I can't get my drones to attack my wrecks.
I was planning of using them to blow up the ones I've looted, the same as I did to loot-cans (that is, loot cans with the few bits of rubbish in them). Is this an unwanted side efect of the "can't be induced to attack each other" patch note? If so, can we have this fixed? It's already irritating enough that drones are barely underr your control;, all we need is *more* things they can't do.......
A related question- can they still repair each other? Logistics drones that is? -----------------------------------------------

I get a CTD at "Entering Character Selection". Without any warning it crashes. I got a brand new client install, tried on the old one also, both do the same. I had the same on SiSi a week ago, but that one fixed itself after few days somehow. I'll try to debug it, but don't think i'll find something.

I ran the debuger.
A buffer overrun has occurred in ExeFile.exe which has corrupted the program's internal state. Press Break to debug the program or Continue to terminate the program.
The last two entries in the call stack show this: >msvcr80.dll!7813bbf2() [Frames below may be incorrect and/or missing, no symbols loaded for msvcr80.dll]
The disassembly stops here: 7813BBF2 and dword ptr ds:[781C4940h],0
Also since my first reply here, it worked for certain time and then suddenly stopped. I haven't done anythin to fix it, and nothing to fubar it again. I get CTD before login screen, after login screen, at char selection...
Really anoying.
Additional to that i have 2 chars stuck people and places, it worked on other two, that are on same accounts as the not working ones.

Blood raider 10/10 complex is half done, it has no overseers apart from the last level which just drops an empty wreck with nothing in and unsalvageable and some gates have odd names like "room4" and there are no information messages. The whole thing seems have complete
Bug reported as well (before release as well, but still nothing done)

CONTRACTS: Well needed and I immediately took advantage of its niftiness upon login. I had been excited about it from the start and after a good look through it, I'm impressed. :)
CHAT FLAGS: Epic win. This makes watching local for hostiles much easier at a glance.
SEAMLESS MAP: If possible, I wish a player could have the possibility to revert to the "classic" map. Call me obsessive-compulsive, but the seamless map's "top" is flipped from the classic map. Jovians used to be northeast and the Amarrians southwest. Now, Jovians are northwest and Amarrians southeast. As stupid as it sounds, that caused me to lose all sense of direction. That, and I know I'll eventually get annoyed at having to wait for the zoom effect to complete...
INSTAJUMP REMOVAL: Congrats on coming to a solution about instajumps! That allowed me to free lots of space in my folders and will make navigating that much easier.

probably posted here already but show info on ships in space hangs sometimes ... and when i tried to enter a 2/10 complex that appeared in my home s ystems space ...both times it hung and I CTD with a wierd message about how server thinks you have logged out right before I CTD.
I know I know I should bug report/petition it but I havent yet. If both still occur today I will

I'm already tired of it, and I haven't even seen it on TQ yet (only seen it on Sisi)! The zoom effect takes WAY too long, and to make it even worse, you have to see it BOTH when you open the map AND when you close it again. It looks good, but it is annoying as hell!!!
PLEASE make an option so we can turn it off the animation completely!

Besides the CTDs, I guess its ok.
Corp Role and Title Management: I distinctly remember that there were suppose to be "improvements" in this area, and the tracking is a good start. However with 15 (20?) titles and all the divisional roles, the setting of roles within the corp IS A MESS. You cannot even fit the screen on a widescreen monitor to view everyone's roles at one time. This seriously needs a UI upgrade.

the wrecks is currently putting me off missioning completely, I just really dont think its fun at all to go from emtpy wreck to empty wreck and see if some loot dropped, and I have no clue if ive even been to a wreck or not, killing them for my lowbie takes quite some time so.. added time to search thru wrecks, added time to kill wrecks to keep track of them..
Not a good solution at all and fix this as fast as possible please, at least flag the checked ones, or empty ones or something, anything, whatever that makes it easier to loot, its a pain in the arse right now.

1. White flash after jumping throug gate. 2. Camera resets to 0 after jump through gate. VERYY annoying! 3. Tractor beam bugged. Smth like laser glow across the screen when having camera 0-20km behind the ship. 4. "+" icons in local smtimes mismatched, eg i c "+" on myself. 5. Warping to 0 to stations is unstable. Quite often u land 1-2km away from station, which cancels instadock possibility. I think i gonna save all my instastation BMs instead of using this dumb "... to 0"

According to patch notes, only skills and modules of new-style gang leaders still work (regular member skills and modules are disregarded).
Maybe you can try to elevate your gang to a new-style gang, make the skill / module owner lead, check if it works after that.
I tested this a few days back. Gang skills and mindlinks do work - even get 15% gang bonus now with mindlink! - but your skilled character needs to be squad leader in a new-style fleet. (Gang bonus for fleet or wing commander apparently doesn't work for squads unless all command slots in chain filled)

All the new features look good on paper, but really suck in actual gameplay.
Stop trying to fix things that aren't broken (ie basic scanning), as you just make them worse. It was fun to actually use some of my real world skill to track down a player using the basic scanner. Would be nice if you added some features that actually used player skill.
As a real complaint. Please put the radar image of the system back on the directional scanner...it's **** near pointless without it. A better idea would be to put back the old basic scanner that picks up everything, but lower it's range if you want balance.

One easy lvl 4 mission took me twice as long as usual because in order to find out which wrecks had loot, I had to check each. Everything you blow up now leaves a wreck, instead of only the ships with loot. I understand that by wasting slots on my ship I can probably salvage these wrecks (slots better used for combat mods is my reading of "rigs"), but like everyone else here I do not see the need to force players to inspect every wreck for pre-patch loot, and to make us blow these things up in order to determine whether or not we've checked it yet. This was well-intentioned, but clearly implemented without any regard to agent missions and agent mission runners. Can you imagine what a nightmare missions like the lvl 4 Extravaganzas will be now, just because of the looting?
If CCP wants mission runners to take this new salvage system seriously, they need to modify it or add filters/options for us. Otherwise, many of us, especially those of us doing lvl 4s, may stop looting altogether and just do missions for the bounties. What's the point in looting when it will double or triple the amount of time required to do the missions, in return for loot/salvage that may amount to a fraction of the bounties?
I stopped looting missions after checking the first 6 wrecks of my first mission last night, and only finding 100 rockets in one of the wrecks. I won't be wasting time trying to loot wrecks till this issue is resolved, which is very unfortunate, and a huge step backwards in my opinion.

Great job with the patch and thank you.
But drone control is poor. Drones will randomly target on their own instead of following commands to attack a specific target. This happens with every sized drone so far.
The items screen when docked is linked with the wreckage window when undocked. This causes the user to resize/move the windows constantly. ------------------------------------- Live long, fly safe. |

Peoples "simple" solution to this by tagging or destroying looted wrecks is not simple because it's causing more work than was previously needed. Also having to close a wreck's loot window is a step backwards because before it would automaticly close because the can popped. Can anyone direct me to a thread that specifically discusses the issues with getting connected to the game, screwed up P&P folders, missing buttons, mislocated addressbook icons, etc.? I apologize if that thread is supposed to be here, but I'm not seeing where CCP is responding to the questions.

Congrats CCP on the best update yet :)
Although....like others have said; can something be done about the wrecks - I'm put off missioning at the mo and that's not good :(
Also, can we have options to revert the map back to the old stylee or at least let it stay flattened when chosen - and to get rid of the stars - space used to be so cool and pretty- now it's looking a little cheap and tacky - not good :(

My guess is that all CCP developers are busy with one of the following: A. Sleeping after the double all-nighter yesterday. B. Knee-deep in the code fixing bugs.
Give them a bit of time. The first week after a major expansion is always like this.....

Great job Devs! My only complaint is about wrecks (did I loot it or not??)... but based on all the complaints, I'm sure you'll do something to fix them. There should be a poll asking people which fixes they want you to focus on first.

White Flash on jumping system
Anyone else seeing a sudden white flash when you jump system, haven't to see if its been reported here but ebery time I jump I see a white flash - starting to turn my brain to putty.

Like most everyone says, the Wreck thing needs to be fixed. Interestingly, on a Mission to recover Reports, the rat left a wreck, but dropped the reports in a can. That would make some sort of sense if made the norm, though still leaving heaps of scrap littering the screen.
One odd problem for me, my Clone LOST points, leaving me short of my SP total.

Having overview issues.
Played around with the new overview settings in detail and discovered some oddities.
First bug: As an example. I wanted to test the situation where you have a member of your corp who has gone "rogue".
1) I ordered my colortags so that horrible standing came on the list before corp mates. Horrible was set orange, corp mates green 2) Got a mate to warp to me 3) Loaded pvp overview settings that show only hostiles 4) Set corp standings to my mate to -10 5) No change at all, ok maybe its just a timing issue 6) Changed personaly standings to -10 7) Corp mate goes to orange in local, colourless in space, and does not appear on the overview...lol. 8) By showing corp mates in my overview settings I got him on the overview, but this time he was green.
So he had three colours. Local was orange from his -10 standing, in space he was neutral, and in overview he was green
Second bug: Small colortags.
At the start of the testing my corp mate could not see any tag on any person in space at all. He had removed all background colors, and ticked all the colortags, but they refused to show.
When he clicked the small colortags option, the colortags now suddenly appears (but were the full size ones). Unticking the show small colortags option made all his tags disappear again.
This is a bug I have experienced in the past...at least the fix for this one is to just push the button until you get what you want, then leave it alone
