I think you don't have a clue how rich are high sec dwellers if you consider T3s, fleet issue battleships, t2 logis "blinged out ships". Those who lost 3bill pods didn't even bother to come on these forums to say anything. It's just minor inconvenience for players who used to lose 2-5bill worth battleships on regular basis. |

How did RAZOR get set up that quickly and if it wasn't for time dilation allowing then nearly an hour to get ahead of the dilated systems! Our fleet jumped in to what was simply put... a set up. Was this CCP's present to RAZOR and L.S Alliances? perhaps all the goons complaining about "carebears" was too much and the Dev's gave in?
I love PVP, i love the game. But this set up is utterly unacceptable!
Its this sort of **** that makes people stop playing Eve. CCP you should be ashamed of yourself.
Edit: Info
The CCP Dev took command of the fleet and told them when to jump and where to warp to once "out of the bubble" Then abandoned the fleet when the slaughter started. . This coupled with the sector selection being the cornerstone of all major Null Alliance deployments currently caused a mass slaughter of over 400+ h.s pilots.
You lost to rzr lol their like the backstreet boys of the CFC, now thats emberassing
and you also expected null players to not chew on carebears omg,. you seriously need to get out more

I can't decide if the funniest part is the legions of highsec ships jumping to their deaths in Doril, the fact that CCP self-destructed the MacGuffin anyway (making the whole exercise pointless), or the part where the node wasn't reinforced despite this whole deal being CCP's idea in the first place.
Regardless, the Disaster at Doril will have me laughing for a good while. |

I Joined the event in Meves and when they said were going to Stacmon I actually thought the 32 year old char was nuts.
Firstly 8 jumps through mission systems with 800 ships would have been hilarious for them.
Took 45 mins to get there with TIDI 10% which was just lol.
I gave up at Stacmon as the event char buggered off and eveyone didnt have a clue and went throught osti and covryn.
In my mind im thinking because of the cluster **** the other day and the fact that ccp never really has enough chars on SISI to stress test.
They decided to get a bunch of lemmings together and see what happens.
Bloody funny to be honest the fact that they still after all these years sort out terrible lag even on route systems that had 100 chars had 17% TIDI
Razor and the other squads were already prob flying around doril anyway so they must have had ages to set up and get there pinics out and smile and wave at the mess comming to them.

Most of highsec carebears are actually null alts.
No one is crying about the losses since the null alts brought the big/expensive ships and knew they were going to lose them, most true highsec dwellers brought frigates and destroyers.
No one is even crying about the gatecamps and tidi.
The tears are related to not being able to participate in the actual event, most people didn't go anywhere close to the actual event and died on the low/null entry gates.
Which is actually ok. EVE is real, sandbox mode, etc. The "event" was not shooting at the NCP structure in null, it was the whole package, including early deaths, gatecamps, pvp and the rest. So HTFU ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgvM7av1o1Q

Actually, no, we did not know nor care. We sorted the incoming fleet on who had the most shiney ship. So any of your fc's that flew command ships, (faction) battleships, t2 cruisers or faction battlecruisers died quickly. |

You do realize that EVERYONE was notified of event and that not everyone plays nicely?
Welcome to Eve.
I am well aware of this. The problem is that CCP were running the event, had total control, LowSec had no dilation. So 3 jumps for us took 45 mins, Razor had nearly an hour to get organized, + they were all sat ready with 150k snipers, I logistically they are well organized but seems like they knew just were we would be. CCP even told us to jump in! This was lambs to the slaughter. I was one of the later fleet members to die watching everyone get owned the instant they get out of jump. welcome to null sec, where a sizeable fleet can insa move several jump thanks to titan bridge.
btw, CCP announced that utopia was part of the event, and is just 2-3 jumps from doril.
and razor is operating in the area from time to time, for years, so guess what? their FC's got tacticals in the area.
sorry that you wake up like that, but this is how null is working for YEARS (and lowsec too in some occasions)
they knew where you would be, i wonder why (/me looks at the derelik map and check the road to utopia.......) oh yeah, there is a bottleneck entrance,
and BTW, lowsec was tidi as ****, i live in derelik, during the whole thing, the whole lowsec of derelik was under 10% TIDI |

Hello,
I've read quite a few post that RAZOR were set up and waiting at the Sendaya gate in Doril etc etc.
The truth is that we had a sizable fleet active, but we were deep in the opposite direction when our FC got the word the live event had started and the new route took them through Doril. The fleet scrambled a titan and jumped back to Doril, warped to said gate just to arrive in time for the first highsec dwellers to jump through.
We weren't prepared and definitely not set up "an hour in advance" on the Sendaya gate.
Thank you CCP and all other highsec people for making my day. It was indescribable.
Welcome to nullsec!

/Kitty. |

I went solo to syndicate and passed your high-sec fleet while you where moving , needed to evade some bubbles/reds/neuts along the way but made it there when you guys came into syndicate. I know that at least the syndicate fight mostly had null pilots who came rushig there in the last 30 minutes before the fight started and where shooting each other before you guys came in as we/they mostly had neut/Red standings with each other too.The fighting system had allmost no tidi so i'd say good job on that part at least for CCP.
The outcome was the same as in doril though. You can not expect a giant pile of trash to fight guys who know how to follow the FC , have a decent FC , have experience with nullfights and who all are on teamspeak/mumble ... |

It amazes me that you people believe all null alliances are some kind of total institution. I'm not going to try very hard to disabuse you of this notion but I can't help commenting on it when I see it. |

Everyone clearly knows the difference between a PVE and a PVP fit. Most people were in a PVE fit as they were given the impression this was a pirate NPC event. The response on the coms that we were going to 0.4sec 10 min's prior to the event start was shock. Most people didn't know. This was simply down to unclear communication from CCP. The situation of the sites kin d of gave my fleet a good idea. Hence being in a PVP fit to the most part.
Most people thought CCP had engineered some new mechanic where they were forming LS fleets (pirates) and flagging them so their could be a 0.5 sec fight. That was one of the general ideas. (temp security status drop etc)
Look i went into the fight partially PVE but mostly PVP fit as i had no idea what the event was going to be. Hence i lasted one's standing of the first blood bath and actually got on a kill unlike most. The TiDi coupled with CCP FC skills and "just jump to Planet 4 when the bubble dispersers rubbish" caused loads of High Sec players to die on probably their first LS adventure. What sort of Dev doesn't know that the bubbles will just get re deployed in the instant they are down and that you wouldn't last long enough to just "warp out" Every wormholer and NullSec guy does. |
