Above it, do you used Web petition ( i guess yes, if you can't connect) : news today say it's broken : "The Dev team is aware of an issue concerning petitions submitted through the website. If you need to submit a petition, please do so through the in-game interface. This is a high priority issue being worked on". ... Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.

Had the same thing happen before when I ran two clients, and used to fix it by switching to fullscreen and then back to windowed. Now that doesnt work. Hard to describe, but pixels starts changing color and some elements become very stretched. Have to restart client to fix it. I've changed nothing with my graphics drivers (and yes, they are up to date). Annoying to say the least.

That is a classic description of a graphics card overclocked just a little too far & overheating

The client is set to English and all other skills completed are reported in English.

I've been getting that too, but only when switching between two fullscreen clients (usually when I'm doing it back and forth too quickly). I can fix it with voodoo solutions like hitting ctrl-alt-delete and then alt tabbing a few more times, but if it happens again I'll update the drivers and then try to bug report it. I'm 99% sure it's not the card overheating, because I've used 2 clients for long stretches in hot weather fine before.

The problem is that it seems cloaking does not seem to prevent an enemy from locking your ship. Appearantly, if someone is targeting you, and you cloak, you will appear to be cloaked on your screen (ship transparent, cloaking mod flashing green); HOWEVER, the enemy will still be able to complete the lock and fire on you. Testing has confirmed that the enemy can STILL SEE YOUR SHIP, even after you have cloaked, and while it appears to you that your cloak is operational. Extensive details and testing in the above thread. If we could get a GM / DEV to comment on it, it would be much appreciated. ~Xiao
Toolivus	Posted - 2006.08.24 15:24:00 - [551] Thankyou for the subtle changes to the display, the font is great, the extra space between lines is great, the circular 'show info' buttons are great. Hell, even the way the undocking window shrinks right before you're spat out of the station is great. The rounder numbers on the market history graph are a nice touch too. I've found that log in times are much faster, and everything seems much more responsive. Unfortunately, the problem that I had occasionally for a few weeks at one point has returned ten-fold. Every now and then, sometimes at intervals of 10 minutes, sometimes 45 minutes (woo!) the game suddenly and completely disconnects. As far as I can tell, all other applications I'm running are unaffected. There doesn't seem to be anything that triggers this, it happens while mining, fighting, simply sitting in a station chatting or being afk.

I am getting a bug when entering buy orders or buying things off the market where in the buy item screen all the text is bunched to the left and you can't see the unit cost price or total cost price. The only two things that i have noticed, is the warp sound (which I never have sound on any ways so no biggee) and that has been mentioned before. The other thing that noticed was the display of items in either my cargo holds or in the actual hanger itself seems to be a bit off. This happens when it is set to "icons" vs. the losts. it looks like the icon buttons are a little short. The text seems to overlap the icon itself, at least the quantity of each item. Other than that, its been pretty good. runs cleaner and smoother for me. Undocking from stations or coming out of warp gates take maybe a couple seconds longer, but that's about it.

In order to try and convince them I need the following from you the players: A Bug Report with attached screenshots (zipped, zip file size under 2mb) that clearly display the current font in your monitors native resolution, the current font in a non-native res and a clear description of the monitor type you use, your typical resolution, the what the native resolution is. Please note, this is by no means a guarantee that font replacement will become available.

Every time I would click on read details, it would shutter for a second like it was going to do it, but nothing would ever come up. Decided to wait till after downtime to see if that changed things. It did not. No big deal probably would have turned it down anyway so I turned down the offer, but just thought I would let you know about it. Other then that have had no other problems, looks great, but really do miss my Courier missions....

Since I use a linux server for my site, the urls won't work as copied. Talidorn That is the 4th bug submitted today.

Deleting a folder in the Places tab of People&Places only deletes the folder if it is empty. Otherwise, only the bookmarks in it are deleted. Bug Report submitted. Sure, it's a tiny thing, but it will take a dev about 20 seconds to fix - just need to remember to deleteFolder() after the deleteBookmarkInFolder(folderName) loop :o)
Johan VanDelft Gallente	Posted - 2006.08.24 19:52:00 - [559] I don't know if it is a bug or not, but I just bought some new skills and I noticed two things: 1) Prices are higher (ok can happen) 2) After I bought my skillbook, the price dropped a few isk Example: I bought High Speed Maneuvering for 314,331.07 ISK, and now (after the buy) this station (Scolluzer VII - Moon 1 - University of Caille school) shows the price to be 314,222.18 ISK while before the buy it indeed showed the price I bought it for. So is this a bug, or is this a new form of market dynamics?

Engaged cloak, I cloaked on screen, the green light was flashing on the cloak, but the gate campers could somehow still lock me, scramble and kill me. I accept the risks of low-sec but being killed while cloaked is either a bug or an exploit, probably the former. Damn covert ops cloak wasn't destroyed so even if the Arazu is replaced when the petition finally gets to the head of the queue in 4-6 months it won't be replaced. I also doubt the full set of +3 implants and HX-1 mining implant will be replaced either. Oh well, another patch, another bug. Whine over, please pass the cheese. Bex Beere Director Ominous Corp

This includes much more than the scanner is giving: Where around an object are they positioned? Towards where are they aligned? For many reasons: A 'loading point' to reduce lag. A point for T2 ammo long distance fire. A point to land dictors/ceptors upon hostile fleet. A 'warp-out-point' within the grid. etc etc etc. But somehow, somewhere at some time, things went very very very wrong. For some reason ppl could cloak after ppl had started locking them. This turned the covert op into a 'god-mode-ship' (but without offensive powers). It could be used to move anywhere at any time with zero risk. And so everyone, including mom and grandmother, had to get a covert ops for themselves to move items completely risk-free (against the very foundation of EvE). And as a result the price on covert ops is very high. Of course you're not supposed to have your client say you're cloaked when you're not. But that is an insignificant bug compared to the bug that you've been able to cloak during the locking phase. Am I forced to have any regret?
