Well im glad things at BIG got resolved.
Today is the last day of the auction, so keep on bidding. When the auction is done, i will be contacting the winner, and tell when to send the isk.

After paying the 750 million isk I still have not recieved the character. Axee told me that upon the transfer he was notified there would be a 24 hour wait.... well 38 hours latter and 2 server re-boots latter I am a bit worried. Being that this auction was sanctioned by a BIG member, and verified by the BIG CEO herself, i rest assured that this will all fall into place.
Perhaps ot could be that it was done durring the weekend and they wont be able to completer the transfer until monday. Given all the possible things that could go wrong I undersand the reluctance of corporations such as BIG to become involved, I am grateful that at least this time BIG has played the middle man in my transaction. With millions of isk at stake here the only comfort I have is that BIG is the medium.
Hopefuly this will all pan out in the next 24 hours.

There is no delay when transferring a character. It apprears on the other account instantly.
I take it you used a BIG representative to HOLD the isk till the character was confirmed as being on your account?

Yes the isk was held by Tion, who is supposedly the sellers real life friend.It is now monday morning and a 3rd server re-boot with no character showing up. I have done this in the past with no problems such as this. Also i am worried that the seller has not followed up on this forum to contest any of these possibilities. I will give it another 12 hours to go through...if it has not i will appeal to BIG for mediation. I sincearly hope this is just a delay on CCP's part, after all I just want the character.

Same has happened to me, Sux for all of us. I wanna sell my 16 mil skill char for isk too and its gonna be hard to find people who will trust char sellers anymore :(. I understand scamming is allowed in eve but scamming things like this shouldnt be allowed imho.
But hey my opinion is nothing :P. Hope that you get your isk back mate.

I find it hard to believe that a corporation as large as BIG (no pun intended) would risk their reputation on a measly 750 mil. I know 750 mil is a LOT to individual players, but to a large corporation, it's peanuts. BIG would have to be insane not to pay Fret back the isk if this was indeed an inside scam where a BIG member (ex-BIG member after this I would assume) pulled the wool over their eyes.
