41. Another stab in the back - Cruise missile Nerf - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Logged back in and looked. It's now back to what it was before 7875 m/s which at 30 seconds flight time is 236km. Yet when I was firing at a war target earlier tonight, I was not hitting him at 180km. So maybe they screwed something up in the patc...

42. Another stab in the back - Cruise missile Nerf - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
If the implications it has for PVP are beyond you, then clearly you have some serious blind spots in your tactical doctrine. Suffice it to say that we often use extended cruise missile bombardment to drive snipers away from gates in empire warfare...

43. Another stab in the back - Cruise missile Nerf - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I think you both better report to Eve Uni right quick, cause apparently you cannot read. I didn't say I was quitting. I'll be here til the game dies, which isn't long from the look of things. Reading Comprehension FTW. And feel free to contract ...

44. Another stab in the back - Cruise missile Nerf - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: Silentbrick on 19/11/2007 02:25:23 Just fair warning to all Raven pilots or cruise missile users. Check your range. With the last patch, top speed of cruise missiles has dropped 2,000 m/s. I have Caldari Battleship 5, Missile Bomba...

47. Question - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Here's the deal. Some of RK has been amusing themselves by flipping the cans of our students and then rushing to show up in battlecruisers or T2 fitted Vexors. Now admittedly we've only lost a few ships compared to the RK guys doing it, but that's...

48. Privateers, back and open for bid'ness - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Hmmmm, I wonder if this means that Eve Uni and the Ivy League will see another dec from the Privateers. Not that we want one mind you, but it's usually pretty amusing.

49. New Fleet Tactics - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
The Uni's fleet battle was a day or two after the patch I believe. About 1/2 the petitions did get reimbursed after the second go round, all were intially denied I think, until I told them to point out that on one side you have our ships, not shoo...

50. New Fleet Tactics - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
I'm of the opinion there is some sort of exploit being used to cause these types of things. We had it happen to a Uni fleet as well. One domi jumps into our large bubble and we engage, then as our far side scout reports allies of the Domi arriving...

51. Taunt the Uni at your own risk - We're Crazy - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
I was toddling around in our home system, chatting when a call asking for help went out on corp chat. It seems that far far away, in Amarr space an ore thief was harassing some of our students. So Ubercado and I, along with some other nearby Uni m...

52. Eve University Helps New Players! Student & Faculty Spots Open - in Alliance and Corporation Recruitment Center [original thread]
I was just a wee little miner when I joined Eve Uni, and I grew up and became a huge carebear! Virtually everything I know about EVE, I learned in Eve Uni. Anyone who says I'm not a carebear is lying. Really. I'm all fuzzy and cuddly!

53. Pirates complain about blobing, but... - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
I'm always amused when people accuse Eve University of Blobbing them. It's very manly to complain about the noobs killing you when in order for that to happen, you had to pick on them. Poke a noob at your own risk. They're dangerous in packs. Sil...

54. Spies in Eve University - Is there really a point? - in Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions [original thread]
Edited by: Silentbrick on 30/04/2007 21:49:54 First off, let me explain I totally understand and accept the legitimate use of espoinage in EVE. Spies and counterspying is understandably necessary in EVE, especially in regards to 0.0 politics a...
