reclaimer, after sitting in and around hlw for the past 7 hours, yes, we logged off.

would you like a cookie?

you invited us to come to curse so you could kill us. we did. you sat in stations for 1/3rd of the day. and, most of the time, you had greater numbers.

so... keep talking.

You're right Homo, you have been in that system for the past 7 hours: Logged on an alt, waiting to see only one of us in system, so 7 of your guys can log on to hunt the one. Same in syndicate, same here. Same boring HOMO.

no angelus ice, you are simply wrong. no surprise. our forces were in curse, seconds away from your hq all of last evening. much of that time was spent in hlw itself.

your side made a strategic retreat, logoff, mass scatter, whatever you want to call it.

so heres the facts:

CA asked for us to come to hlw so CA could own us.

We did.

For 7 hours we were in the core systems of curse, including hlw.

For much of the time, CA had greater numbers.

Not one decent fight occured due to CA's massive log offs, and sitting in stations.

For the last 1.5 hrs we were sitting outside of the bttom station in hlw, there were more CA in hlw than our forces, by almost 2 to 1 odds.

And angelus, plz don't try to tell me that we only hang around when the odds are in our favour. You know better.

Unfortunatly we do shoot everyone suspected of aiding the enemy. We don't have time to play 20 quesitons to figure out what side you are on and we will occasionally make mistakes.

War is a messy ugly thing. Mistakes will be made and some innocent people will be killed. If you don't want to get hurt stay away from the Curse and surronding regions until the CA menace is removed from the area, after that you will be free to travel, trade and mine in the area. If we destroyed your ship and we can confirm it was an accident and you where NOT aiding the enemy we will make an effort to replace your ship or compenstate you in some way.

Don't beliebve me? Ask the White Sands Consortium. I settled a claim with them under similar circumstances.

If you where not working with the Curse Alliance we apologize for your loss. Please avoid the war zone until such time as peace and order can be restored to the region.

Everyone should note.. Cruse the and surronding area are is one large war zone and should be avoided. We would like nothing more than to target just CA ships but they have a proven history of employing deceptive tacts and we can not allow them to operate freely in the area in non-flagged ships. The area should be avoided until such time as peace and order are restored and the the Curse Alliance of Pirates is neutralized.

Well I was going to take this up with you via in game sources, but there doesnt seem a lot of point really. SINCE THE SAME DAMN MEMBER OF YOUR CORP HAS JUST DESTROYED ONE OF MY CORPS THORAX's AND PODDED THE PILOT.

I dont care about your war, what I do care is that my members are getting pirated BY BACH OF YOUR CORP when they are 20 jumps away from the WarZone as he was trying to get home. You warned us to get out, so Im trying to roll up our mining operation. How can I do that when Bach of your corp just killing anyone he doesnt know? Did you talk to him? Can he read?

You're just a bunch of damn hyprocrite pirates hiding behind the a 'Its a war zone!" excuse.

And how the hell am I supposed to prove to you that my corp and my members are not a front company for Sinister?

LMAO fight when you want where you want, never fight a prepared enemy if you can avoid it.

Besides, if you leave an enemy they get bored and waste 7 hours of their lives, it gets them much more annoyed than a 40 second lag fest, killing/loosing a few ships, then watching the smack talk fest on the forums, something I learned first hand.

I remember watching your guys sat 2 systems out from hlw, whilst our guys logged off slowly over the course of 6 hours.

I remember sitting around in yz-lql making up schemes about bull****ting we were paid to go there, because the some of fountain's forces were sat in station smack talking. I remember the 3rd time I was in yz-lql and no fountain would even come out and we sat for 6 hours, killed a few stragglers and left.

Its the nature of the game, its the rules of the game, its how this game works.

The hypocritical bull**** from both sides is frankly lame.

OOOH YOU WOULDN'T FIGHT, OOOH YOU CALLED US EXPLOITERS....

Its rather sad to watch it all really...

Sooner or later alot more people are going to realise the futility of pvp in eve, its just a matter of time.

stav, i don't think you're smart enough to get it. so, once again, i will put the single digit numbers together for you.

no one is saying that a mass logoff (as you did), or a mass station bingo game(as you did) is evil. it's not a sin to not fight a battle that you are not 300% sure you can win. and, i didn't say it was either.

what i said was, you guys told us to come to curse, where you would supposedly kill us. we did. we were there all night long. you didn't kill us. it seems simple to me.

in your own post you make youself a dunce. we sat outside your stations and in your systems last night for 7 hours. that was the plan. to come and wait for a fight. we completed every part of our goal that we possibly could. it was our intention to be where we were.

it's not a waste of our time if we are doing what we wanted to do.

by the way stav, it's going to be hard for you to claim your usual this bores me, i don't care, im leaving eve in 1 day stuff, sinc eyou just spent 15 minutes composing a post, just, for, me.

yo dj, spin that wheel

ps. I command you to post again, stav. Do as I command.

stav. rdy for the 1+1? rdy set go.

Posted - 04/10/2003 16:01:00 <--- my post. btw, a grammar edit shouldn't throw you off so much. ;[

Edited by: Stavros on 04/10/2003 16:07:31 <--- time you finished with your response to my post.

that is 6.5 minutes, for you to compile 80 words.

your original post, the one to which I was estimating a 15 minute completion time:

210 words.

using simple logic(stick with me here stavy) and simple math, one could easily conclude that if it took you about 6 and a half minutes to compose 80 words, it would take you about 17 minutes to compose 210.

stav, cmon. try. you're seriously lucky that I actually enjoy educating eve newbies like you, lest I would have stopped conversing with you months ago.
