I think species in New Eden, descendants of humanity, that has the technologies to build warp drive that allows traveling faster than light, should have better scan technology than submarine sonar radar used by their ancestors centuries ago.
The 2-dimentional little radar screen at the right side of screen(F11) needs improvement. I think a good way to improve new user(and ver) experience is a 3-dimentional graphical representation of d-scan range and angle in the solar system map. A 3-D cone shape that changes its size and direction interactively with user input of direction, distance and angle will be a great scanning UI. Let me emphasis that it should not show any object that is searched for on the map but simply a visual representation of the d-scan coverage. The scan result will return same information as present. To get exact location of any object, user has to use scan probes or by estimation based on experience. It doesn't break game mechanic. It will be a great UI enhancing user experience.

Suggestion: bring back more broadcast toggle options Keywords: fleet, broadcast,

For pilots that may fly either logi and DPS, it'd be really nice to only have to change the dropdown list to toggle whether they're getting need rep/shield broadcasts or target ones instead... fairly sure this used to be an option, not sure why it's not ingame now. |

Dear CCP Karkur (and/or other fellow CCP Dudes and Dudets),
There is one thing I HATE more than cloakie campers and that's the damn overview. Every time I have issues with it, I end up rage quitting. When it works, it works well. The problem is setting up/modifying the darn thing which seems to take a degree in rocket science.
I usually end up in my pod or very close to it when the overview is not cooperating, which brings up another issue. The only way (at least that I know of) to change/manipulate the overview settings is TO BE OUT IN SPACE aka a sitting duck while getting their souls torn out by the overview settings window. ANd the only way to make sure it is working correctly is to fly around to sites/stations/POS/etc to visually verify.
I know the day I quit EVE will be because of the damn overview and, although I would like to keep playing EVE forever, there is only so much abuse one can take in a relationship before you snap and walk out the door. I don't consider myself computer illiterate and I enjoy customization but I HATE dealing with the current overview setting tools.
So if you can look at this between now and when I potentially quit EVE that would be great. o7 The Mittani of House GoonWaffe,-áFirst of His name, King of the Goons and VFK,-áMaster of griefing,-áLord of the CFC, Warden of the West,-áand Protector of Deklein. |

Suggestion: Grab all sliders anywhere, not just handle. Keywords: UI, quality of life Notes:Nicen Jehr wrote:( old post) The sliders in the UI are a holdover from a decade ago. You have to mousedown on the handle in order to set the slider. You can note this on the volume sliders in Escape menu, and angle slider on Dscan especially. (and now on advanced audio sliders.) A friendlier UI would be: you may mousedown anywhere on the slider to instantly move the handle to that coordinate. Dragging left or right would move continuously (the volume sliders) or discretely (d-scan angle.) (ofc, the discrete slider got done for the recently revamped dscan since this post.) This way you can click anywhere on the whole slider to initiate a drag to change the value, not just on the 5 pixel handle. Little Things to improve GëíGïüGëí-á| My Little Things posts |

Fancy dev, let me tell you about something you need to fix.
So when you pin a window, it fucks with the tint and tone of the window color and transparency.
Currently I have a very see through, darkish theme, and it's awesome. But I want the unpinned windows to be less transparrent than the pinned windows, currently it works the otherway around.
Either fix or add feature to flip it.
Heres a pic for example of issue.
http://i.imgur.com/mp1LcEL.jpg
Se how the unpinned windows blend and has no border for identification, if I pinned one of the unpinned, I could see the borders of it, but not be able to move it. (Unless I chose to be able to move pinned windows, but that kinda defeats pinning imo.)
Instead, it makes also more sense that windows you want to be static and part of everyday HUD like overview is more transparent and gives visual to everything behind it providing better peripheral vision, while windows you have to read more text in, has a more solid background and be move able, like a mail or wallet window you usually move around. Also, market unpinned like this is horrible.
uhh, yeah. so get on that please, thanks. (Otherwise I'll find some CSM dudes and start lobbying..) Or follow me on twitter: http://twitter.com/Dsan_dk |

Add an option to automatically repackage & stack unpackaged items been placed to out item hangar (like from striping a current ship fit). I like my item hangar to look clean and neat without having to manually repackage & stack items within short intervals. Containers would be excluded from this process.
This can be an option in settings in the form of a checkbox (completely optional) or you could add small icons to the item hangar window (like above the filter input box) for commencing the process on-demand with just one click.
Furthermore, a customizable right click menu for currently selected item(s) would be awesome. It is very annoying that the "repackage" option is right between the "reprocess" & "trash it" options...can produce very unfortunate accidents. |

- Suggestion: Split particle cloud effects and ship effects
- Keywords: effects
- Note: Particle clouds have been added to the effects toggle setting, but the toggle is too broad
--- I appreciate that you added particle clouds as a toggle option. In the process though the 'effects' toggle now covers too broad a range. I would love to see ship effects such as remote repping and neuting, but at the same time not be ensconced in a particle cloud - such as for sleeper sites. Would it be possible to split the effects toggle to separately change environment effects and ship module effects?
Thanks |

When duel boxing accounts in a fleet op you can not pre-select the jump bridge on both characters and do a simple one click "activate jump bridge" when the FC gives the green light to jump through. -Please and thank you. Suggestion: Disable local in non-station systems. Leave local the same in stationed systems.
Keywords: Game design, local chat, ui, mystery, gameplay, intel
Notes: There is a need for more mystery and fear. Expanding the wormhole style of no-local person identifier until someone talks in it should be applied to all of Eve's Non Space Stationed Systems. Any system with at least 1 station in it keeps local chat exactly the same as it functions in k-space presently. Any k-space system without at least 1 station shows no local chatlist of players in system. If a station is anchored in a system, local chat will show up. I want to create more mystery, but not completely nerf how people presently use the game. So to summarize... K-space station, local is present. k-space with no station, no local. This applies to nullsec, lowsec and highsec. Stabbers are totally broken

Add DED/COSMOS items to the market. Items like Stolen Goods. (This isn't needed if contracts would allow you to select an item and create a number of contracts for the like item. I.e. I have 34 stolen goods. Make contract and it auto creates 34 with each one having one item)

Suggestion: Snap to Grid facility for PI.
Motivation: Some of us are either extremely retentive or have OCD and get intensely annoyed that our industry facility is 2 pixels higher than it should be, and that we can't make nice, perfectly symmetrical patterns when we configure our layouts.
Technical: A geodesic grid, where each hex is big enough to encapsulate the diameter of a facility, would be perfectly fine and quite simple to implement for a suitably motivated developer. And this developer will be suitably motivated because he will get immense applause for this little feature. I would recommend a class I aperture 4 triangle hierarchy. |

Suggestion : add tick to disable chat in current window Keyword: Chat improvement Note:
By adding simple tick to a active chat window we can easily remove some annoying situations like jita local. When this item is ticked from active chat window you are removing ability to post any thing on current chat , and you also don't see what other people are saying. This setting will be separate for each chat window.
Why? - To remove annoying stuff like local scams in trade hubs - Save few inches on your screen when this really matters
