What a scam EON has been, feed our important players in Europe, screw the US.
They have had it in some places for a week now. CCP this sux, I mean WTF, total BS.
If it doesn't show up tomorrow I'm going to cancel my YEAR subscription, period.
Somebody needs to Edit the Wiki for EVE, CCP = Couldn't Care People.
Oh btw go ahead and DEL this because I know you are not tough enough to handle the truth. |

I also ordered a year's subscription but this shipping situation NEEDS to be fixed. Figure out a way to either let us pay a few dollars more for FEDEX 3-day worldwide shipping or something. The price for shipping was already really high for a magazine, and yet it is almost 2 weeks later and still no magazine here in NC.
Please figure out something better for the next go-round!

Yeah, because the US Postal Service is just a shining paragon of reliability. The mailmen are certifiable, the letters give you anthrax, and that's when they don't get lost in the mail system for 60 years. Don't be so quick to blame CCP ;)

If you had bothered reading the topic you'd seen that lots of people in Europe haven't received the mag yet. I guess the "OMGZCRY" button was too shinny though.

Yeah, blame CCP, and ignore the national postal services :D
As Istvaan said, it's of course logical to blame a company that has nothing to do with in country delivery.
And to the one who mentioned fed-ex - they can say what they want, they don't deliver anywhere.... Never seen any van around here, or advert, for that matter.

Still no copy here in Queensland, Australia.... 2 weeks is a VERY long wait for such an item though. The Australian Postal Service isnt that useless, im sure.

It would've been way better if CCP had not set our expectations so high. Perhaps an official statement from them that would read something like this:
"While we can understand your fustration for waiting so long, we donÆt have any idea when you will receive your Premier issue of EON, therefore you just need to remember that you will get it when we are damn well ready to release it and then you will have to wait a fortnight for your suck <bleep> national postal service to decide when they want to deliver it.ö
Little axiom of business that will lead to success, under promise and over deliver.

btw - I sell on eBay and Amazon all the time. We use the USPS. They don't "suck", they are actually a very reliable and expedient. Price for pound they are the winner and they are still the market leader in this country Somebody at CCP please read this. |

Well, got mine yesterday.
I liked the IC discussions with pod-pilots and the 'adverts' for in-game alliances & services, but I have to say that overall I'm disappointed. It's very *shiny*, but frankly I found it to be extremely lightweight for the cost and for my liking there was too much on the chronicles/fiction side. Price I guess will be high because it is very much a 'niche' product.
No real hard stories about what's going on or has gone on in Eve, and while the 'beginners guide to...' parts were informative enough I suppose, how many people getting this magazine are complete newbies that don't know what a BM is...?
Ah well, I subscribed for a year - looking forward to issue #2 anywayz

Content: Very Good, not gonna spoil what was in it for the ones who didn't have it.
Quality - price: Very BAD -One thing what in my oppinion is unacceptable is on the last page a commercial from Alienware. Who the hell puts that on a collectors item!!! and on a 15$ magazine?
-The quality of the cover is the one of a regular magazine here in belgium, and is not what i expexted at all from a 15$ magazine. a carton cover really would have made it a collectors item. now its 'just' an expensive magazine.
when my subscription ends and they still have no stronger cover i'm quiting it very honestly. contenwise very nice magazine ok, but when i pay 15dollars for 65 pages i want it to be properly protected.
For postal services wise..., i'd say a 2weeks waiting period isn't to long if i read the forums here. this is not CCP's fault, just an underestimated problem from local postal distribution. i had a letter once from america in 2days to belgium here, sometimes its 3weeks, dont ask me why, it just happens.
anyway, i'd like to say keep going on the mag good work, but you need much more improvement on the durability factor imo. whats the use of printing on HQ paper if thats not protected?
just my 2cents, Jude Law out, Peace!

Denmark, still nothing - should have been shipped two weeks ago from London, correct?
I Usually order alot of books from London, because of my studies - takes five days to get here. Now a mag should take 14 days - I dare say I will not see it - oh and I orderd a full year sub.
Iam actually willing to bet isk on this...

Houston, Texas and nothing here yet.
Perhaps a fire should be lit under someone so we can all get E-ON at about the same time.
