Acutally, when NBSI and Black Lance were in syndicate we did this on at least two occasions, destroying 20-30 goon ships at a time, including 'ceptors, cruisers, BS, and tech 2 offerings. Oh yes and some tech 1 frigs too. It was well worth the investment, and in at least one case, one of our bombapocs got away Think, Rethink, Post.

It doesn't work very well when your entire fleet warps into a bubble and land right in the middle of two battleships smartbomb range. As 72 killmails within a minute showed.
