad that idiot is gone!

Very nice little fight go’s down over the next minute or two, his damage is pretty horrific, but I’m fitting a duel rep tank and injector and am just about keeping up, it all go’s sour for him as he fails to notice I’m killing all his drones, and once there gone I’m in low armor and he’s in structure… Boom go’s the deimos The noobie is pooing himself in local at the awesome fight going on 5km from his hull, when the defeated deimos pilot says something like "** that, pod me please" I make guns hot, go to lock… and somehow manage to lock the wrong damn pilot, I’m locking the damn noob’s rookie ship, but I’m also franticly typing something **** in local like "awesome fight, thought I was done there, enjoy the trip" etc, and don’t notice until BOOOM I’ve one volleyed the noob. Concordoken swiftly follows, and all three of us are left there in our pods laughing our asses off… Except for the noob, who was really **ed at being blown up until we told him he’d get another one for free as soon as he docked. Cost of helping a noob with his ore: 200m+ worth of ships, and a slight loss of dignity from all involved. - (combat) Patch belonging to CCP hits your drones, wrecking their liberty and freedom.

Also, I can't even guess how many times I went to haul something somewhere, whether for a mission or otherwise, only to find upon arrival that I forgot to put the stuff in my cargo bay. I remember as a noob, getting a group of my noob corp-mates together and flying 4 jumps onto lowsec to mine Jaspet. Every rat spawn made us react like defcon 1. Fortunately for us, nobody even came into the system, let alone bothered us, so we got our ore out and felt like we just won Eve. When I first got into a battleship my corp at the time first got 0.0 access. I assumed the system was always safe because it was controlled by a big alliance and I never bothered to check the security channels. One day I jump in and there is a bubble and a big gang of ships popping everyone who comes in. Noob-like, I'm still assuming they can't be hostile and I keep trying to ask them what is going on. Of course, I'm met with radio silence. Eventually I decloak and get popped almost instantly. Even then it took me a while to figure out that hostiles invaded the system and set up a gate camp. He put... creatures... in our bodies... to control our minds. He made us... say lies... do things.

Four of us, only one of us more than a few months old, took a bunch of T1 PvE fitted Caracals and an ECM Scorpion into MM space through the Taisy gate. There was no camp up at the time so we set off to a dead-end system nearby. We actually managed to kill a few battleship spawns before we got set upon by what we thought was a Prophecy. About the time we got his shields down, one of our guys went down. Not knowing about armor tanks, we got all excited because we figured he was shield tanked like us. His armor did not budge a frickin' inch. It was an Absolution, not a Prophecy. The guy felt so bad for us, he laughed at us and let the rest of us go with our hulls intact. By the time we got back to the gate to Taisy, there was a bubble camp up and we all got podded. A few months after that, I decided to try 'ratting down in Curse with a Brutix. A meta-item 1 PvE fit Brutix. I couldn't buy anything better there and I couldn't move anything significant in since we were neutral to everyone and Doril was almost always camped. Warped to a planet at range to begin scanning some belts, and the hostiles are at the same planet, presumably trying to find the farmer as well. They're a raven and flycatcher and I'm a malediction - we're 70km apart. With the gang behind me I figured I'd be OK as long as I could outrun the flycatcher, so I went to select the raven and approach it, only I clicked on the distant planet directly behind the raven by mistake, and then I clicked the warp icon instead of the approach icon before I'd realised my first mistake. The flycatcher had only begun to accelerate as I was immediately flung to the far side of the system. I had a Snowball launcer fitted on the most right high slot, full with snowballs (they used to work by then, still have 10k of them). I saw an incursus, locked it and fired a snoball... at least that's what i thought... I accidentally hit the rail just a little bit on the left of the snowball launcer... i was doomed, so i though i should kill the guy anyway... Concord was all around me, by the time i poped his incursus... I tryed to warp and i was NOT scrambled... i made it to the next belt, were i finally died by concord... The guy i had kill started screaming in local that i should have died (he didn't know that i did die in the next belt). Now the only thing i warried about, was how am i going to get my loot before someone discovers what happened and where i died... There's just something satisfying about not being able to see your target for ten straight seconds under all the explosions. :) First fleet battle I was in, I accidentally hit the keys to go to the solarsystem map when I was trying to jam an enemy and spent about thirty seconds trying to figure WTF had happened. When I took damage from someone, I panicked, hit the MWD icon and shot out in a random direction, unable to see where I was going. Somehow, I survived. Me and my gang once had criminal status for attacking a ratting Raven. However, he got the upper hand and I warped out. After repairing, I warped back to my gangmate. Seeing a flashing red ship (they're bad!), I panicked and warped away from my own ally to a station, then wonder why the sentries are shooting me. It was about then I decided a pirate's life wasn't for me. :)

I'd misread the numbers completely, and not only sold my phoon for 85k but I'd bought another one for 75mill and sold that for 85k as well. 2. Killed someone in a lowsec belt in my assault frigate then immediately warped to gate, with gcc. Done that more than once. 3. In 0.0, I was flying a stabber with fighters assigned, there was a neutral myrmidon at the station. I warped in, approached the myrm, locked the station, warp scrambled the station, set the fighters on the station, almost died to sentry fire

I immediately started typing in corp chat about it and got podded (didn't know how podding worked back then), lost a set of +1 implants. More recently, I spent the better part of two weeks bragging about how awesome my blockade running is going to be for running gate camps when I finish training for it, then got owned and podded not 20 minutes after buying my first one while trying to get out to 0.0 to transport some loot.
