Finally, it's here. Firstly, and foremost, I will subscribe as the gesture made, albiet a bit late, to send out new copies has me believing that there is acceptance of the issue and a desire to correct it. We'll find out next issue, here's hoping.
Nice magazine, my only real gripe was no pages and pages of ships. I would have liked to see the artist sketches or ingame models for the ship classes highlighted in the issue eg: titans and the two carrier types. No tech stats needed(although it would be really cool), but just a general impression of what the ships ar going to look like. Would have really liked to see the gallante carrier, the only one not shown . The Amarr carrier was particularly eye catching with the mimm following close behind. All in all the magazine is great, the clone story was a bit creepy, but also a good read.
Also, I want to know where the people who wrote the hac comparisions are buying thier hacs, I've never seen them as cheap as they list them. I gotta learn who thier suppliers are!
So my only suggestion is more ship stuff. Each issue show us the ships, more ships, and even more ships, old and new, and those being considered / developed. Concept art and prototype models from various angles. Part of my interest in EVE is the ships, so giving more attention to them would be most welcome. Maybe even feature a poster in each issue with a big splash of a class / or race specfic ships racing across the cosmos, explosions and battles, or maybe just size comparision charts, or blue print spec sheets, or concept art, you get the idea. Anyway, more ships! More reviews and guides! More more more, excellent mag. Can't wait, and hopefully won't, for the next one.
One you get it, you'll like it. Perhaps thats the worst part of the seemingly endless wait. but it's here now, so I must stop typing and enjoy. Well done magazine CCP!

Now that I finally have mine here is my feedback. As a collectable of sorts and priced that way its not in the best of shape. Nothing bad mind you, just normal postal stuff you would expect from a month in transition. I was already familure with most of the content because it did take a month to get here so while the pictures and stories are great there was no real news value to it. The size of the print and the color of the pages means its probably going to take another month for my tired old eye to read it all. I read a lot of books and editing using spell check software is the norm now a days. Spelling and missing words and lines are common in todays publishing and there is no more here then I am used to. I was really torn over whether or not to subscribe when it was first announced but faced with the actuall content and logistical problems it is easier to decide not to subscribe.

Just got mine today.. was in better condition than I had expected, considering how long it has been out.. shipped across seas.. in the packaging it's in. Near flawless condition.
The magazine is beautiful, I haven't had the chance to read it but there are lots of high res pictures and nice glossy pages. Defintely better quality than you would expect from a magazine.
It's not as thick as I would have liked BUT it was well worth the money in my opinion. It is the type of product I would expect for the price I paid. The big, high color, glossy pages have a nice feeling to them.
thumbs up so far! now time to read ________

Funny thing, I actually stayed home today sick for the 1st time in like 6 months and GUESS WHAT went *clunk* in my mail slot this morning at 10:08AM PST?
E-ON has ARRIVED!!
So, I stand corrected, it is absolutely incredible! I never douted the quality, CCP has a proven track record of this. I still have concerns for the timeliness of the shipping on the next issue. It seems that the ones who pre-ordered/whole year may have been on the botton of the barrel here, doesn't that seem alittle backwards?
Anyway I will step down off my soapbox for now and simply say - Great Job CCP and MMM Publishing Ltd and to all those who contributed!
Me's happy now, I have something to read on those Long Long trade routes!

Damn! This thing is quality! I almost feel guilty touching it with my bare hands..
articles are nicely written and the magazine is a lot longer than I expected it ot be after seeing the thickness. I guess that's what happens with a magazine when it isn't full of stupid ads and wasted space. Plenty of reading material, great images and artwork.. I can't possibly see how this could have been any better.
You outdone yourselves CCP! Great job with EON, I'm more than pleased..
not even done reading it yet, like I said.. it's full of content. About 1/4 through the magazine and I spent a good while reading. If you have not bought it thinking it might not be worth it, it is..
and for those who don't know, it's not a typical magazine. It's large, not normal paper size. The pages are thick and glossy. Almost like the quality of a poster if you know what I mean. ________

e-on has a very very good quality, never before i had a magazin in my hands with that quality and belive me, i read alot magazins, im a girl. maybe (and i say that very careful) you can make it a little bit cheaper, because e-on it's a little bit expensive. but it's only an idea, i will order for one year, regardless of prices. the articles are good, it's a great idea to write about some eve-players. i like also the section with the eve-char-pic's against their they reallife pic i hope u understand what i mean). The artwork is impressiv too! all in all: great work! i hope the other issues will be that great too! --*--*--*--*--

OK I read it, at least partly, and it's very cool...the production values very high, glossy color throughout and passes the critical "thumb smudge" test, which separates cheap printing from a fine piece of work.
Some of the content has obviously been collected for quite some time, such as in the Trade article which talks about the jump route changes for the Cold War expansion in the future tense...hopefully future articles will be a little more timely. All told though, very cool stuff.

I still haven't received mine yet.....though it looks like someone near me did. I'm in Dayton, Ohio and someone in Columbus, Ohio said they received theirs yesterday. I am not posted this to complain (done that enough already), just to let some of the people who still haven't received it yet to know that they are not alone.
