Does anybody know how they mail the mag? Does it go airmail or normal by donkey route?
If so then i'll have to get the Portugese Drug barons to ship it down in their caravels to down here in za.
That or fund a "Discovery" mission from the top of the nile to the bottom of the victoria falls.
baah i just want my mag but i have a feeling it's gonna take a while compared to the rest of the world.
Anybody from Aus get their yet?

Did order rather late, when shipping had already started, but got my e-on yesterday by airmail.
Have only browsed it so far, but am really tempted to pay a subscription. Looks very nice.
You should have seens my wife's face when she found out that there's now even an eve magazine, to help me thru offline times.

People in France, Belgium etc have not received it yet...surprising since it ships from London (AFAIK). I am in US and havent received it yet and reading about it here is getting me more and more excited to read it!

Got mine just now, and I've got to say its way more professional than most game magazines I've seen. It has a lot to do with the composition, and quality of the images.
First thing I turned to was the HAC guide and was blown away by the nice high-resolution multi camera-angle shots.. definitely makes me look forward to seeing the next one.
The information was good, there was a lot more covered than one would expect. Its not a printed dev blog like a lot of nay-sayers seem to be harping on about. For one, most of the content is community generated.. the titans/carriers article (albeit a main feature) was the only thing to go into any detail about actualy Eve Online development.
Being the rabid fan that I am, I would have wanted to see stats, model renders, names, skill requirements, and build costs since most of the philosophy behind the capital ships isn't "new" to me. But I can see where this could create problems.. bunch of people ranting on the forums about ship stats for ships that dont even exist yet :P
For me personally, greatest attraction was the concept art and detailed drawings. You simply can't get stuff like that anywhere.. worth the money for that alone, if you enjoy playing EVE for its visuals. Highly dissapointed there wasn't a Gallente carrier concept art, or even any titans (since I understand they will be redone?), but the Naglfar pics balanced it out :D
One last thing I'll comment on is Nathan Richardsson stating Titans and Carriers will definitely come in before 2006 (holidays are big for mmos too..), but Kali is scheduled for 2006. If theres only one content patch between CW and Kali (scheduled for this november early-dec) then how does that work? Will we get Titans/Carriers in with tech 2 bc/dest/bs or will Kali actually make it in for 2005?

I got my mag on time. It's great and would have loved it to be twice the size it is...
With my magazine though someone elses address label was stuck behind mine. So this might be a recurring problem for other people.
I have notified the person in question and they have taken steps to notify the distributors. If other people have not had theirs, this might be why.

Did i miss the page where the gallente carrier was shown? Cus all Ive read are dev comments about what it looks like but no actual concept sketch.

I can't make any criticism sadly, because I'm a fanboy, interested by all pages. And I appreciated the ads (all related to EVE, with just one for Alienware on the last page.)

I received my mag in France a few days ago (sometime around October 8th or 9th). I was really impressed by the quality of the printing, illustrations, design, and the overall look of the mag. Very nice.
The content has some goods and bads. The trading and navigation guides are either written for complete newbies (who, I think, are not very likely to buy an EVE-only 15$ mag), or written for dumb people. I expect the 2nd part of the trading guide to be a little more complex. The Heavy Cruiser Assault guide looks good, but I don't know anything about fitting or PvP, so I wouldn't know (and hey, that's why there's such a guide in the first place).
The rest is okay.
I'll be certainly buying issue 002 before considering a subscription.

Im in VA myself and havent received it. You wont be able to track your order through the store because the E-ON ordering process is different from the regular eve store ordering process.
