for the "patch has not been applied there was an unexpected error applying the patch (patch version could not be determined" Error
I had this happen too. What I did was tried it again. I didnt click the OK button this time when the error popped up that stated "Error opening patch file, could be caused by disk error. I left that error opened and the patch installed behind it anyways.

Try to 100ms/s downloads ive been trying for 4 hours and getting stuck just tried zurvons mirror and its downloading steady at 56k/s ;)

Does CCP really endorse the torrent from piratebay.org? Right next to the EVE torrent is a listing for the full version of GTA3 - good to know you guys support software piracy. |

Im pulling about 0.7kb / sec (yes thats right 700 bytes) a second on a 56k line dial up modem. Most of the mirrors are down or not working. 10 hours left to download - mmm need to consider broadband must say now that a lot of users have the patch the bandwidth speed is increasing.

I was just going to DL it from the UK using the "official" mirrors, but realized I could probably jog there to get the SOON(tm) shirt and back home to Central California by the time it's 50%. Thanks Z!

Trying desperatly to get the patch, we have a server ready to help out with the load but no patch to post....As soon as I get it we'll post it here for you all...we get 10gig transfer per day.
Oh and its a USA server too...not seen a mirror from here yet.

Jygar try to retype your name and pass again.I had it set to remember name and pass and it happen to me too.But when i typed it again manualy it works just fine...
EDIT: btw CCP does you ever heard about fileplanet.com,gamershell.com,fileshack or somethin?if you have trouble with your own mirrors i bet companies like that could handle it...btw not that i "like" fileplanet but they got almost everything and servers are fast...
Just next time try to ask them

another great patch day pirate bay is rollin at 22kb 13% done ill leave open as well,hope other bit users are as well  well my DL is done 10mins wasent bad seedin now..

thats why they say long range skill patch isnt realised until an hour or so the server goes live - those on high speed cable might get lucky. Then the big patch of users all trying the download starts again - takes a while to get mirrors up. Up to 10 mirros would be a better idea whats 60k users x 60MB ? we are talking about 3600 GB of data that needs to be transferred here so its quite a bit - i have patience it seems to be working now that most euro players have got to bed. Aussie should have an easier time of it. An australian / nz download site would be good china isnt working

Odd the link from Zuran(?) shows as 3366-3543 and the file from CCP is caled 3366-3542 yet both are the same file and same size and both of them are loosing to BT in transferrate. When did BT become faster then direct DL?

i have downloaded the patch using bitorrent and double clicked the icon and the computer has installed it.when i connect it says patching like it did before.can anyone help?
