Hi there
Downloaded rest beta Client from link posted here 1hr.47min renamed my existing client installed the Sing Beta client to have the message incompatible version so looked for conversion patch from TQ to Sing found link nothing there no patch to be found at the end pf the link. Can someone advise where this patch to make this supposedly easy straight forward connection for us Mac users to the Sing Server work please.
It would appear that the invitation is an empty one.

Maybe he foolishly looked at the sticky in the main forum and followed the instructions in it.
The fact that this isn't available yet is clearly advertised on the main forum shows a certain lack of sensible practice. You can troll the guy for not reading every thread of a geeky sub-forum rather than the clear instructions on the main page if you like, but information shouldn't be that hard to find.

Nothing new.
They've barricaded themselves once again under their 'terror rock of silence'.
You know what they say; 'no news is good news', then again that was probably what the Linux guys where thinking too.

I find it extremely disheartening to see the client's behavior deteriorate so much since last spring, and apparently little done to correct it. I play EVE a lot - mostly on my iMac, and have experienced all of the problems enumerated here and elsewhere. What disturbs me most at this point is that we don't have a beta client to test, with only 5 days to release. I would much rather have a stable client under Quantum Rise than any other shiny things at all. Random crashing/exceptions thrown/bizarre graphics does not make for a fun gaming experience. I also run the PC client under crossover, which works mostly, but would greatly prefer a decent Mac client.
I'm trying to stay optimistic about the new release, but given what we've seen so far am really not very encouraged.
