- Corp>Accounts>Assets>Impounded: Can not trash impounded items. Confirmation box is given, but the item is not trashed.
- Corporation Info (show info) for a corp that has a CEO that is not the founder, will list both the founder and current CEO as a CEO.
- Corp votes will sometimes hang with results displaying 0.0% for as much as 24 hours following the end of a vote, before being sent to sanctionable actions tab. (Just wait a day and it should be sent to Sanctionable Actions)
Standing and Security Status
NPCs and Agents
- Agents with player location services: possibly caching previous requests. It often happens that if you ask for the location of Player A, then later ask for the location of Player B, the agent will tell you he will look for Player A, you get charged to find Player A, but you eventually get the location of Player B.
- NPC industrial ship, Trailer, has the description of a Sansha's Nation fighter.
Station Services
- Labs: still getting the validity check in the text fields when entering the number of runs, which prevents the "1" from deleting. Should do a validity check when the user attempts to submit, not before.
- Courier: Unable to add a new courier mission. Display does nothing after the user accepts the confirmation for adding the courier.
- Escrow: many deals are not displayed on the list, including escrows that you create. If you are the target for an escrow, you may not see the escrow on the list unless you are in the same station as the escrow.
- Escrow: creating a new escrow mission fails: money not deducted, page does not update.
- Market: Attempting to sell a ship of the same class as the ship you are already onboard in that station will result in a message stating that you can't sell the ship you are already in.
- Market: Medium Smartbombs are not listed on the market.

Build: 1424
Map and Navigation
- Map: 'Jumps in the last hour' is non-functional.
- Map: 'Pirate and police ships destroyed last 24 hours' is not updating.
- Map: 'Systems I've Visited' is not updating.
- Autopilot disables when approaching stargate, after logging in / reactivating. Example: Set a destination and activate autopilot, log out or ctd, log back in, turn on autopilot again. It will take you to the stargate, then turn itself off again.
Modules / Fitting / Cargo
- Projectile guns are not displaying their skill bonuses.
- Most modules do not show Volume in attributes.
- When moving an installed module from one slot to another slot, the module is left offline until manually toggled.
- A module installed from the cargo bay remains offline until manually toggled.
- Drone hitpoint status does not update following repairs on said drone.
- Can not move items to/from containers in your cargo from space.
- Sometimes modules are mysteriously offline following a jump or undock. (Fixed 1515 Chaos)
- Signal Amplifier II does not list a targeting speed bonus as the Tech 1 Signal Amplifier does.
- Ship Scanner I module incorrectly has a 300km range (should be 30km).
Space and Combat
- Gang Warp to Bookmarks does not work.
- Highway gates that were removed still have billboards and sentry in place.
- Defender Missiles explode upon launch.
- Missiles are pushing/bouncing ships
- Drones are able to continue hitting their targets from far outside their range.
- If a player is invited to a gang during a session change, he/she will not get the invite and a new invite can not be sent because of the previous one.
- Target lock does not always disengage when you have flown out of your max targeting range, though it will disengage if you attempt to activate a module against that target.
Graphics/Visual
- Warp graphics flicker, most noticeable from the aft.
- No engine effects on ship while in warp following a cloaked state.
- Tracking Disrputor I module still displays a pulsating blue/purple wireframe around your own ship when this module is activated. This wireframe does not go away until session change.
- Icons: Amarr Shuttle and Praetor drone are zoomed too far out. Ogre, Hammerhead, Infiltrator drones are zoomed too close in. Iteron MK5 just a bad picture. Mobile Warp Disruptors still have no icon.
- In station, there is a single white dot floating under the ship.
- Right eye is blacked out on many captured character portraits.
- Sometimes, models merge together atop player's ship until a session chage.
Sound
- Cloak and Decloak sound when jumping is no longer present.

- After a skill completes training, it will sometimes display the previous level and/or prevent you from using modules or training other skills for which it is a prerequisite. (Workaround: After the skill finishes training, exit the program and relog. Do not attempt to train the same skill level a second time, as it might reset.)
- Some skills report completion of one level higher than what was trained. This is just a display bug, you do not have level 6 skills

User Interface->People and Places
- Can not copy/move multiple bookmarks to cargo or hangar.
User Interface->Chat Evemail and Trade
- Chat: when long messages are entered, several of the following lines of messages will not appear, but reappear when enough new lines are entered.
- Can not delete channels from the channel list, unless you are in the channel.
User Interface->Other
Wallet: unable to pay lab rental fees. (Fixed serverside)
- System menu: bookmarks unsorted.
- Window pin is broken after: |logout -> login|, and |dock -> undock|. The main stays transparent, while the background regains its unpinned settings.
- Some windows' main back piece (solid box behind the content)are not connected with the body (content), and do not close when the content does. Examples: Corp Members' Hangars window, in which you select which member's hangar to look at; also in add courier when searching for the station to ship to, or the player to restrict to. Seems to be windows that include OK / Cancel buttons at the bottom.
- Sorting of planet names is incorrect, i.e. IX before V. Also some items are sorted incorrectly, i.e. Iteron MK2 before Iteron.
- Container window, loot-can window and corporate hangar share window position and size when opened. This can be a nuisance for users that prefer different sizes, i.e. large window for corp hangar and a small window for containers.
- View Petition window can not be resized.

- When switching from Full screen to Window mode via "Alt-Enter" key combo, the result is splash screen sized.
- New ship icons are not shown until cache is cleared.
Lag Related
- Lag delay following the "targeting" state before the target icons actually appear.
Website and Forums, and IGB
- When the ingame browser is open, and the player goes through a session change (jump or dock/undock), in the new session the player will lose the entire HUD and mobility as if ctrl-F9 were pressed, and is unable to regain these features until a relog.
- New character portraits in the forums are not updated.
- Forums: When a thread has only one post on a new page, it will not have a link to the new page when viewing the thread, though it will show on the forum index. Example: page N is full, and a new post creates page N+1. At the top of the thread, page N+1 will not be linked.
- In the ingame browser, symbols such as '&', '<' and '>' are replaced by their ISO code.

Heres two to add:
Window Resize bug: When switching from fullscreen to windowed mode, the window shows up 1/4 or 1/2 the size it should be. Hard closing the client restarts in fullscreen and the bug reappears on change, but esc->close and restarting the client one in windowed mode fixes it....until you go back to fullscreen again. First noted two patches ago.
Wallet bills bug: Any attempt to open the payable bills section of the wallet fails, while the "working" symbol in the corner goes crazy. Renders many wallets unusable. Mine is stuck on the corp wallet so I cant pay for corp bills OR see how much I have.

Thats been happening since I played the game (7 weeks ago) might be down to windows. The above text is my own views which may not represent my corps views.

Tried for 30 minutes (as CEO and as a director). THIS IS VERY SERIOUS!!! People will loose offices and/or Factory/Research Slots for not paying the bills!!! This is a very serious issue. plz take care of that one immeadeatly. You will avoid MUCH petitions i think..... plz for all players take care of that one.

- Toggling offline low modules in space doesn't work. Confirmed for cargo expanders. They get offline status (need 95% cap to reactivate) but the still give bonuses.
User Interface->Channels
- Deleting of a created channel is impossible. After rightclick on channel name and choosing delete nothingh happens
Station services->Labs
- After entering number of runs and hitting Enter dialog closes.

I couldn't log on with my main character so i had to use my alt. Found that the auto-destruct sometimes doesnt work. (tried, nothing. Warped, nothing (after 6 attempts). Docked, got a velator, worked. tried with pod, worked. Cloned, undocked and tried again, nothing)  --------

Modules:
Difference between T1 Afterburners and T2 Afterburners attributes/fitting (besides 35% change to 45% Max Velocity Bonus).
1MN: none. 10MN: higher capacitor usage, higher powergrid requirement. 100MN: higher capacitor usage.
Either these are unbalanced or someone really hates 10MN ABs.

Not sure if this fits in here or not.... but it is a problem for me and a few others I think.
Lag Related?
Can login, see chr, load game, see ship in hanger and items in hanger. Can open market and see prices, can open wallet and see journal and transaction entries.
- Can't open EVEmail, window opens but nothing appears. Activity indicator spins madly. - Can't open P&P, window opens but is stuck on Agents tab with nothing listed. Activity indicator spins madly. - Can see a number on the tab of chat channels (local, corp, help) but no names are visible to me, even mine is not there. Unable to type into it. Other people who don't have this problem can see me in the channel as normal.
These were still present at 9am BST, 15hrs after patching and 21hrs since the last DT.
Hoping to be able to verify these problems have been fixed when I get home in 6hrs time

Modules
Not sure if it's working at all, actually. Also, even set to autorepeat, it seems to sometimes fire for only one cycle, then deactivate. With recent and coming changes to frig combat this device combined with a MWD could be vital for speedy ship survival, so i think it will start seeing more use. If it works. 
The above are confirmed with the Tracking Disruptor I. I have not yet tested the named version, largely due to forgetting where i left them. Can we make assets searchable please

After docking, ship rotates when clicking on it. Not really new but annoying.

Courier missions wont accept when you make one. Load window bar comes up for a second after you click accept then disappears. Cant do a courier mission at all.

My level 1 agent (manufacturing, wykomi corp, aridia region) before patch gave out 75% mining missions (which is why i chose her!), now only gives out search and destroy missions (100% of about 20 missions so far).
I thought missions were supposed to be MORE variable after patch?

When undocking, hitting "Abort" will cause the screen to go black and stay that way. Only workaround I found for it was to relog.

I got the following message when trying to use a medium nosferatu: "EnergyVampire requires 30.0 Units of Charge. The Capacitor has only 17.4 Units"
I'm sure that i should not get this message for a module that has no activation costs in its description. Needless to say that i was unable to activate the module as long as my cap was below 30 units.

Various sorting problems
Sort function have glitch it sort names in some strange way like:
Iteron MK2 Iteron
or
Station III Station IX Station VI
1st case it show that function sort longer name behind shorter if shorter string have 1st part same as 2nd string.
2nd case it show that function sort alphabeticaly somehting what is numbered sequence. III, IX, VI should be changed to 3,9,6 and sorted numerically.
Sorting by name certain things in hangar does nothing and sort them by internal ID (SQL unique bject ID) from database. By example this sorting is applied to named containers in hangar/cargo or bookmarks stored in hangar/cargo. This sorting bug have side effect in system menu (solar system menu where are bookmakrs from people and places added), there are BM again sorted by internal ID.
Space, travel
Removed gates still having billboards and sentry guns. Removing these objects will lower load on servers. They should be removed.
New highway-ring. It seems to be only variation of old. New ring should spread players to more systems but it doesn't, here is Example:
If I'm in Luminaire and I want travel to New Caldari, Amarr or Pator all routes going thru Yulai. That mean Yulai will stay heavily overloaded hub. Not to mention that it's really unbalanced:
Luminaire <-> Yulai 8 jumps Yulai <-> Pator 2 jumps Yulai <-> New Caldari 2 jumps Yulai <-> Amarr 4 jumps
Unfortanetely all routes going thru Yulai again, or autopilot curse plotting is somehow broken if AP set route each time thru Yulai.

Do you maybe have your autopilot set to "Safest route" instead of "Shortest route"? If I travel from Luminaire to New Caldari, my autopilot doesn't take me through Yulai.
About the station rotation thing:
All my graphics options are on default values, except that my cap/shield/armor/etc... displays are not in percent, but absolute values (I doubt that's the reason), and that I have the advancedDisplay=1 in my prefs.ini. I need it so I can force the Z-Buffer to 24 bit, otherwise I get z fighting all over the place.
I have a P4 3.2 GHz, and a GeForce FX 5950 Ultra, if that helps anything, with 60.72 drivers. My station interior never rotated since about Castor, as far as I can remember. I deleted my cache several times since back then, btw.

This is strange, I've found that this patch now lets me change between windowed and fullscreen freely, whereas before I couldn't do either without a ctd after playing for more than 10 minutes

Escrow - When I set up a new escrow, it is ignored by the system. No money deducted, item not removed from hangar. It just stays at the stage where you can either reset the details or enact the escrow.

Can no longer drag items from a Secrue Container to your Cargohold while the Secure Container is in the Cargohold.
Like before, you now have to launch the Secure Container first before completing this task.
Yes I have enough free space in the cargohold No it's not a graphic glitch, it simply does not move the item you drag.
This bug ruins my stile of storing items.

in-game browser causes a CTD when trying to load a page if window is open (or even minimized) when gating/dock/undocking. This has been a consistant repeatable for me.
Runing: AthlonXP 512MB DDR RAM GeForce2 Ultra 64MB DDR Video (ELSA manufacturer, now defunct/owned by Nvidia)
Connection is DSL via PPPoE and a SLOOOW DNS server.

I asked for the location of Player A a couple of times yesterday from various agents.
Today I asked for the location of Player B and my agent told me he'd look for Player A, charged me the isk cost to find Player A, and eventually told me the location of Player B.
I think the agent is caching the previous requests or something......

Since I use the Research Project Management skill and work for more than one R&D agent I won't get all missions offered per email. Sometimes I have to fly and talk to them directly if they had a mission for me or not. In a few of this cases they mailed me after I accepted their mission. This problem is old (i've learned the RPM skill about one week after introduction) and was discussed in the mission forum. With the new highway routes this has become a bigger problem because I have to do lot of more jumps to reach them all. Mechkilla: It can happen that a BP offer mail does not reach you. As far as I know, the offers stay active for one week, therefore I recommend to visit all agents once per week at least (that's what I do).
It's true, it really is a very annoying bug and I hope they manage to fix it soon. In my case it prevents me from going to Venal as the trip takes so long and I would have to go back to my agents once per week so I have to stay in empire cause I don't have enough time.

Accept one that is only a "placeholder" at the moment, since I'll have the necessary standing for a chosen one. Got only one mail from him and then no more since a week. Damage modifiers r bugged. Example:
1400mm Howither shows 5x fitted and when unfitted. RoF is shown correct.
Same goes for 720mm howitzer.
I have surgical strike lvl4 and large projectile lvl3. I don¦t know how much but my skills should up it at least abit. ---------------------------------------------

I had been still having the bug where I could not get my main char to load on my PC, but could on another PC. Also my alt char could not see people in chat or any chat text, but could on the other PC.
Tried it on (using my PC) on Entropy 1424 (users online 3) and got the same result for both chars.
Thought I would "log" the problem with some screen shots, so I ran the LogServer, connected to Tranq and both chars logged in with NO PROBLEMS. Quit Eve, closed the log server, started EVE Tranq again (without LogServer), both chars logged in without these problems and was able to do the same on Entropy.
I have found that with a couple of other previous problems (eg random CTD, sound stutter) do not occur as often when running the LogServer. Don't know why this is so.
System is Gateway Performance LS PIII 600, Creative Live! sound card, GeForce MMX440, Win98se, DX9.0b (but I still get that pop up telling me I should upgrade to DX9.0b). Could probably afford a new PC if a vendor was willing to give me a 90% discount

Research times for all Armor Hardeners. Time per batch is 1day for module is way too long time. Research time was before patch 3 hours. Now research it to ME 50 would take 1month 21 days instead of 6 days.
Why research time on module is longer than on ship?

Agents
Agents with Location Services have a problem displaying the name of the person you want to search for. It works the first time, but then the next time, when you go back after the agent has "reloaded" and you can use him again, you specify a different name and he still returns you the previous name. However, he does send you the data for the correct character, hence this is purely cosmetic, but still worth fixing.
Note: I've only tried this once, i.e. with two different characters, and haven't gone back for a 3rd person yet. When I noticed this, I tried docking off the station, logging off the game or closing the application completely, with no effect on the problem. Oh, and the agent I used was Level III. The "module" infoline which shows the modules you've installed when you hover over the icons, shows previously installed modules in a repetitive manner. Hovering over the icons does not display the currently installed modules.
fitting
When a module is online, when using the 2nd mousebutton, the menu shows a "put online" value to put it offline. Also, modules appear to be online, but once undocked, they are offline.

This is a minimum, or peoples would use bookmark in fight battle to get away, shoot missile, warp and get away again. It would break war strategy too munch. Capacitor HUD (value and jauge) at times is completely screwed up.
Example1: The capacitor show 3000, I activate 6 Miners II, and hte cap go down to 1100. Example2: Just after activating a MWD, hte capacitor is still full. Example3: The capacitor is empty, or that's what it looks like, and the miners II continue cycling. Example4: The capacitor is decharging himself instead of recharging on the HUD.
This is disastrous. I'll let you imagine yourself affected by that bug in pvp.

Sorry, but it was active in Beta and still there when I got my retail copy of EVE.
Not sure if this would work for anyone else, but I usually let EVE sit for a bit at the log in screen because the sound effect there stutters as well and by closing EVE then restarting it is usually fixed for that session.
Station When loading stations after docking, the station UI appears then fades out briefly before reappearing and becoming accessable.
Will generate a log for this eventually, "it just doesn't have a high priority"(tm). 
An NPC Corporation is not the pilot of its ships and structures! |

Put offline for guns is so close to reload. When I try fast reload more than one gun more likely reload button missing and I clcik on put offline. This option must go somewhere else or need to have cornfirm!

When i reinstall EVE and update ect it will NOT orbit station eventhough the checkbox is CHECKED. Turning it off/on does nothing. The only workaround i have found is turning off, then reloggin then turning on then reloggin. Then it orbits the station.

Skilltraining:
Skills keep resetting after they have been trained, this appears visually on the skillsheet AND it also affects modules related to these skills.
More specifically...
All skills i have trained yesterday 28/04 and today 29/04 seem to magically 'reset' at each session change.
The skill engineering lvl 2 for example gives me just enough powergrid to use 2x10mn AB's on an iteron III (75pg default).
HOWEVER,
Each time i undock/dock/jump/relog my engineering skill resets to lvl 0. Its still displays lvl 2 but the value on my powergrid reads 75 which equals 0 skill lvl. When i try to train engineering at this point the skill drops back to 0 and start training. When i aboard the skill either pops back to lvl 2 OR it displays lvl 0.
workaround:
When a skill resets i train it again and then aboard untill it displays correctly again, once it displays correctly the skill also functions correctly...untill the next sessionchange.
This also happened to my acceleration control skill, drone skill, basically every skill i trained yesterday and today.
I might add that this is a compleet pain in the ars. I hope this gets fixed soon 
UI:
When loading a new type of ammo into your guns the new type of ammo does not display when you do this in quick succesion (i assume because it is being moved around in your hold by the game).

Autoscanner now show distance between 1km and 10km as 3.4 m as example for 3 400 m. It should be 3.4km. From my point of view it seems that formating string in function blank 'k' with ' '.
It's funny when I try loot can what by autoscanner is 3.5 m far away but he is actually 3500m .

I too have noticed all kinds of weirdness with the skills... If I start training a skill and then switch to another, a window comes up and basically says it's okay to do so, and that I won't lose any points. But sometimes I do lose all the time I have spent training on the skill I switched from.
Sometmies it will show my points are still there, until I go back to train again and it starts over from the beginning of the level from scratch. Or sometimes it shows the points as gone once I switch, but then they magically reappear when I switch back. Either way, it's broke!
Of course the workaround is to not switch skills while training, but I like to make sure I am always training. So when I log off for the day, I switch to a skill that won't be finished any time soon. That way it won't complete before I get back on. In a nutshell, I manage my skill training time so that there is never a time when I am not training a skill. But without being able to switch skill training without losing points, it absolutely and completely negates the efficiency of trying to do so.

Sound/music:
I usualy play most puter games, eve included, with both the sound and the music off, but ocasionaly I turn it on, just to see what I'm missing. The last time I had it on in Eve was in November all worked fantastic then, but when I turned both on today, the "voice notification" was borked and very choppy and the music reset or skipped to the next track after about 5 sec. Very annoying. I haven't changed any setup on my computer since then, except for upgrading my graphics card drivers.
Anyone know if this is a bug or whether I can fix it myself easily?

I trained Evasive Maneuvering to level 3. At 2004.05.01 12:36:52 i got the message skill training completed. So i started to train lvl4. At 2004.05.01 15:44:09 i recieved message the skill training is complete...to lvl 3? The skill points i trained for lvl 4 already vanished and Evasive Maneuvering was set back to 16000/16000 skill points. Still have the mails.
Exiting game and login in again just caused skillpoints for Evasive Maneuvering being "-58342/16000". YES, negative Skill points...

In my situation, DT does not fix it. Diff comp does not fix it. Clearing cache does not fix it. It is also displayed bugged on site info.
I noticed that my gunnery seemed a little higher then normal, but thought nuthing of it, so i procedded to add all skill point totals together. They do equal my total number of skill points.
My total SP for electronics is 154,175, it should be 364,258. So im missing 210,083.

If u add these all up, u will get the 2nd number (3.1mill) but it states that i have 3.25mill. So when i add up all totals it does equal my total number of skillpoints, so the points i had in electronics are somehow displaying here. And the exact number im missing from electronics lvl 5(210,083). Is the exact difference that has been added to gunnery total. But these 204,083sp are not in gunnery, only in the totals info.
Sorry for the long post. Just trying to give as much info as possible. Hope this helps.
*edit* Actually i only have approx 140k extra in gunnery, so i must have another 50k extra SP in another skill list, will try and find out then edit again.

Skill training was fubar here too, a couple of days ago I had the same thing Amy Foxx had. I started training Connections to level 3, and logged out. One hour before the training should have completed, I checked the Character Info page in my webbrowser. It said it was still training to level 3, 21267 out of 24000 SP, time to completion was well over 16 hours (!).
After I logged in and checked the ingame Character Sheet, it said that I only had 7431 out of 24000 SP. It also showed the 16 hours to completion, which seemed more correct in this case.
In short: it seemed that somewhere on that afternoon skill training restarted, but that the Character Info page wasn't fully updated (training time was, but the amount of learned SP wasn't).
I filed in a bug report, and let the traing complete after 16 hours. Everything is back to normal, even though it took a bit longer than expected.

And another quick edit: let's say I log out with my ship flying towards a jumpgate, with the autipilot programmed to jump through that gate. Before I jump, I log out, go to sleep, and the next morning I continue where I left. I warp in near the jumpgate.
Wheteher I re-activate the autopilot while I'm still warping, or after warp, it says "Autopilot approaching stargate". Immediatly after that, it reports "Autipolit disabled". After I re-enable the autopilot, it continues the trip as it should.
Not a bug with serious consequences, maybe even a feature? Just letting you know :)
BTW, is the server rendering the player avatars on the forum still broke/down?

If I am part of a gang and we enter warp, I (and everyone else in the gang) sometimes get the visual of another ship on top of my own. It's generally always the same ship graphic applied on top of everyones.
The other night, when I was part of a larger fleet, my rifter got a Scorpion put on top of it. One warp later, I had a Raven added on top of this. Then later I got a Tempest put on top of those! Suffice to say, it looked a mess.
In game terms, it doesn't change anything. My ship still has all the rifter stats. But as I cannot even see my small ship among all these battleships, I cannot right click my ship and select "stop my ship". It also makes positioning my ship more difficult too.
Docking in stations and travelling through gates always clears this, but that's not always possible.

Right-click the power core circle (Inside hitpoint graphics) on the HUD and choose stop my ship from there. It's always easier to do it that way --

in 0.0 space
fighting large spawn of cruisers in me bs 6 60-85k and lots of frigs
kill most of them but taking heavy damage
warp out to be safe
land in safe spaot 20 au from belt
3 targets still locked i can hear the ships still firing at me !! im still taking damage
scanner shows targets still being a threat but cant target as their 20au away
i kill the ones i still have locked (from 20 au!!)
4 frigs i cant lock still hitting me
i have to warp to second spot to break lock

But if i.e. i turn around and disengage, fly 100km away, the targets still are locked. yes they dont unlock but when you try to fire or something... they get unlocked and you get a message that you are to far....

I tried to change a skill today (on my alt) to another and found initially to my amusment i could train two skills at once. The initial skill i was training was ticking away while the skill i chose was doing the same. At first i thought i was drunk...then better than everyone else...but i guess its a bug .
Client restart and cache clearance dont seem to fix it .

We have held a station for at least a month now and several offices are marked "not publically available", yet miraculously those corporations have held those offices even after thier bill had expired. This needs to be looked into, thanks.

Agents are shown as available but they don't give you Missions. Ex.: Connections 4, Agent L2 Q-11, Faction -0.3, Corpstanding 0.0 (never done a Mission for that corp before). After doing a single Mission for a L1 Agent of that corp, the Agents starts giving out Missions.

Modules T2 Afterburners: 1MN AB II has the exact same stats as the T1 version, except is 45% Max Velocity Bonus instead of 35%. 10MN AB II has the 10% MVB over T1, but requires additional 10MW powergrid and 25 capacitor energy. 100MN AB II also has the 10% MVB over T1, but requires an additional 100 capacitor energy.
The 1MN T2 has no penalty to get the extra 10% MVB, whereas the 10&100MN T2 both have penalties in cap usage. The 10MN T2 also get penalised on powergrid.
An NPC Corporation is not the pilot of its ships and structures! |

I trained electronic warfare to lvl 1 and tried to equip some ecm modules to test them out witha corp mate and it said i need to train electronic warfare to lvl 1. character sheet said i had lvl 1 electronic warfare. I logged out and loged back in and i could equip the ecm modules just fine so i take off and as i go to use the module it says i need to train my skill to lvl 1 again.
I had the same kind of thing when training high speed manuevering. I trained navigation to lvl 4 then trained afterburner to lvl 4 then I went to train high speed manuevering and it said i needed to train navigation to lvl 4 first which was completed a few days prior. Once i got high speed manuevering trained I equiped a micro warp drive fine then took off and was told i could not use the drive because i need to train high speed manuevering to lvl 1. i logged out and logged back in and then i could use the module.
EDIT - I have only have been having these problems since around the 28th of april.

If more than one turret/launcher tries to auto-reload with the same ammo type within a short period of time, only the first one actually reloads, all subsequent ones give an 'Auto Reload failed, cause there was no ammo found of same type' error popup. If you are looking at the cargo screen at the same time it looks like the first reload takes the whole stack of ammo and puts it back a second or two later, so any other reloads in that period fail.
Rockets are displayed as 'Torpedo' in space and in some menus (e.g. 'Loading the torpedo into the missile launcher').
Sometimes a turret/launcher gets 'stuck' in reloading. It keeps blinking, but doesn't give a context menu or do anything if you click on it. Couldn't exactly reproduce the bug, but it occured when i warped out while firing or reloading.

Also on Chaos:
If you equip a module in station, it initially shows up as offline in the fitting screen. If you try to rightclick->toggle online you get a 'module is already online' error message. CPU/Powergrid is not updated (show values as if the module was not online). Closing/opening the fitting screen doesn't seem to fix it. Activating another ship and then going back to the original ship fixes this and the modules are online after you do it. Can't check if the modules are online or offline if you undock directly, because I got stuck undocking on Chaos now.

Visual/Portraits/Lighting
As documented elsewhere, alt-tabbing from full-screen mode and returning will make all (player or NPC, whether you right-click to generate or just click normally to show in-game) successive generated portraits lack lighting completely. They all appear flat and gray, no background.

Functional/Buying & Selling/Repackaging 100% Reproducible
When trying to sell an item that's been used and has to be "repackaged", you get a message saying so.
However, when you try to repackage, the item will not repackage. You can click ad nauseam, no go.
You must bring up the "Sell" dialog box again, and hit "Cancel". Then you can repackage on first try.
Apparently the sell dialog doesn't get closed properly when interrupted by "this item must be repackaged" event. Game thinks you're still on the Sell Dialog when you try to repackage, and returns a failure. --- Mining & Transport - Logistics Division - Hadean Drive Yards

Maps and Navagation
There seems to be a bug in the autopilot plotting. The last 2 days when I have plotted, it has taken me on extremely long routes. I have "Prefer Shorter" marked.
I realized it last night when I plotted a route from Algogille to Bereye to Luminaire. It gave me 12 jumps. 10 jumps to Bereye, then 2 jumps to Luminaire. I knew Luminaire was only 1 jump from Algogille so the plot had to be wrong.
I redid the plot by going to Luminaire, then Bereye, then back to Luminaire. That was only 5 jumps to complete the mission.
If it is a bug, I've reported it. If I'm doing something wrong, then someone will tell me. Thanks.

If i fly to my factory station with an Imicus and want to sell the 40 Imicus' i produced, i always get the message "you can't sell the ship you are using"....but i clicked at the 40 packaged Imicus and not at my assemble Imicus. We should be able to disable the auto-reload error messages. For example when your ship gets blown up, the auto-reload messages spam the desktop with pop-ups indicating the guns can't auto-reload.

Energy Transfers / Shield Transfers cause terrible graphics lag.
If you activate a power transfer array and let it go for a couple hours all clients in the area will start to experience a crippling graphics slowdown. Alternativly activate alot of the modules and you will see the slowdown within 10-20 minutes.

Shields and cap do not update after docking then undocking. Ie if I go in with 50% cap I'll come out with 50% until I do something that uses cap, at which time it'll display as 100% like it should.

Agents - Pirate Intrusion
Got this mission, had 6 sets of pirates to kill. Took me ~40 minutes to complete and received 155k isk + 100 rolled mexalite as a bonus (nego l3, conn l4). Got 2.16% increase in standing w/ my agent and .5955% with the corp. I have worse than average combat skills but managed the pirates OK in a thorax. Also got decent loot from the various rats. Seems like a pretty decent reward for 40 mins of effort and I'm a crummy combat pilot so surely someone with better skills could have finished it faster - probably 20-30 mins.
I had some trouble with the ordering of the bookmarks - you get a set of 6 of them for the system. Upon docking in the station it seemed that the bookmarks rearranged themselves, so when I undocked the ordering was different and I had to warp to all of them to find the two I was missing.
I thought I had finished and got the message "I expected 4 heads." There were six (6) sets of pirates to kill. A typo?
Station services The repair shop and reprocessing plant show nothing for me when I attempted to use them.
Items Received a "small energy neutralizer I" which displays the tech 2 logo in the upper left hand corner. Also shows tech level 2 when I display item attributes:
Energy neutralized: 50 Tech level: 2 Activation cost: 50 Activation time/duration: 6 Range: 6,500
Dunno if this is really a tech 2 item or a tech 1 item that looks funny.

Modules:
Activating the Optical Tracking Computer (named medium slot tracking computer) does not update your guns' tracking speed/accuracy. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the tracking computer mods in general, or just with this mod type in particular.
Example: I have a Tempest with 5x 1400mm Howitzers, and 1 Optical Tracking Computer equipped. I activate the Optical Tracking Computer, and the tracking speed/accuracy on the 1400mm Howitzers stay the same -- however, the optimal range for the guns do update correctly (as per the tracking computer's stats).

Sorry, but it was active in Beta and still there when I got my retail copy of EVE.
Not sure if this would work for anyone else, but I usually let EVE sit for a bit at the log in screen because the sound effect there stutters as well and by closing EVE then restarting it is usually fixed for that session.
Worked for me when I bought my retail copy back last July, and continued working up until Castor. Hasn't worked since, no idea why.
Kill off any other programs you may be running. It seems Winamp and a few other media players may be part of the problem with this issue.

It seems if you disable 'sun occlusion', fly around a bit, then re-enable it, it stays disabled. The option itself changes, but sun occlusion is never re-enabled. Restarting the client doesn't seem to solve it, however it can be fixed by cleaning out the cache. I tried this on an old GeForce2 Ultra and a Radeon 9700 Pro, both running the latest and greatest drivers.
Can anyone else confirm this?

Gangs - Gang invite - If docking/undocking/jumping (i.e. session change) when you are sent a gang invite you are unable to be sent a new invitation, something like "Character already has an invitation to your gang". You are what is known as "bugged for the gang". Even re-logging doesn't help. You have only one of 2 options, fly without being in the gang or reform the gang, which with 40+ member gangs isn't really an option.
Chat - The number of people displayed for a chat channel rarely matches the number of characters displayed in the list to the right.
Chat - Text marking in chat windows - If you're lucky copy will copy what is shown as selected into the buffer.
Chat - URIs are underlined to highlight them, this doesn't always match where the URI is on the screen.
Chat - Characters that have been "univited" from an "invite only" channel can rejoin at will. The unvite command doesn't appear to reset the "chat invitation" flag.
Chat - Local channel doesn't contain text after jumping to another system. You have to select another channel and the go back to local to see the text (this always happens when windows are stacked, not sure about unstacked).
Chat - When switching between stacked chat windows, you always have to slightly resize the window to see the last few lines of text that has been entered.
EVE Map (F10) - The number of players in space shows incorrect values, for example, there are 50+ characters in space in a system, and the map shows only 15 !
Quick Map (F11) - When using the directional scanner, the angle displayed on the lower panel doen't match the angle selected in the scanner window.
Graphics/Video - Occasionally the client graphics go into slow motion, although everything around the player is happening in real time. Maybe lag related, because it will eventually "catch up" with the rest of the EVE universe. Auto-Scanner, weapons etc are un-affected, it's only the graphics that slow down to 1/30th of real speed. You mostly notice this is happening when you rotate the view and is spins in slow motion.
Lag - You are still entering hangar, you still haven't finished buckling your seat belt, etc. Session changes really have to be looked into.
Space/Combat - Targeting ring only shows armour damage on the right hand side. I'm sure it used to be 50% shield(left), 25% armour (top right) and 25% structure(bottom right). The Charactersheet often doesn't load completely. Closing and opening it again, selecting different subtabs sometimes helps, but not always. Problem with graphical artifacts on pods.
After engaging in combat with lots of crus and trop flying around and loosing my BS and being podded, the pod continued to emit torp pulses even after a warp for well over 10mins till a reboot on Nvidia's latest drivers.

After mining asteriods and them "Popping" they normally are supposed to reappear after downtime. In certain systems this is not happening. I have been to the same system a couple of times and the same roids that i had mined 2 weeks ago are still not there.

If you push fire button on something with a gun after it has been destroyed or warps out or you warp [out, or it otherwise disappears from your lock, Eve will eventually automatically target something and shoot it.
This does not happen immediately.
Example 1. I was fighting a bunch of rats at a jumpgate, having fun. Then I had launched a missile at one, and that missile killed it just before I pushed fire on my gun. (so i attempted to fire on target that was now gone) Next thing I heard the locking sound, then saw the jumpgate locked, then heard the shot fire...
Example 2. Joking around after a catastrophic attack by rats in a belt, A friend of mine jokingly locked me from his Battleship. (My computer autolocked him in return) As a return joke, I pushed fire button on him just as he warped out. (shot did not fire because he was unlocked by then) So I head out. When I warp in at the jump gate, immediately I hear the locking sound. I look around for rats or enemies, none. Then I see the jump gate in my lock. Then I hear the shot. Then I loose yet another cruiser...
Example 3. During mining op protection, I have auto fired on cargo containers about 3 times. This is after heated conflicts with rats, typically where a friend actually gets the kill shot before I push fire, or a missile gets rat before i push fire. No harm here.
Example 4. By now I know whats going on. Im fighting 3 cruiser rats this time. Too tough for me so I warp out in middle of fight to jump gate. I hear lock sound. I hit ESC and quit game. Wait 5, logg back in, return to fight. This time I warp to planet and rest a few minutes, then warp to station. Start hearing the lock, hit ESC quit game. I do this a few times. The point here is, trying to cool off at a planet does not work.
There is no reliable workaround for this. I reported online in hopes to get my ships back but no such luck.
EDIT I have managed to find a portion of this bug that is 100% REPRODUCEABLE.
1. Lock 2 asteroids. 2. Unlock the selected asteroid. (This leaves you with no selecttion.) 3. Push fire, or activate your mining lasers.(none will because no selection) 4. Select the already targeted but currently unselected asteroid icon at the top. This will cause your previous activation from step 3 to now be applied and shoot or mine the asteroid.
I just thought of a twist. I am gong to activate my guns with no selection and no targets locked. Then click an asteroid in space and choose approach. If my suspecions are correct, it will be auto-targeted and fired upon. I'll report my findings. ____ If your not dyin' your not tryin'. |

In space, every item gets an icon, except for your ship, so if you zoom out, you still see everything, except your own ship. This is a consistent Eve UI Philosophy problem. One never sees himself.
Starmap
- right click menu does not work on selected destination.
- Needs to be an option for system names to display
- 'my corp-mates' updates minimum of 5 minutes, should be at each request.
- I also agree that the "my" prefix is overused in Eve. Its a little too chummy. I'm handling serious business here. Money/power/respect. Drop the cutesy 'my.' I may be playing a game, but Imhotep is certainly not.
- Don't like starmap auto-closing at jumpgates, Sometimes I need to do serious agent research and location studying, but stupid map keeps closing

Not sure if it's reproducable, but almost everyone i've asked has had the same problem....
At seemingly random times, when I occasionally log on, many people's portraits which I know to be in cache (such as my alts' or my corpmates' ones) are displaying as if they haven't been downloaded.
Could this be an error in the caching process? |

Bug with missions not giving agent standings.
I accepted mission. Picked up item I had to pick up. Set destination to drop off the item as specified by the agent. Node crashed. Relogin. Dock at station to complete mission. Complete mission. No standings reward given for mission.

Not sure this is the bug or it has just been change to bad.

When useing large laser they only seem to work on optimal range... what I mean is that they dont go down to accurency falloff.
EKS: When I use my lasers I start off and 60km plus normaly and in the old patch I could fire all the way down to around 16km and still hit now I can hit anything that come within 40km with the laser... tryed around 5 times one time I tryed on a sepant defender for 20k bounty keept it at 20-30 km and firred at it for around 10 min couldent kill it and hit is like 5 times in 100 shots.
Anyway else plz test this and see if I am just serious unlucky again and again.

Sry, 7 pages and I don't have time right now to read through them all to see if this (trivial) bug has already been reported:
Tab order is wrong passwording Sec cans Tabbing between fields i.e. old password, new password & verify new password jumps all over the place.
This was once fixed and has been re-introduced, perhaps the code got branched at some point, bugs-n-all, causing this to be re-introduced? I wonder how many other bugs crept back in in this way?

Not sure this affects all ships/types of weapons, but with Megathron + Projectile maximum damage is done at optimal + fall off. At optimal range no hit at all.

1) From within station, assemble a new ship (shuttle is fine) 2) Make ship active 3) Exit station (notice cap is at 100%) 4) Warp to stargate (notice cap immediately drop to 0.0% regardless of distance)

My 1400mm's now hit only once in eery 6 or so shots - even with optimal range. I found myself killing 750K rats in 0.0 before the patch was tough enough - now I take damage from a 75K rat in Empire
What's going on?

I think thats a bit excessive to say this really sucks. I just took it as new ships need to charge up. It happens to any new ship. But they do need to fix their display of having 100% but not really being 100%. ____ If your not dyin' your not tryin'. |

drones are bugged, they attack other people without me ordering them. even if we have +10.0 standing against each other.
Testing: find a NPC target and destroy it, after the drones have destroyed its target they will engage your buddy or anyone else in the belt.

Cargo scanners don't work sometimes....
testing: i tried scanning convoys, there was some witting stationery outside aliatra warehouse in Autama, but the scanner was still going after a minute, when i turned it off, the icon went orange and nothing happened. I can only assume this happens on empty ships, i don't want to take a hit blowing an empty indy.

It gives bonus. I was juggling with setup last night, and sometimes it did show, sometimes it didnt. Graphic bug I guess.

Cargo Scanner malfunction. Ship Kestrel. The installed "Cargo Scanner I" works only once per login. The only way to use it again is to log out and log in.

* Cargo scanner does not work on npc haulers (purveyor, merchant, vanguard). Module activates but nothing happens, cannot turn module off.
after attempting the above: * docking and then undocking causes you to blackhole until you relog.
tested on a scorp, ares, iteron mk2, and navitas in masalle solarsystem

I'll see your cargo scanner and raise you 1 Survey Scanner.
Survey scanner holds its last scan position such that all subesquent scans are from its original position until you hit 'clear.' So you can move to a new location but your scans will be from the old location.

There is a typo when I finished training Minmatar Frigate Level 5. I got the level fine but the pop up told me I received level 6.

Oh yah, another thing.... "sometimes" players are not showing up in the local channel. I flew along side another player through 5 systems and he never showed up in my local channels, though other players were. I'm not always watching my local, so not sure how common this is.

Gyrostabilizer II does not effect rate of fire at all (this is a bug). It is supposed to grant a 10.5% bonus. It does correctly effect the damage modifier. It does incorrectly REDUCE optimum range of the turrets (this is a bug). So, two problems (bugs) with gyrostabilizer II. Attributes are: Damage Modifier 1.1x; tech level 2; Rate of Fire Bonus 10.5%
I hope this is the correct place to post this as I could not find a forum titled Bug Reports.

There are still numerous items which can be built by players which can't be sold on the markets. Any item for which a BP is available to players should be market sellable. None of the 4 new BP's after the last patch (350mm Rail, 200mm Rail, Cruise Missile Launcher and Ballistic Control) can be sold on the market, only on Escrow. It can't be that hard that when you add a BP to the game, you also flag that item as being sellable on the markets.

When you use torps to kill an NPC, the torp explosion starts repeating about every 5 seconds. Keeps going till a session change, it follows you everywhere. Happens every now and then, don't know what cuases it

i can confirm this. explosion appears, then repeats in the same distance and direction from your ship, no matter where you go. rotate the view and still there. its a 3d engine graphics bug methinks, not a driver problem

Well, I think this is a bug....
Pre-patch, the Guardian Executor (was 250k, now 500k serp BS rat) used to open fire from about 20km, and would try and maintain an orbit of roughly 3km.
After the patch, the same ship opens up on you from 50km, and orbits at 30km, 10 TIMES what it used to.
It still uses and drops the same guns (Electron Blasters) and gets great hits from these super long ranges.
Is this intentional or what?
