No fear of my skill running out anytime soon, but I would liek to know if I am going to be able to pay for this game still... I am sure you are on it, but please let us know if PayPal is going to be back anytime soon.
Laughlyn Vaughns	Posted - 2006.03.07 23:18:00 - [65] luckily my skill on that account shudnt finish until the 18th of march but if they are discontinuing paypal i can see a lot of players leaving that pay this way, not everyone can have/is old enuff for a credit card, maybe make an option to make one off payments using the Solo/Maestro cards like a proper purchase.
Lazydog	Posted - 2006.03.08 00:12:00 - [66] Im in the same sinking paypal boat, tryed to be ETC/GTC saw the extra cost to play and thought fair enough as a one off this time , but then found i had to have my paypal account verified which takes 5-7 days, so this is becoming more of a pita now. skills im not worried about as they on 3 weeks training ones, I wont be able to continue playing if paypal is dis-continued, im afraid as credit card is not an option for me, Nor are the extra cost of gtc's so please try to sort this out if you can asap.

Its a SOLO which has been changed to just plain SOLO. The reason I dont have a credit card or a visa debit is quite simple and theres a lot of people in the same boat as me, WE AREN'T ALLOWED ONE. Im not using an ETC because they are alot more expensive. Please add SOLO,VISA ELECTRON,SWITCH, MAESTRO, CIRRUS or other Payment options.

However, I am not going to keep doing that since it's a much more expensive way of doing it and this is a one-off to see if this all blows over. If not, then I let the account lie dormant once the GTC runs out. Thats not true, CCP has no plans to stop accepting PayPal. There is a billing problem at their end for CCP and another MMOG company, hopefully they'll sort it out soon. Kieron is working hard on the p^2 petitions, we'd give him some extra lashes with the whip, but he'd get angry and start chasing me. And then it would take even more time, so it would be a bad idea. I want an offical response as this is a serious issue. Also, your posts have nothing to do with the fact that oveur skipped over the real issues and replied to a poster that already had his problem fixed. I'm not quite sure why this has happened and would like an explanation.

I have paid via paypal for a long time now and it suits me, surely I am not the only one having this problem, so at the end of the day its CCP's loss not mine because I have other projects to entertain me. I have heard of other folks who are blocked from the game due to not being able to pay via Paypal. And by the way its not a Dev that needs poking, its the accounts department for letting this slip..

Make GTC's same price as PayByCash and maybe consider it but seeing as GTC's are more expensive than PayByCash (which is already more expensive than CC) i'd rather not. luckily my skill on my other account doesnt run out until about the 18th which hoepfully by then i'd expect it to be resolved since it would be approx a month, if what a coupel have posters have mentioned they have been unable to do it for 2 weeks now, it was mentioned that this woudl be resolved sumtime this week, which is fast drawing to a close since its friday tomorrow (when i'm writing post) I woudl just liek to setup a new Bloodline but i feel sorry for the other guys who are missing gametime due to it.

Kinvar	Posted - 2006.03.10 17:36:00 - [90] I was registering a Po2 account on the 4th of march and i got an error message(COMM ERROR) at the credit card information. A pressed next again and it wrote that i already payed for this account. After this i didnt got a confirmation email and i could not log in to the account either. Password recovery works but i cant login with that password either. The money was transferred from my bank on the 7th march. Right now i cant use my account and i havent got my money back. I wrote some emails to support but didnt got some answers just some auto replys with links but those are not much help. Please can anyone help me with this? Its really urgent
