Got the patch, tried installing it, got to the resSND.stuff file and got a invalid checksum, patch could not be installed!! Argh!! site? Anyone got a link for the resSND apart from Eve?

For those of you trying bittorrent - if it looks like it's just sat there doing nothing, give it 10 minutes.
Mine sat there doing nothing for ages, and now it's maxxing out my connection... yaay!
Bitlord looks quite handy as well, but I wouldn't advise it for the youngsters, what with the XXX chat button :)

Uploaded by a corp mate and it was just halfway uploaded while my azures at home finally kicked in. Checked the file using the torrent.

We're all used to it by this stage. 
Myself, I'm on a 56k, with a download which is running at about .8kb/sec. I'm alright with that... =)

Stop whining..patches are always hectic. This is what happens when you try running the game AND try to satisfy the adicted eveplayers that need to download the patch. Just sit back do something else and after 24 hours try downloading the patch.
Seriously it will save a lot of stress and you download the patch fast and clean and if you log in you won't suffer EXTREME lag. I didn't even download the patch but i know from expirience that lag will freak you out when you enter the game.
Yes, patchday is always like this and the only thing im hoping for is that after the patch the servers are stabile.

Whoever said use Bitlord, you are a saint. Working great for me, even though the normal BT client/HTTP did not. Google it and DL from Download.com.
And seed when you're done.

I've downloaded the patch about five times, and every time I'm 'unable to verify version'. 
Heck, if I ever get it, I'll mirror for as long as my monthly 20 GB lasts. Probably less that one hour.

Grabbed the first file in 20 minutes, it did not work. filed a snafu with support. Trashed the file after getting lotsof errors. Got the new seed that was called the same as the old corrupt seed and surprise, it not worked either. no point in uploading something that does not work. when I get a copy that does work will keep it seeding overnight.
Currently 5 seeds, 4 peers on the Oveur endorsed link. Using Azeureus with a non standard port seems to help lots. Should be finished in 10-15 minutes
Edit:-
Could not patch the file because the size or checksum of the file is invalid
The patch has NOT been applied, there was an unexpected error applying the patch (patch version could not be determined)
Gosh, what a surprise ! There is a snafu, will wait for the devs to check out what should have been checked first time round and get it via the game updater in a day or so....

Use Download Accelerator Pro. Google it and download the program. Then, you can right-click the different mirrors that have been posted, click "download using DAP", "add URL to download sites", and download from all of them at once. The download will still have interruptions but you can just press "switch site" in DAP and keep downloading.

I just have to say I'm pretty dissapointed with the way this whole patch "SHOW" is run. I don't care if every patch day is like this. I pay by the month which means I'm paying right now, which means I should be able to play WHENEVER I WANT.
Don't tell me to go do something else for a little while cause I don't WANT to do anything else. After a couple years of this you'd think the smart people that came up with such a brilliant game would have a more streamlined patching system. I could go on and on but...just get some more servers hosting the patch and shut up with yer "go do something else" line. I'm waiting...again.

Pirates Bay working great. Couldn't get the normal client to work so I downloaded the BitLord client. Getting 335KB/s on download and about 100 on upload. Thanks for putting this information up, I was http downloading at 0.8k/s. Good stuff.

Tried Bitorrent all day - the damn thing juts wont connect to anything.
Now suddenly - BOOM, i got 3 dozen peers and im downloading 150kb/s. I use just plain Bittorent client. My point is that something IS wrong with it, was wrong and I didnt do anything. Probably you just can't connect to server to get initial info for turrent. So just wait ppl. It's working perfectly once you get into the peers network.

Ppl keep coming like an avalanche, im uploading 80kb/s
