First of all...Waaaay too much whining for a game thats up 23hrs a day and "OCCASIONALLY" down for a patch...I just came back to EVE after 2 1/2 years of WOW Hell...yes I said WOW and you can make fun of it...you want to talk about server shutdowns, bad patches, insane msgs about we'll be back up soon...GO THERE...fact that CCP even updates the "We will be back at so-and-so hour" is 10000000.9% more than Blizzard does...
Fact is I came back to a REAL game...a game that requires you to actually think and work your ass off to get anywhere, which WoW isnt...not by a longshot...so stop complaining.....If you want a real reason to complain, go play WOW and watch your battlegroup go down for 24-48hrs or wonder why there's no update but 7million forums posts and QQ's about why its not up...or better yet, Call their customer service when you have a REAL problem and be told you cant even be put on hold for 6 hours(which is avg) cause the 1 Indian guy answering the phones went to lunch.

Worked for like 8 hours, watched last mad men episode, washed my dishes, made laundry, had some phone calls, watched two new episodes of House (w/out my wife : man, i'm so cheezy :( ), made food, ate food, opened my bills, saved them for later, watched some boat crash accidents on youtube (i'm so lame), had a yogurt, had a coffee, had some cognac...
Now what ?

Ok, its no fun waiting for EVE to come back online after a less then successful patching, imo EVE still has a better online record then most other MMOs ive played. Besides it would be a much bigger pain if they took EVE down after it has been up for an hour or 2

hmmm... for the first time ever, I have just joined a pay to play server and quite frankly, I am grossly disappointed! For an official pay to play server to have to be down for so long is outrageous!
Do the Devs of Eve not yet know that you TEST TEST and TEST again on another server before doing this to their PAYING clients on a live server? Simply not cricket Lads!
