I haven't been deep into curse recently, most of my time in eve has been spent combatting pirates in Molden Heath and Heimatar or defending Egbinger and B-VIP from the stain invasion, as well as a bit of mining and farming as you do.

Today I went deep into curse with two allies from two other corps, who are not in the Curse Alliance but fight alongside us against our enemies. What I saw in Curse were alot of organized CA members keeping the place safe.I was there for many hours and I saw no Stain invaders and only one CC who passed through the system i was in very rapidly.

It was nice to see our alliance in such great numbers and so organized. Stain, if you want this war to end then stay home and stop invading our space.

Funny. Cause last time I was in Curse (2 days ago), I saw 4 RUS members run out from Curse and all of CA docked.

Funny. I heard that one CA shuttle killed 20 SA BS's singlehandedly. I heard that the emperor isn't really dead, but turned into the cookie monster and ran off somewhere into JK-FIX. HEH. dalman if that information comes from your intelligence officer (if stain is smart enough to have one), I suggest getting a new one :).

So you deny that some of CA's haulers were blown up, as well as many cargo cans that were floating in space? And that your battleships couldn't catch the one SA pilot?

Dude... I seriously DO NOT know what you are talking about. Nexus and Bird of Prey were never at war with anyone. In fact, as the Coalition was first forming, it was brought to our attention that there was another Alliance in Curse as well. Cyndal (the other Nexus Director) and myself introduced ourselves and stated our intentions, etc... Prior to this meeting, no one in Nexus was even aware there was another Alliance in Curse and we'd been there for nearly two months. We'd seen some of the corps, but there had never been any real exchange of information.

I've used just about half an hour searching the forum for the thread where people from VOTF, nexus and birds of prey began shouting at each other. This thread ended with a war declaration. Nexus and Birds of prey where on KOS list, then CC joined CA and the war stopped before it started. I'm really annoyed I canĘt find the threat because without that this is just my word, not worth allot Neutral

I think my biggest issue with this point is that you are saying it like it's fact. I was there when the initial talks with the original CA took place with STK and RC, etc... and I was shooting at NO ONE other than Red Corsairs and a few other assorted lowlifes (Space Pills, S*****rdly) at the time. I know you weren't in the Eventide Channel. Until these posts, I've never heard of / seen you.

This strikes me as rather odd because CC members state all through this thread that pirates are scum and they hunt any corp they believe to be pirates but still you accept a nap with corps you claim to be pirate corps.

If I understand this correctly the initial talks where before you merged (or joined) with CA and before sinister turned up in curse. When you decided to join CA, sinister where already in curse and part of the CA.

Please correct me, this is what I understand of how things happened:
1. Initial meeting where NAP's where arranged between CA and CC (no sinister in curse)

2. War that I cant prove was declared

3. Sinister came to curse

4. Meeting where CC, CA and Sinister joined forces

5. CC leaves CA because a claim of pirating.

I'm a no one, just a small member of nomads who god tired of being called pirate whithout any prof of this. The information I'm writing is what I get from people I regard highly as honest people, like Qobra, Sarkos and XirtamVOTF.

Your numbered summary is fairly accurate. After the Eventide treaty, the CC was under strict orders to not fire at Red Corsairs or Vengeance of the Fallen. However, this did NOT stop VOTF or RC from firing on Curse Coaltion ships. We suffered no substantial losses tho, with the exception of a pair of cruisers I believe.

We tried to talk to the CA, but they kept denying that such activities were taking place. By the time Sinister arrived, the word of Xirtam and the other CA leaders was worth little to the CC leadership. I guess the CA simply assumed that the CC would follow their lead in welcoming Sinister. We did not.

You mention that all through this thread CC members are talking smack about pirates. Well, yeah. Now that open war is declared, all of the furstration we felt while trying to ignore being shot at is coming out. No surprise there.

Lastly, you list Qobra, Sarkos and XirtamVOTF as 'people I regard highly as honest people'...

Qobra, I have had no dealings with, but even among neutral corps in the region no one I've spoken to has anything really negative to say about him.

Sarkos seems to be rather level headed judging from his posts in this thread. I have no real beef with him outside of the fact that we are now enemies.

Which brings me to Xirtam. This guy is INFAMOUS among the corps of the Coalition. He lied to us about his and the CA's intentions from the start. It is he, above all others, upon whom the blame for this war rests and now I'll tell you why.

Remember that I said that RC and VTOF were violating the cease fire between the CC and the CA? That that was the main reason we felt we could not trust the CA when Sinister arrived in Curse? When Fubie tried to report on the pirate activities that were ongoing in spite of the non agression treaty, Xirtam literally laughed him out of the channel, called him a liar and denied everything.

The following night was the final straw. This screenshot is part of a series that was taken on 14 Sep 03, well before the current war began. It was taken by Flum, one of Nexus' Scorpion pilots.

Note the Region: Curse
Note the people in the Threat Box: XirtamVOTF and also BobGhengisKhan of Red Corsairs.
Note the damage text. Who is that shooting at my Scorpion pilot?

You wanted proof? Now you have some. I also submit to you, the text of Flum's after action report on the CC Forums:

Quote:
RC and VOTF have opend fire on CC members again. Trollkeeper's Apoc was down to 13% armor 30% hull and they apparently also fired on Yola.

A few of us headed out that way and when I was about to check a station Anubis IV locked me and shot me. He is from VOTF.

Then we all gatherd at one spot and Scragg took command. I went to the gate on the way back. It was clear and I told ppl to come.

Suddenly a few RC ppl came to the gate. One warped away. Two stayed and then a bunch of RC and VOTF showed up and locked me and started firing on me.

By this time i hadn't shot a single shot and niehter did the others with me to my knowledge.

How many more times are they gonna fire on us before we take action Fubie?! Talks don't seem to phase these idiots!!

Xirtam is a LIAR, Ramuis. At least, he was never honest in his dealings with the Coalition. By the time Sinister had showed up, were we in the Coalition actually supposed to believe Xirtam's claims of them turning peaceful when the man himself was opening fire on Coalition ships?? Evil or Very Mad

The CC didn't backstab anyone. We simply left because we simply felt:

1.) The leadership of the CA could not be trusted to keep it's word.

2.) Sinister going lawful? Heh. Rolling Eyes

I do not expect any of the above to stop the war or solve anything. I wish it would. But hopefully it will give at least some members of the CA something to think about.

If a corp had said this as the reason for leaving I wouldn't call them backstabbing but try reading fubie's post. He is making it sound like you have been under constant fire by CA and the pirate activity in curse have been rising since the forming of the CA.

Based on the above incidents I fully understand you choice to leave CA. I dont know why VOTF and RC attacked you but I'll try to find out. Xirtam has always been a man of action rather than a man of talking. If he felt someone from a corp had done him wrong he would try to get revenge.. I'm not saying its no biggie what happens on screenshot but I would like to have both sides of the story.

Jeez, where have you been? Do we need to spell it out for you? It's rather simple:

Curse Coalition succeeds from the Curse Alliance. Curse Coalition declares war on Curse Alliance. VOTF/Red Corsairs are part of the Curse Alliance. Nexus is part of the Curse Coalition.

Need a few more hints? Get with the program, get with reality, and fight for what you beleive in and stop crying.

BTW tell Fubie (CEO of Nexus) that the death of his Scorpion was a good 5 seconds of fun :).

We do not support piracy.

Having (2 nights ago) been podded by Bach of your corp, in his scorpion while I was in a Badger, about 20 jumps from Curse and heading AWAY (towards Wicked Creek), I would beg to differ.

Do your pilots just shoot everyone they don't know or even care to talk to? If so, get off the moral high ground or change your rules of engagement.
