Ive had the same issue for awhile. Its a Cache Issue so DELETE this folder: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\cache\MachoNet\ Delete >> 87.237.38.200 << DELETE
And do a good clean up on the rest of your cache and you should be good to go!

Its worked for me each time as of today as a matter of fact so at least try it. And you have to delete the folder not just its contents BTW.

Deleting MachoNet - as I always done before to clean the folder, did not help and Omega drivers installed also did not help.

Have not been able to log in for two days, no response from anyone on what the problem is or how long it will take to resolve it. Uninstalled, reinstalled...
Horrid customer service.

nope a router was off in on also - in my case I think it has to do with comres.exe somehow... EVE asked to activate it and then the client stopped to log in.
Thanks for help anyway !

I'm getting the same thing. Yesterday I couldn't log in on 1 of my 3 accounts and had problems with constant disconnects on the other 2.
We went through this same thing a few months ago and it took CCP two weeks to acknowledge the problem and another 2 weeks to fix it. Hopefully that won't be the case this time.
Last time it had something to do with settings on their end but we never got word on exactly what they did to fix it. My best understanding of it is this...
I'm no techie so bear with me. When the client first connects to the server after each DT, it grabs fresh data and puts it in the MachoNet folder. What appears to be happening is that whatever tweaks they did to improve packet turn around/latency or whatever is causing some of the packets to time out meaning the fresh data never makes it to the MachoNet folder or if it does it's corrupted.
It seems the same issue has reared its ugly head again, hopefully CCP having dealt with it at least once in the last few months will get it resolved a little quicker this time. A few people quit the game over it last time because they couldn't get in the game for weeks.
Anyway, last time we came up with a workaround that at least got people past the login screen and into the game, albeit with numerous random disconnects. It at least allowed most people to get in long enough to switch skills.
A player that CAN get into the game logs in after DT and the fresh data is put in his MachoNet folder. He then zips/rars up the folder and uploads it to a place where the affected people can download it or emails it to them. Then the affected person copies it over their own MachoNet folder and viola!
The MachoNet folder has to be obtained after the most recent DT, the previous days folder won't work so this had to be done daily to log in until the problem got resolved on CCP's end. We did it every day for weeks and it's a huge pain in the arse, but it got us in long enough to switch skill training.
I'm working on getting a m8 who can get in to send me a working MachoNet folder. I'll try it and see if it works and report back here either way.

Ok, I used a m8's MachoNet folder and got in right away on all 3 accounts. Haven't been DC'd yet, but also haven't left the station trying to do anything yet.
For those having the same issue, here is a working MachoNet folder uploaded by our corp webmaster: Working MachoNet folder
Hope it helps :)
and hi Jozif (Jozif was instrumental in helping figure this out last time and providing fresh MachoNet folders for everyone else).

The downloadable MachoNet folder worked for me as well. If you are having problems applying it, download the most recent version of WinRar (if you're on a Windows OS computer) from www.download.com (it's free), and delete the MachoNet folder from the CCP/Eve/cache/ directory before replacing it. (If you're prudent, be sure to copy the old MachoNet folder to a temporary directory, even though it won't work, in case the replacement fails to work as well.) Let's hope this is a by-product of the FanFest weekend (i.e., the technical support staff are overwhelmed and the number of players may be unusually high?), and not a sign of ongoing problems to come.

Edited by: SgtStorm on 13/11/2006 19:02:10 You'll have to grab a new working MachoNet folder after each server reboot. Our corp webmaster has been nice enough to offer a link that will have a fresh working MachoNet folder each day. Make sure you give him enough time to log in and get one uploaded after the server comes up each day.

Hope it helps. You may still experience frequent random disconnects until CCP gets this sorted, but it will get you in and allow you to change skills, reset factories, corp mgmt, etc.
You can go here to butter CJ's muffin so he doesn't get tired of doing this every day:

Just remember, this is only a workaround. petition and keep it open until the problem is solved or CCP won't know what still needs fixing.

Hi.
Tha problem more detailed like before.
I download the actually machonert folder copying to the proper place, but, my with main character still unable to logging in, just with the alt. So with machonet folder the client accepted the user and pass, goin to character selection, but only able logging with my alt. That is why for some peoples working and and for some peoples not.
Everyboda write petition, and do not let close it before CCP dont fiy this issue again..
Thnx for sgt providing the machonert folder. Keep it up mates!

I am the hoster of the aforementioned mentioned links for the MachoNet files.
For ALL information related to downlaoding these files, see visit tardz website here: Tardz MachoNet thread by CJ or the link to the thread that is inside that thread. I won't be checking this thread because well i'm just too lazy.
I'll be continuing to host these files on a day to day basis for a while, but i hope for those that have this problem, the situation is fixed soon.

Back to the same problem again...can't remember how I solved it last time but believe I was able to login again before a few others last time...perhaps just luck can't remember...
The MachoNet folder didn't solve it for me so all I have is the petition now, lucky me I've a few days left on skill training ;)
