Well, unless it was SuperTwinkey doing them! In any case, some of us decided that when stuff happens we'll send some lines, complaining about it and doing nothing won't bring us anywhere. -clp

It is quite simple yes - It was leading up to Apocrypha, where im sure most of the efforts were spent on the story line. In addition if someone from the aforementioned parties can post here saying 'I sent a mail to ISD to report this...' then i will retract what iv said - as i know for a fact BoB emailed ISD whenever anything major goes down. This isn't intended to be damning evidence just a little something to stack up against the rest, but when RAWR dabbled in faction warfare I sent the embedded reporter assigned to the Caldari Militia a mail all about what we were doing. I linked him our detailed in-character roleplayed forum post (now on a deleted long forgotten roleplay forum). I figured I'd at least get an acklowledgement, a thank-you for going out of my way (in character that is) to give the media the inside scoop on our usully extremely secretive military. Maybe he was ill or absent, except he wasn't. He logged on a lot some days later only by now our FW plans were being unwound as MAX was begining and we quietely dropped the whole idea. Hence I didn't actually want to talk to him, but it was still surpising he never acknowledged me. A couple weeks later I was even more surprised as this news article was published: Alliances Involved In Militia Politics ending with: Quote: Jade Constantine hinted that Morsus Mihi and Ushra'Khan may be pursuing similar courses of action. Interstellar Correspondents is investigating these rumors and will follow up accordingly. I guess Jade read our press release on the official alliance roleplay forum, but ISD never got the memo through either channel. As I said it's just circumstantial, all it really proves is they had a dud Caldari militia reporter and didn't read the IC alliance forum. ...

Again I'll admit I should have mailed the general address but didn't. I was aiming for a more personal touch since Magnus authored the article and was one of the more prolific writers at the time. I guess I trusted him too much, or maybe he went absent right after writing the article. Again, it's circumstantial. Either way I didn't get so much as an acknowledgement, yet again. After these and a few more failed attempts by others in RAWR we just don't bother anymore. I don't mind not getting a news article when we provide a lead, but when you try to support the ISD and your mails may well have gone unread for all you know... what's the incentive to keep wasting your time. ISD have contacted us once.. or twice in the past and we've played along and made it easy for them, but that was back in 2007. Maybe we're doing it wrong, maybe we should care more and keep spamming the blackhole, but we don't, and the result is biased news. My hunch is GoonSwarm's approach is the exact opposite to ours and yet they get ignored too. BoB are better than us at submitting leads shrug _

SK Rooster Gallente No Trademark	Posted - 2009.03.18 18:30:00 - [148] well my last post got moderated for god knows what reason so im posting it again: ISD whatever his name is has made is painfully simple: 1. if you think something is not accurate, dont whine about it on forums, report it to proper people 2. if you think important events are not being reported, step and and apply for the ISD yourself then you can help do the reporting they are a VOLUNTEER force so you cannot expect them to put out a story for everything, and if you want your stories out there maybe write one yourself and submit it to them PS cry more goons, PL and NC
