1: When the overview is stacked with the scanner window, the scanner always defaults to the top when undocking. It should stay where it was (i.e. behind) when I docked.
2: a checkbox to buy items from the market straight into a ship fitting slot on the current ship. I don't want to hunt for the item in my hangar to fit it.
3: drag and drop my market orders into the position I want them, adjusting the price accordingly (i.e. 0.01 below/above the order I am replacing)
4: secondary sort keys for all types of windows, or "stable sorting." When I click market buys "sort by price" then "sort by jumps" the cheapest item in my current location should be at the top, immediately followed by the rest of the items in the current station, sorted by price, followed by items in the next nearest station.

My clone costs 13,000,000 ISK. The frigate I want to take out on a suicide run costs me 5M ISK, fully fitted.* This is dumb. Clone costs at higher SP levels start to discourage fighting. Lower them.

I go to my character sheet, and it says "Pilot's License in order." What the hell does that mean, other than that I am subscribed? Put the days remaining on the sub in there so I know if I need to go buy a PLEX. |

The sliders in the UI are a holdover from a decade ago. You have to mousedown on the handle in order to set the slider. You can note this on the volume sliders in Escape menu, and angle slider on Dscan especially.
A friendlier UI would be: you may mousedown anywhere on the slider to instantly move the handle to that coordinate. Dragging left or right would move continuously (the volume sliders) or discretely (d-scan angle.)
This way you can click anywhere on the whole slider to initiate a drag to change the value, not just on the 5 pixel handle.
Oh and the dscan angle ticks for 5', 15' and 30' are RIGHT on top of each other. If you put on a costume, arm yourself, and kill people in the name of your god, you're a terrorist. If you do the same thing in the name of a flag, you're a patriot. |

Change the minimum height of the input area in chat boxes to 1em [one line height] plus any necessary padding. It is currently 2em so there is wasted screen real estate. I would prefer shrinking my input box to 1em. I would rather see more of the channel than my own chat message. Drone Control Window:
Stop automatically expanding and collapsing drone groups in the drone control window.
I try to keep the drone window as small as possible so it doesn't steal space from the overview. I see no benefit to my drone group auto-expanding when I recall my drones. All it does is push my "Drones in local space" group down to where I have to scroll to see the ones on the bottom. I sometimes lose drones because I don't see them taking damage. |

Identify which module is active on a target. (This might not be a "little change")
For example, if you have 2 warp scramblers and three targets locked A, B and C. You have targets A and B scrambled but want to release target A and scramble target C. The problem is you don't know which scrambler is on target A.
You could simply CTRL+SHIFT+CLICK target A and unlock them, but perhaps I have another module active on target A like a web or something.
Numbers may be too difficult to see, maybe a colored dot would be better. Or possibly a UI option to replace the small module icon next to the target with a colored dot that corresponds to the same colored dot which could be placed by the module in your rack. |

Inventory:
Remove the inventory feature that switches the main inventory window if you hover over the category.
Like if you are dragging drones from your hanger into your active ships drone bay. If I hover for too long over the drone bay the main window switches from my hanger to my drone bay.
I don't see how this is useful at all. If i want to look inside the drone bay I will click on it after i complete the drag-n-drop.
Expanding the category makes sense. But switching the main view... I can't think of a situation where that is actually helpful. It is a constant annoyance. I am simply trying to carefully drag things into the correct location. |

Having some kind of option to input AU's into dscan, without having to know the conversions for AU=km. But keeping km as well, for more accurate short distance readings.
It's a bit of a pain, when living in a wormhole I like to lick things.

Market stuff.
I love the change that price is selected by default on modify order so I don't have to do Ctrl-A anymore before writing the new price, but could you make it so that the mouse scroll wheel would do it's thing too. It works fine when the cursor is in the inputbox but no characters are selected.
Related, when making a new sell order the price is not selected by default.
Less related, on the blue my orders double click could open modify order or at least have the modify order appear before before the buy option. It's quite rare I want to buy from my own order. |

Except people can manipulate this and log in every now and then with their forum alts, then log out immediately again. To solve this issue: Post last Log-in and Log-out below Likes Received. But then, this can also be manipulated by people logging their forum alts in while not actually able to play EVE (headed to school, going shopping, going to the cinema, etc.) and then logging out and logging on to their mains when they're able to actually play. |

You can approximate this by creating a filter with settings:
GROUP | IS NOT | CHARGE | ALL
When you turn this filter on, it will show everything that isn't a 'charge' which includes at least scripts, cap boosters, probes, and ammo. If you put on a costume, arm yourself, and kill people in the name of your god, you're a terrorist. If you do the same thing in the name of a flag, you're a patriot. |

Allow us to position the camera so we are looking straight down. Currently, both in space and in station hangar, the highest you can get the camera is 5 degrees or so from vertical. If one wants to move straight down, you have to spin the camera around like a maniac and try and identify which star doesn't move and double click on it. It's been mentioned before, but I second the ability to identify which hardpoint slot shows up where on my ship.
And please, for the love of Empress Jamyl, give me a way to edit a route I create. There's no reason I shouldn't be able to update my route as I go, set multiple waypoints to the same place, etc if it's not a coding constraint. So if possible, PLEASE DO! There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency. |
