oh god loved the KIATolon cameo.
One thing you gotta remember is that managing a corp of this size is already an immense task. Our directors are a fantastic bunch who dedicate a ton of time to the corp. Some of these guys go days and days without even undocking, and they absolutely deserve anything that can help them out.
CCP, releasing this skill is a humanitarian effort and is probably tax-deductible!

Honestly people, if you don't know what you're talking about, keep your mouth shut. A single array with 2600 elements needs LESS memory than 1300 elements. There would be virtually no difference in server load from the implementation of Sovereignty. The claims about increase in usage because of a larger corp channel are retarded, because we don't USE the corp channel in the first place.

But anyways, someone suggested a few pages back that allowing a larger corporation might create greater strain on the server because of an enlarged corporate chat channel. The fact of the matter is, releasing this skill would, in theory, use less resources. At the moment, Goonfleet and Goonwaffe are using a player-made channel as a bridge between our two separate corporate channels, which remain almost entirely unused. So, basically, without the skill, there are two more channels than there need to be, and hence, wasted server resources.
just thought i'd bring that to the table there

Plus the extra offices throughout the universe, the extra corp settings, and standings. I really could go on forever and list all the reasons why having 2 corps results in more resources being used but I won't. This box only allows 3000 characters. Anyway, having 2 corps is a complete logistical nightmare.

To be fair, it's only been up over the weekend, I wouldn't want to deal with us seven days a week. They're also busy with E3(Where they're getting a print copy of this) and I'm sure iceland is shortstaffed(Where a priority mail copy of this written in crayon and a hand-delivered message is going)

And its common they don't react on things that will make them look ebil and stuff. They used to reply with soon(tm) but gave up on that one.
Silly thing is they did release the Jumpdrive skill 2 yrs ago but there wasn't any use for it until capital ships came. But Sovereignty is clearly needed but isn't released.
Whats the harm in telling us why that skill isn't released?
