"One version of it at least, leaving out a few details like Hardgay"
What did Hardgay have to do with any of it? Half the alliance leadership shot the **** in that channel. Its a fun place to smack talk and unwind with the more interesting reds of Eve. It was a public channel that anyone could join, until IRC decided it was some diabolical spy network so they got the boot. It is still a wide open channel that anyone can join. Perhaps when you are out of IRC you can stop on by and give us crap, it is what the channel exists for. That is an open invite for any of you lot.

For over a month no one in IRC bothered to audit the access rights and go over whatever rights Saba has added (specially after TITTS got kicked out and set red). Thats something that should be done once every month or so, but also has to be done after a director leaves or you're about to go into war. No one did it so you get to see the results.

This really,
Admittedly I was an IRC peon and absolutely not in the know about anything from HC but even I could see that security was lax to the point of neglect.
Which is really amazing to me considering how much tin foil hattery (amiusingitrite?) there was going on in alliance leadership. To kick out corps based on rumors (never believe anything you read on THE INTERNET) and then not do the basic security housekeeping to keep members of said corp from having access to the majority of the alliances assets is a pretty fail arrangement of priorities.

"For over a month no one in IRC bothered to audit the access rights and go over whatever rights Saba has added"
It is funny you should mention that. I figure since its all over now I can fill in a little more. The alt that did the theft had been added months ago to help Saba fuel POSes and hand out Dreads/Fuel for OPs since most AWE directors were never on or available.
This alt did originally have the hangar access AND things like POS management.
Fast forward to two weeks before the theft when TITTS and Saba were already long gone. AWE ordered a security sweep. It got done. The alt in question DID have the POS roles rights removed. This is actually a good thing or that Levithan that Thrawn flies around would have been aborted. Anyway, whoever did the security sweep didn't bother doing a hangar access check. So much for real security.
The rest is history. Classic IRC leadership follow through and competence.

Hard to call it a betrayal when TITTS were *red* to IRC for over a *month*.
Even 1-2 days should be enough for a corp to plug in possible holes left by ex-directors. Lists of people and alts who have access to secure hangers should be managed and compared to the actual access lists at least every couple of weeks, specially if you're the executor of your alliance.
If Saba would have done it while he was an AWE director then sure, he betrayed his corp and you can call him whatever you want. But if almost a month has passed since he (and his alts) were supposedly stripped of any directorial roles and secure access its hardly a betrayal.

Fair do's IRC hc fecked ya's over but i do belive that IRC paid ya's back the money for the station you's dropped ( plz correct me if i'm wrong, not having a dig here just stating what I had heard , but what u's then did to get back at Oldma/Kami etc was to punish all the good lads and lasses that were in IRC
And yes farham you can point and say i'm now shooting IRC, but I think u'll find that mamba left IRC when they couldnt put up with the bs any longer and got nothing for thier station due to what someone else did when they left and lost all thier titan components into the bargain, I went with mamba but thier new home wasn't quite for me and now as you pointed out I moved on from mamba and joined a group of pilots who now just happen to be shooting irc, if you knew about who I had flown with in the past, you would see why I have went were I did for me it's nothing personal it's just pew pew, for your fella's it just seems kinda sad and bitter, which is a shame as you's had some nice idea's and stuff, but meh this internet spaceships is serious stuff.

You are right on one point. There are some good folks still left in IRC.
However, they chose to back and continue to support a leadership group that got them into the mess which ended up having unfortunate consequences.

But as far as the leadership lying comments go, i really wouldnt be surprised. The 'high command' as they call themselves seem to try and control everything, even going a far as kicking out and silencing FC's in the middle of ops.
I remember last sunday when vixit was doing a great job FC'ing a 250 man mixed alliance fleet in R-6. He had the scouts out, BS positioned nicely, support on the bubbled ingate ready to hold down the enemy.
Then he started getting cut off on comms buy someone with channel command trying to tell him how to do his job Kami .
he explained to us on coms what was going on, then got booted and banned from vent and kicked from fleet, right in the middle of the op....
anyway, il probably get kicked for posting this, as much as i want to stay to the end (i like my corp, the directors know what they are about, would recomend to anyone).
My opinion is shared both spoken and silently by quite a few in the alliance.
I'm not big on posting here - but every now and then I have to say, "I told you so." I am not necessarily happy about what my TITTs brosefs did, but I'm not going to disavow their actions. The way I see it, IRC HC had a choice between having Farham, Saba, Shard and the other TITTS as FCs and cap pilots and having Kami. Our only crime, while we were in IRC, was being outspoken. After Kami pulled a typical stunt, I sent an alliance mail thrashing him for it (tact has never been my strong point). Now, IRC has this policy that if you do anything wrong, you owe Dib more ISK. In this case, what I did wrong was criticize an overbearing FC who didn't know his head from his ass and then tried to take credit for a very important alarm clock op that he didn't plan and didn't bother to show up for. Like a good little alliance member, I paid my fine. And sent Old and Dib this reply: ---- Gentlemen, I will gladly pay 100 million ISK to get my message out to the whole alliance. I will gladly pay the alliance 2 billion ISK more if Kami is removed from all leadership and FC roles. This is a sincere offer. I care more for the alliance than I do for my ISK. Q ----
Of course, they made their choice. They chose Kami. Who is now leading them blissfully down the river of fail. No surprise there. To my old friends in IRC, I feel for you. If you'd had the balls to stand up to your leadership in the past, you wouldn't be suffering from their incompetence now. Out.

Ever? No. Most every alliance is going to go belly up after some amount of time.
I can tell you that the theft would never have happened and our being connected with various entities around 0.0 we would have sniffed out the Goons reaction to a real invasion of Insmother, advising strongly against. Before we left Saba was working very closely with Zapawork, the now head Goon, to coordinate efforts to get IRC smack dab in Tenerifis front backing up Xdeath. This would likely have spelled out a far different "today" than IRC has now.
Unfortunately, IRC HC had other ideas and the rest is history.

Yeh, I know. I used to hang out in it to try to understand what all the emo was about & still do occasionally. I was a little suprised when you originally left IRC, and where you went, and when you rejoined. That got me curious, along with your reaction to the RA thing. As I've already said, methinks you doth protest too much.
Problem is your story is falling apart under cross examination.
You felt betrayed by accusations of disloyalty or spying and yet events have proven that to be correct and confirmed by mittens-
Now we had some influence, a card I could play. I sent word through Gobblock, our now-burned spy
Yet the now-burned spy was Saba with the sadly deceased Simply Sky. So a high level GIA spy in place who either failed to report what was supposedly being planned against RA, or GIA chose to ignore it, or there's some other variation on the truth.
You talk about being saddened or angry by your treatment and wanting a 'clean break'. With compensation of course, and a stay-behind, just in case. Seems to me like Dibre and Graalum were correct after all.
So either you got played, or you played us. You've done well out of your theft of course.
Still, there's a few things missing. Our 'humiliating' withdrawl for example. Faced with the standings reset, seemed a sensible idea. Mitten's also missed off the ultimatum against our allies and I don't think it's embarrassing or humiliating to want to defend them. Or even continue fighting against the once mighty RA (plus friends).
Best one though is perhaps why you managed to steal so much. After all, there were the instructions to build up the fleet ready for the Tenerifs campaign. RA's actions hampered their deployment, then you confiscated them. I'm sure GBC will be greatful to you for deflecting so much NC resource into dealing with what should have stayed a domestic issue.
Still, if it were all about helping RA increase their rental income, the plan's worked out ok for you. Other than perhaps demonstrating RA's weakness or complacency, which Mittens again confirmed.

Are you slow or something?
"You felt betrayed by accusations of disloyalty or spying and yet events have proven that to be correct and confirmed by mittens-"
Events only proved that AFTER we got betrayed, we wanted and got payback. There was no plot, no plan, no GIA operative, no nothing before that day towers were spammed in our station system. Our only plan up until that day was to secure a few more high end moons for IRC, start ramping up our EXTREMELY PROFITABLE capital parts corp building program we had going and try and push the idea that IRC would be smart to fight in Tenerifis...that's it.
The most ironic thing about what transpired in all of this glorious EVE clusterf*** is that the last thing we needed up until the day we got crossed was for IRC to do anything but stay alive and prosper. We were set up to make internet Eve billions.
Internet Billions is serious business.

well if so then sure say I live wherever you think I live and I probably behave exactly how you think I behave more over I am just the type of person you assume me to be.

Not only are you posting, you're terrible because you are posting mindlessly, ie you have no idea what is going on behind the scenes.

Lol, wow. Here is what you should type in response:
Dear Moron,
I highly doubt posting in CAOD can further tarnish the reputation of an Alliance beyond what poor judgment and failed leadership has already done. Despite your delusions that we are somehow still respected as an alliance by the Eve community, the truth is something other than what you have contrived in your mind. I will continue to post as usual until such time as I am mercifully removed from this utter failure of an alliance. I will look forward to seeing you as you enjoy your new home in Empire. Also, please remember to remove all access and rights that I may currently maintain as we are all aware of the utter success you have had in ensuring that members are removed properly.
