Before the patch I could log on, but afterwards all it says is 'checking status' and it gets stuck on that.
What to do?

My entering and exiting warp sounds are missing on both my clients. Pre-patch, one client had replacement sound files in res/Sound to fix the super loud warp noises, one didn't. In some ways this is a blessing in disguise, but I thought I'd mention it in case it wasn't deliberate.

15km is about the range of the bloodclaw light missiles...
It does sound like the missiles aren't reaching their target - but with decent projection and bombardment skills you can get light missiles out past 20km easilly enough.
Perhaps those skills aren't working now?

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at CCP for all their hard work. And a special thank you to the Dev team - well done for getting the new patch deployed! I know how hard things like this can be (As a software developer myself)

Also, I was adjusting column width in Overview interface, and while I was dragging one side of the column, I got a big white vertical line. I can't get rid of this line from my overview

Marsellus start reading dev blogs yourself! There is no info when courier missions will be back, just that had to be done... duh, I understand that, changes are made through pain, but understand me - I've been left WITH NO ALTERNATIVE... only way for me is to spend a lot of time investing in gunnery, starship command etc. only to be able to increase my stand again... would you be happy if suddenly ccp decides that kill missions need to be changed and they remove them in next patch? Or if mining would be removed just becouse old lasers are useless and in next patch new shiny lasers will be introduced, what about that?
And if new missions system was added in prev patches why there are no 'new' courier missions now?? Zodiaq |

I just took a mission to transport some batteries and I got standing and isk for doing it.
P.S. No loyalty points this way, but at least I can get standings up some more on my new research alt - and standing is the only real reason I am doing the missions!

Now that I have checked it (again), the Oveur's blog was posted 2 (two!) days ago, i.e. 1 day before the patch. That is not even 1 week. :)
And in the blog it says the following: "They will be replaced, but not in this patch." Well, I don't know about you, but for me it sounds like:
"They will be replaced in some distant future, we don't know even ourselves, when it will happen, so it means "SoonÖ"
...me likes it not.

Not sure if this has been posted here. If you give an Cargo Container an new name this new name does not appear in the Overview. This makes looting unplayable. Sorry for my bad english...

Good to see you are all up again, thou you get really delayed. No major patch is/has/will ever go smooth for any game without getting problems =)

I logged in for a quick look this morning and was surprised by the speed I went through. The graphics adjustments work out well.
You're lucky, I approve of this patch. Nice work.

Well another patch another load of players whining, IF the people doing the complaining had even the fainest idea of how big an operation it is to rip out a chunck of core code and change code for the better then they wouldn't whin.
Sorry if this sounds harsh, I know you have paid for a gaming experiance and you dont take kindly to an interuption in your gaming but bare this in mind if you want an idea on how big a million lines of code is. if you could print out the first 10 chars of each line of code at a rate of 10 lines printed per second it would take 28 HOURS to print it all out
So imagine what happens if you plan to change ONE line of code that affects several differnt attributes, you have to try and test each of those possiblitys its takes time and some outcomes arn't expected.
So get off the devs backs I think they do an amazing job and hope they are getting some well desered rest after their hurculian efforts during this patch.
So keep your comments constructive and positive, we all know patches can be fustrating but we also know that the CCP will have Eve back up and running better than ever.

I've had a quick look (haven't even undocked yet!) and noticed a few things:
- previously mentioned problems with agent offers (offer details cannot be read, agent complains about an unhandled exception when asked about offers)
- although I have 'show tutorials' disabled in my options there's Aura staring at me disapprovingly from the sidebar (probably been snooping though my hangars, to judge by the looks I'm getting). Is there any way to remove the tutorials button?
- My 2 Federal Navy Academy agents seem to suffer from amnesia and now introduce themselves as tutorial agents rather than 'normal' agents (Advisory). Pre-patch their greetings would depend on standings - eg. I have a standing of 9.5 towards one of them, and pre-patch this agent would greet me with cries of joy and delight, offer me sweetmeats and insist on giving me a foot massage... now he treats me like just another new graduate (typical... just when I have sore feet and a craving for champagne truffles!) and talks about training missions... (though when asked for a mission he did offer a 'normal' combat mission).

Not sure if anyone else is getting this, but when I turn the camera around, as soon as i release the left hand mouse button, the client takes it as a double click in that direction so I start moving.

somes things : => Each time you change 1 things (show frigate per exemple) on the config panel, the overview "flick" => If you want to move you drone to one of you'r old set of group, it's respond you "you can't mix type of drones" => Launch you'r drones, select 1 right click => Ok a fancy menu, select 2 and ... right click, no menu, you need to micro-manage them now :p => right click => asteroid belt show a HUGE menu, some times disturbing when a lot of belt
Ps : like the new button in 'selected item', just need to advice when it s ound 'dark gray', it juse cause you can't use it., thanks for all the improvement Nahh no sign for now :p |

Unable to use another font with the new patch. The default font makes my eyes bleed due to it being close to unreadable at this resolution.
Please make it possible to change the font to something more readable.
The default font may look pretty but it's really hard to read it for some of us.

I seem to be having a log in problem after the patch i cant get pass connecting to server. i type in my pass and all and when that happen the Eve screen just cuts off. any idea what i can do to actually log in?

When looking at items in you cargo or hangar the little box at the bottom (which contains the number of items in that stack) is a bit too big for the icon. This means the bottom of the icon cuts through some numbers.
Not a major issue but thought you might like to know.

I thought most problems were to arise because you were unable to replicate the game environment for testing ? ie impossible to test the patch before 27,000 users all jumped on it...
Obviously something else much more basic was at hand... since it took no players online whatsoever to create issues that delayed you for a good 12 hours...
