They are posting just what they were told after the fact, since they have no direct knowledge of how IRC has had an (ill advised) hard-on against RA since last September. I don't see posts on here from oldma (har), Dibrle, Nutra, Thrawntl, Koroc or Pantheras. They were the only ones that know what really happened, and the whole history of the "let's attack RA!" meme within IRC leadership. The rest of these IRC guys are just blowing smoke.

The 'high command' as they call themselves seem to try and control everything, even going a far as kicking out and silencing FC's in the middle of ops. I remember last sunday when vixit was doing a great job FC'ing a 250 man mixed alliance fleet in R-6. He had the scouts out, BS positioned nicely, support on the bubbled ingate ready to hold down the enemy. Then he started getting cut off on comms buy someone with channel command trying to tell him how to do his jobKami. he explained to us on coms what was going on, then got booted and banned from vent and kicked from fleet, right in the middle of the op.... anyway, il probably get kicked for posting this, as much as i want to stay to the end (i like my corp, the directors know what they are about, would recomend to anyone). My opinion is shared both spoken and silently by quite a few in the alliance. After ME lost 11 Dreads (and we got our revenge with a MOM, Titan, 7 carriers and 15 Dreads) I.M.M. Hawkeye or something contacted every dread pilot in our alliance asking them to defect. Actually, one of his corpies convo'd me to ask if I want to buy Hawkeyes corpse. All dread pilots were promised new Dreads and even MOMs. Every CEO wanted to defect then We have been in a few wars but the smack level is even for me to high atm. So one question remains: U Mad?

Pretty sure the heist was coordinated by multiple different people, so depending on who was posting and how much information they knew about what other people managed to grab would cause different accounts of the overall amount. Either way, what the heck does it matter? There have been multiple screenshots posted and it's been pretty much confirmed on multiple levels, so what's the point in bickering about it? Either way it was definitely a pretty significant blow and from the sounds of Seba's most recent post it will continue to be significant (ie: when their stolen capfleet gets used for the enemy's advantage)

Maybe if you look at the size of the average jump freighter and then look at the size of all that crap you will realize it takes quite a few trips to get it all out so then maybe one could assume that the number will change over time as more and more of it gets out....... The importance of the issue is the caps being stolen and I do agree, it is a hard blow. This my little friend is where jump freighters come in. If more info is required on how the magic jump freighters can make items in IRC space disappear there and reappear in jita to the most oppotune buy orders or on contracts I would be glad to teach you some more. Also, it helps when you dont oversnip the text while quoting someone, see you kep that one guys quote in there while snipping my name out and the little bracket to seperate em. just trying to help little guy. So I will start from the beginning You see a 200 bil theft is all good and dandy but is worth next to nothing to gobbloc (<3 gobb) or anyone else involved while it is sitting in IRC space. He can either sell assets back to IRC (that would be bad because IRC is mean and attacked russian broskis) sell it to other people that had access to the stations or people that thought they would have access to the stations soon (Hi NC and RA) the final option is to evac the stuff from 0.0 now some of it was BPO's and BPC's (god who invents at that horrible me rate) and for some a noobship is the best method for evacing this stuff amirite? However because you cant make it all in one trip the value that has succesfully been sold off or atleast gotten out of the ebil IRC space will change over time, in fact it will actually change each time a jump freighter filled with noobi loot makes it back to empire.
