Have you tried dragging and dropping them onto each other? They'll form a stack and then you can drag the entire stack into an F1-8 slot. Faded modules means those can't be grouped.

You might want to mention in the description that the Blockade Runner does not get the hidden reactivation bonus to the cloaking device like the other ships that can use the Covert Ops Cloak. So your COVOPS frigate can recloak 5 seconds after it turns off the cloak (basically the time needed to do the session change on a gate). A BR uses the full 30 seconds. So you need to either sit uncloaked on the outbound side for a bit, or hold your inbound cloak before aligning. Annoying, but can be dealt with if the player uses session timer etc.

Just been on an hour, and it's amazingly smooth. I'm on the classic graphics package, and at first I thought the gates hadn't changed. Then I went on a long trip - it's all good. The new gates are very pretty.
Will it be possible to view and sort corp members by the certificates they hold?
As a recruiter I talk to noobs a lot. I'm thinking certs will be a handy tool in advising them in the sort of skills they should be specialising in. So thanks for that, it's a big help.
And finally, I can use the market while docked! The low sec filter is right proper handy. I've not checked this fully, but will it filter out high sec "islands" as well?
I'm off to bed, after staying up specially.

Yes, was intended. Only weapons are groupable. Sez so in the patch notes.

Me thinks CCP said all grouped weapons need the same ammo - maybe that's your problem?

Weapons Grouping is the best feature in the expansion imo, kudos to those who thought about it, designed it, coded it and tested it :)
one question though and might be a bug that if i grouped my weapons and not even using it, it keeps blinking giving an impression it might be active and fire one the first thing i select in overview, this needs to be addressed please if its a bug.

There are few things i've noticed.
1. If medium drones have now signature radius of 125m than heavy drones should have more (180m for example). 2. Speed of the battleships have been massively reduced which makes it very difficult to: Keep up with the ships that are faster and are far away from you and are faster (50km or more), salvage in missions now takes more time since you travel to the wreck very long time, getting to acceleration gates / wrecks / mission objectives that are 80km or more away from entry beacon really takes up time. 3. A Meta 8 overdrive injector should have a little more speed than meta 5 (like before) not just cargo penalty reduced. If a Overdrive Injector T-2 has 12.5% speed bonus meta 8 should have let's say 13.5% (like the difference in the drones i mentioned before). 4. NPCs in missions should now have reduced speed according to new "ship speeds" - if a nightmare can do 94m/s how come in a sansha mission battleship goes 156m/s ? Most of the ships could not come close to that sansha mission battleship.
Don't get me wrong, those are only my suggestions. I hope you consider them and think about it.
But i have to agree with others it was best as it was before the patch with the ships speeds at least for missions (i don't know about pvp). I suggest you optimize missions for the new ship speeds and npc mission-ships speeds.

oh and will we get HUD adjustment on the vert axis instead of just on horizontal ?

Not a big fan of mandatory module timers at all. I don't mind that they exist (although they aren't always completely accurate), but I'd like to have the option to toggle them off. I've got a bit of the OCD and tbh things like circulating bars of fluff content distract me. If modules didn't blink green in unison regardless of when they were activated I'd probably have blown my brains out (at last year's Fanfest in the middle of the crowd, to make a point.)

Since the patch I am unable to shrink item windows. I can drag and enlarge them but they will not shrink past this minimum size.

It won't let me shrink that window any smaller. I tried from the corner, the top, and the bottom to drag and that is small as it gets.
Prior to patch you could shink them down a lot smaller to save screen space.
This is very annoying :(

Weapon Grouping : Great idea, saves me from mashing my F# buttons.
Cycle Timer : Another thing I enjoy seeing.
Certificates : Good way for the new players to set a few goals.
Medals : Useless in my opinion, at least make them free.
Speed Nerf : I figured it was coming, some things still go fast, but they aren't invincible. No complaints yet.
Missile Nerf : I look at the stats and wonder what CCP was thinking. Last time I checked, Battleships go a bit faster than 69 M/S. I realize that where it one was, I could hit anything. If you want cruise missiles to only hit Battleships, that's fine, but at least keep the explosion velocity to where I can hit a Battleship moving full speed without an afterburner. Would it really affect the game if it could be doubled to around 150 m/s?
To me, this wasn't that great of an expansion. Sure, it added some things I will enjoy using, but I took a major hit in a weapon type I have 25% of my total skill points in, and it's making me wonder why I've spent about 2 months on these skills, only so they can be made into what they are now.

The timer adds contrast, making it much easier to see if modules are active or not.
Nice to see the speed rebalance didn't shift things back to making the missile ships overly powerful.

It seems to me that CCP has made a pretty good first attempt at a game balance here.
1. Speed was nerfed, but speed-tanking is still useful. 2. Missiles was nerfed, but are still useful against bigger/mwd'ing ships. 3. Target painters are made relevant again. 4. AB's are made relevant again. 5. Mission income nerfed. Ravens were way too good at missioning. 6. Smaller ships are relevant again.
There'll probably be tweaks needed down the line (hard not to when changes are this big), but a decently good first shot...
FYI, I fly a missile boat for my money-making (L4 high-sec)

Seen from a game balance perspective, this is pretty damn good....

You can also group your weapons on the fitting screen. Hold shift + drag&drop. Only empty weapons of the exact same model can be grouped.

How are we supposed to know this, would have been nice if it was implemented somewhat more clearly.
Also can the white circle thingy be turned off, for shield hardeners and stuff like that, its very annoying / distracting.

the npc battleships go the same speed but mine go's slower now, thats really fair, takes forever to get in web range, and when I finally do, it doesn't slow them down at all..
Pretty funny how a Gist Seraphim can go 80 m/s webbed and i go 120 un-webbed full speed.

I'm really liking the patch so far. The weapons grouping system is excellent (especially for fast crystal changes, and it seems to have fixed the issue with multiple guns "going" for the same T2/faction crystal). Module activation timers are good to see too (though I sympathise with those who don't want to see them, it seems reasonable to give an option to turn these off). Above all the weapons systems feel quite balanced now too, which is quite impressive considering the scope of the task.

I think you're both missing the point of the medals. They need to cost ISK, partly so they're an ISK sink and partly so that they really do mean something. Ironically, they would actually be useless if they were free, since every Tom, **** and Harry would have dozens of them. Imposing a small cost (both on creation and on granting to a member) means that the corp only creates medals they feel are relevant, and only grant them to members that they feel deserve recognition.

I (and CCP) don't agree. The ethos of the changes were that weapons systems should not be overly effective against smaller targets than they were intended for. Shooting frigates with battleship-class weapons ought to be very very difficult. Using precision cruises should help hitting frigates, though as other posters have said, use light drones for the task. While cruise missiles were overly effective before, you don't have a right to destroy everything in front of you with them.
Alternatively, you could reconsider the Nighthawk, which fires heavy missiles with a precision bonus and thus will be doing much more damage than the Raven/CNR against smaller ships (and from what I've been led to believe is fairly competitive in terms of damage to battleships too).

Nice patch, but still waiting for the graphic update for the most visible/viewed part of my screen; the nebulas. The ships, gates, etc are looking nice, if zoomed in or spinning at station, but while actively playing the game, I see no expansion but a balance patch/fix (which is exciting). |

This is joe the plumber in space here and this cost for decorations means either a) the feature simply won't be used or b) any use of this feature leads to deterioration of _real_ gameplay.
I'm with Zeta on that one. Medal system is nice i've been looking forward to it but it needs to be free. I'd like to implement campagin medals for our members but to issue them would cost us 1 billion isk to cover all members. Thats just dumb.
Also once a medal is created i can't find a way to either delete it or edit it. That option would be handy.
One last thing you have a nice cross picture on the decorations tab but u can't actually make any medals in the shape of a cross. Thats kinda lame considering most medals across the globe or in the form of a cross. Any chance u can give us that cross option plz. Yarrrrrrr |

Don't understand how people can say how good or bad this patch is after less than 24 hours Personally I think it was too much for one patch and really dont see all the new complications attracting new payers, what is the point of certificates. The more complicated you make things the less likely people will want to play. ITS A GAME and people want to Pew Pew I really dont care what certificates a corpie holds as long as he shows up in fleet and shoots stuff I also see lots of people leaving for other games
