Katrana Fordring Caldari State War Academy	Posted - 2006.08.24 03:34:00 - [511] A couple things I've noticed (some already mentioned): Overview settings were deleted Player characters who are not in a corp show "Untitled 1" through "Untitled 8" as their title if you look at their character info On my character info (by right-clicking my ship, selecting "show info" then clicking my portrait) my security status is 0.2 but on the area above my skill training it's 0.1 Selecting the Journal automatically hilights every entry in the list Adding items to containers can randomly cause all the column widths to shrink so you can't read the entries Trying to shoot things at max range (or send drones to attack) gives an error that the target must be less than the max range. For example, max range on my drones is 30KM but sending them to attack a stationary object from 30KM gives an error saying "The target must be less than 30KM" Drones get stuck in "returning to ship" mode and don't move when told to "Return and orbit". Using "Scoop to drone bay" clears it up

Sandeep	Posted - 2006.08.24 04:13:00 - [513] Gate-cloak those in a traffic control queue. Some traffic controls are active in low sec, and it can kill. (You really don't know when you can jump, so you don't know whether to return fire or wait.)

(far as i could tell at least) but now EVE wont connect. it keeps checking Tranquility and never gets any farther than checking status. i've tried with Nortons off and on, no change. i AM on a college campus tho, so if the patch changed some of the access ports EVE uses, they'd be great to have the numbers to or a way to get them. otherwise, it's great! capt. spire

Don't know yet if that is an exploit. Well, it's just isk... nothing really big Anyways, I tend to stay docked after each patch after-math. Shooting at the development team is easy but it doesn't help. Just let the guys/women do their job. Some bugs just don't show up during testing. Each release should 'minimize' the number of bugs though. Roemy Schneider BINFORD	Posted - 2006.08.24 09:39:00 - [523] hummm whats with the new font - or rather, the extra line of pixel in it? not, that it borks anything, but still. if it was necessary, forget i said anything ^^ oh and could the amount of packaged and batched items be bumped up by 1 or 2 pixels? oh and could you fiddle with the price-axis in the market histories? maybe cut off the cents if > 1000isk... then tens/hundreds of millions could be distinguished again oh and could you cut down on the auth codes or whatever it is that's freezing up the game (more or less) shortly when bookmarks are being set, gang's are being changed and whatnot? humm.. and that was only a first impression :o

Blood? second thing a bit more annoying is when you change skills your charachter sheet icon stays highlighted and clicking on the skill in progress not always show the remaining time. --------------- When I was young I wanted to be me, my childhood dream came true

Over time i heard that various members were being banned, because they thought they were lucky with a BPO on escrow, which was sold as a BPC. This is because of the known issues with these BPO's. I am not here to defend any of my corpmembers or alliance members that got banned over the last day, just wanted to put out the word that most of these players that got banned were not aware of the 'exploit' they were using. Without giving these members a warning or a temporary ban, committed players that put their heart and soul into eve might actually suffer from these patches and all their time and effort gone to waste. This stupid font thing has gone on for months now. Get rid of that horrible, awful, blinding font... no actually leave is as it is (before you manage to pull an even more awful one) and give me back the option to change it. Thank you. Another thing: the icons showing the standings and status of ships in space tend to 'disappear' and reset to 'no status' if you stay in the same location for some time. No need to say that this is VERY dangerous and needs to be addressed asap ! Concerning the rest of the patch, in my personal experience, it looks great. GJ ! P.S. Did I state that the eve font sucks? No? Ok: the eve font SUXXXXXXXXXX !!!!1 P.P.S. I am still unable to get past the 'connect' screen without the client simply disappearing. I am using WIN XP PRO SP2. I have re-installed the new build ( 4557 ) four times now... I have configured, re-configured and turned off the firewall many times...and still I am unable to get further than the 'login woman' saying "conn---" before the client simply up and vanishes. I get no error messages or anything of the sort, the game just goes away when I click connect. Still waiting for a response on any of 10 different threads on the forum, and its been over 30 hours since I filed a petition,also with no sign of any response or help in sight. After three years of playing EVE, this is by far the largest problem I have ever encountered, and CCP seems to be treating it as if its not happening. From reading the other threads, I am not the only one experiencing this. Anger has now replaced disappointment

Anger has now replaced disappointment If you have a spare HDD I would suggest you to format it, install just the OS/drivers and eve. If it works than you know how to proceed, if it does not work you can start working on drivers/etc, if it still does not work maybe it is some HW compatibility issue. Edit: I know that this is quite 'blunt', but in my experience it is the fastest way to work out wtf is not working (in very small environments like a stand alone PC) if conventional SW/HW debugging ways/tools fail their job.

Regades/matt As has been said many times, read the known issues page to see if it is already known about, then and only then should you post if it is not. Originally by: Known issues Setting the default warp distance does not work. It automatically resets to 15km.

Issues I have noted so far (which have been posted previously, I am sure.): 1) No warp sounds, entering or exiting 2) I undock and cannot see my ship (no cloaking). I can jump to different points in the system but my ship graphic never appears. I was only able to produce this error once. z(>'.')> Don't blink or the PIKA-CHU is gonna get you! <('.'<)z
