May well be an erroneous old patch note, it specifically refers to making ECM bursts affect drones. We are checking into this and will update or clarify it asap.

At least put decent arguments into your "rants".
IMHO The dedicated T2 ECM boats are underpowered by 5%. I've been thinking 1001 way of beefing up a widow, but it always comes to the fact that the widow purchase price doesn't justify its 20% bonuses. 25% would be a ship worth its 500 mio though.

Excuse me? Computer programs should NEVER ôcircumventö admin privileges. Admin privileges are there for a reason you know.
This entry needs to be reworded, we are moving the invocation of the DirectX install from the EVE client to the EVE installer/patcher.

If you launch drones, will they just mill about until you die? Or (as I hope) does the jammer have to jam each individual drone? Will drones still auto aggro the agressor?

ECM has, and probably always will be, overpowered. Every other race ECM can be countered with relative ease.
Galente damps are nerfed to hell, all you have to do is move closer if you are targeted by damps, and you need 3 on one ship to have any useful effect.
Tracking disruptors, sure they reduce the damage you take, but you still take damage.
Target painter, it lets you hit your target more often but you still take damage.
ECM, nothing you can do to counter other than try and run away. (Or gimp your ship with ECCM and pray)
Unless of course you are one of the 'chosen' race then you can fire FoF's

Thats odd, I always just wait until they lose their jam and destroy their untanked ship before they can get another jam off. The key is surviving long enough for them to lose that jam. It does happen you know.
ECM is an inconvienience but its not overpowered. thats pretty much all a dedicated jammer ship can do is jam.

CCP deals wrecking damage to forum whiners causing pwnage 
Just a few notes for consideration:
1-As someone posted is it possible that when a ship gets destroyed the camera doesn't zoom in on the pod its really annoying. 2-While you are fixing thruster effects on lots of ships could it be possible to increase the thruster effects on the raven i mean that ship has one huge thruster nozzle one would expect to see a huge thruster effect coming out of it. 3-Could you lower the volume of launching missiles a bit they are very high and annoying. 4-Regarding eve voice can you add an option for using various voice codecs (specifically different bandwidth codecs). 5-Sometimes when you are flying in a pod the pod stops a couple of meters away from the jump range of the gate could you make it so that the pod drops out of warp right into jump range when warping to zero to a gate.
But again excellent job CCP (Burn forum whiners burn !!!) |

yea know.... i think i lost 5 implants this way..... I JC'ed into a body , while at that station, and BAM im missing 5 implants...

At first glance, it looks like a lot of good fixes/improvements. I was, however, very disappointed that there was no mention of toggling the flag that prevents corps from joining FW while retaining alliance membership. I'm still looking foward to the time when RPers are no longer punished for being in a RP alliance.

Lots of good fixes, though one to add to the killmail fix:
1. Killmails will now be generated if there is lag in the system, like they used to be, so that peeps don't miss out on whoring SuperCap kills.

Must be me then, as every time I get jammed, it's permajam, I've lost tanked BS's to EW, I estimate 10-15 jam cycles using multispecs without a break. I have skills for ECM and using a cycle technique can permajam most stuff easily, if one misses another picks it up with not enough time for target to lock...
anyway... we're off topic here. I just want the clarification of the drones affected by ECM comment :)

Erm... It is supposed to be the other way around! NOS blueprints have two weeks of copy time (for a Heavy NOS) whereas a Neutralizer has a more realistic copy time... Surely its a typo...?
For those not into Industry, making a single copy of say...a Large Hybrid Railgun takes 6 hours. Making a single copy of a Large Nosferatu takes two weeks.
Not all modules are equal despite them all being in the same catagory and many are special cases such as nos/neuts/cloaks. I realise there are many of you who would want similar times for every module despite this and see it as inconsistent and unfair (to which there is a good argument for such)
All modules may well be reviewed in the future with regards to creating a better variation between module sizes themselves with regards to R&D job times including the nos/neuts such that the variation by size and module class is fairly similar and more transparent.
So rather than setting the (Heavy) NOS copy time from two weeks to a few hours (or even a day), the Neutralizers are now also as hard to copy? I'll grant you that it's fine that module copy time differs (which adds variety), but two weeks for a SINGLE copy make a blueprint uncopyable, you can't even make three copies without going over that 30 day research limit or something... Just asking since I got a Neutralizer BP I wanted to use for my first Invention  ------------------------ Ship Yield Calc Improve Mining |

Question for you devs: is the change regarding the automatic update thats mentioned for the market window going to also apply to the orders tab in the market and wallet windows? I really hope so. It's a nuisance to have those views automatically updating all the time. Also when the automatic update is set to off, will there be a way to manually refresh the view? A refresh button perhaps with a 10 second cooldown timer?

IN ADDITION, lets assume a 50% success invention rate, that's 20 Large NOS manufactured per month per science job?!?!?!?!
