The March release has been deployed on March 9th during an extended downtime. To report issues with the release on PC, please post in this thread.
This release brings a whole host of changes to New Eden, including increased Drifter activity in Drifter wormhole systems, along with new boosters, more module tiericide and tweaks to ECM and ECCM, changes to the watch list system, the introduction of Project Discovery, user interface and camera improvements, new skills in preparation for the release of Citadels and new Stasis Grappler modules.
The full details of all changes and improvements are available in the March release patch notes.
For general discussion and feedback regarding the March release, please use the general feedback thread. For Mac users, there is, as always, a thread on the Macintosh forums for discussion of this release.

- entities added with neutral standing do not show the neutral tag in Peoples & Places.
- The camera in stations moves up and down all the time way more extreme than it used to before this patch (the old camera, mind you) (if it moved up/down at all). This is prominently noticeable on small ships.
- Switching shows closes my Ship/Item hangar windows with every switch between ships.

I would like to say Project Discovery is somewhat disappointing. Good idea, but... Even in the tutorial there are wrong classifications. For example you can get sample 100000009: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4262011/2016.03.09.12.40.34.png
We can see no speckles and obv. can see nucleoplasm. But it tells we are wrong. How can we get even 50% accuracy with such a bad decision system?
p.s. I've told about this problem for SiSi but had no answer =( |

However, this tutorial sample has the correct solution.
This is the explanation you get when you hover over the exclamation mark in the tutorial results screen:
"These cells have signal in the nucleoplasm, but notice how variable it is. This highly uneven texture indicates speckles. This is not to be confused with bodies which have clear borders, should be clearly separated, and have relatively uniform shape."

At least the sound can be fixed by turning "UI interaction" to 0. This also turns off this utterly useless jingle when you do something in your cargohold, which only plays once, but never again.

Just got back to eve after a little break.
Some nice interesting changes happening.
However, two points of concern:
1 - Why oh why do I now have to click "track" to track targets with the camera? Why are you making work for us?
2 - Please for the love of everything, don't make me ever force me to use the new D-scan / probe scanner
BTW - LOVE the new launcher!
Apols if this is a feedback for a previous patch... these are my immediate concerns.

Thanks for the clarification! Someone told that in "Submission History" we can look at our submissions. I would like to look at samples of my failish (those are giving -accuracy%) samples, but can't see any picture - only numbers. Will there be such a functionality? Or maybe it's already implemented? |

Still AWOL, some from CCP promises, others just sensable that are being ignored.
1. Region Description Flavor Text still not back in place as promised nearly 2 years ago after 'accidental' removal. 2. Set of customizable icons for Overview tabs still not in place as we, the customer base, were promised after the Icongate debacle. 3. Dark Opaque color setting still not in place after ongoing requests for it to be an option. 4. An Industry window that's more smooshable so it's not a screen space hog. I like that it's not so confusing as when I started, but seriously, that thing eats space and won't scale smaller.
Things that could help, or could go away and not break my heart.
1. A mass delete or remove from contact list option. Since you nerfed my grudge list with the change, at least let me clean it out faster than one entry at a time. Not efficient as it stands.
2. This gong and X is rather distracting, LOUD, and out of sync. The target name hangs around a second or two after it's smak, the gong is too loud (let it go, go away), and as a side note, I keep expecting to see Bob Gelgoff prance across the screen to let the thugs run rampant after the concert. Both this bong/gong and big X don't seem to be high priority on the request and change lists (if I'm wrong and there was a mass outcry for this, please show the graph or feedback that called for this addition to an ever-crowding UI), while there are plenty of other spots in the game client coding that could've used that TLC on them instead.
Will give the new shiny camera of nausea induction another serious flight check in a couple days, after the bugs this release connected to it are smashed out of the way.

We do not offer that functionality right now, we will have to wait and see if it will ever be an option, although it sounds really nice. :) |

I look at the known issues part of the new camera. Why did it get set back as default when...
1. It's still nowhere near ready for primetime. 2. It's bugged to Hek and back by your own admission. 3. It's still a pretty form over a working functional crucial part of the game.
I turned it back to off, using the 'Classic' camera as it does it's job quite efficiently without a bunch of shiny bells and whistles. I'll give it a week or so, let you smak the bug infestation, then see if it's worth using full time. That way my bias against it is lessened as much as possible.

I can't change the audio or disable the audio for the SCOPE CQ video. I get the audio at the same volume no matter where I'm at in CQ, even out by the observation deck. If there's an option, I couldn't find it despite trying all the sliders. The only solution was disable audio or reducing master volume to zero.

Its been answered here before, and I also put this in the general feedback thread but here goes again:

The camera is broken again. Before this patch, when using the new camera, I could use Alt+1 to re-center the camera after accidentally panning. Now when I use Alt+1 to reset the camera, it zooms in as if I used "Look at my own ship."
I can't test this new camera for you in this state. I'm reverting to old camera.

Concerning the buddy list mechanics:
When I add someone to my buddy list, and then they add me, they get immediate notification of my online status, but I don't get anything until one of us logs out and back.
Also, if I remove someone from my buddy list, they continue to see me as online even if I log out.
Obviously you need to include some additional alerts so that when the mutual connection is made, both parties are updated to online status. Likewise when the mutual connection is revoked (by one party changing the buddy list) the other party should immediately get a notification that the person has gone offline.

When in station, if you disable camera bobbing the background stops moving up and down but the ship itself continues to go uuuppppp anndddd dooooowwwnnnn and uuuupppppp annndddd dooowwwwnnnn. Nothing in the options makes it stop and with the load station environment option removed I guess I'll have no other choice now than to cover my entire screen with windows when docked up to prevent getting sea sick. Would be nice to know if anyone ever paid any attention to it in the feedback thread since other issues received responses yet this one never did even though I mentioned it multiple times in more than one thread.

As I just had this again with the PD downtime notice: When I click on the notification tooltip, the counter for the notification widget does not disappear. I need to click on the widget to make the counter disappear. That's been a long standing issue and should be resolved.

It's driving me round the bloody bend. I have now lost count of the number of times I have used multibuy, jumped the JF to desto, unloaded it and started fitting ships up, only to find that by number 4 of 9 ships I have run out of at least one module needed for the fitting. I thought that with the improvements to multibuy that you were releasing today, this issue might be fixed. It is most definitely not a case of the modules simply not being on market as I am buying them in Jita (of all places, this one does not run out of "medium trimark armor pump I")
Please can you sort this out! It's driving me multipotty!!!!!!!!

Other new nausea inducing effect made it from test server to live as well I see...
When using tracking camera GOD FORBID it make a straight line from the direction it's currently pointing towards what you want to look at. Instead it moves in an arc with absolutely no explanation or purpose. I explained this once in last month's feedback thread but I'll do it again... motion sickness is induced when the brain picks up on movement that cannot be accounted for by the other senses. If what you eye's see is moving in odd directions, bouncing up and down or otherwise wobbling around then the brain gets confused and says "I didn't do that and I don't know why it happened" and nausea sets in. Please change it back and stop with the pointless attempts at "cinematic" b.s.

This delay from when a target dies and when it disappears from your locked targets is really irritating. Not only does it move targets around just a split second too late so that I so far regularly click into the void when I want to click on another target, it also gives the incoherent impression away that the max logged targets are longer blocked if you have the max number locked and need to lock the next target, while you already can lock another target. This kind of forced error source and ship loss mechanic really is getting on my nerves. First the map, then the camera, now even locked targets ...
.. and sounds as well. Now I need to turn off all UI interaction sounds in order to not hear tons of gongs when I hunt NPC, which in turn also off important things like the drag sound when you drag a character between chats or objects between cans.
Another weird bug with the new noob red flashy x animation is that it restores armor hull and shield in a random order to the dying target. Ships (only tested it with NPC so far) literally die with half armor and some shield.

Finally got done screwing with the camera so I decided to go get a taste of this new "gong" everyones talking about. ROFLOL is this supposed to be a joke? I really can't provide any feedback on this feature beyond "You're kidding right?"
The X icon I can deal with, whatever at least that helps me identify if a target exploded or warped away, but a gong? Please send it back to the prop department and bury it. Bury it in a deep deep deep hole.

ECCM Upgrade.
ECCM Modules were replaced by Sensor Boosters. There are a couple issues with this. 1) Sensor Boosters require different skills than ECCM. Need a couple days training to be able to use the Sensor Boosters. Note the end of the world, but is little frustrating. Would have been nice to have the skill added or at least been given a lower meta item that i could actually use.
2) Sensor Boosters require a script (that can't be bought in my region) to turn them back into an ECCM. Would have been nice if the ECCM module when converted had a ECCM script added to it . . .
Is there going to be any resolution to this. Should i petition or just deal with it?

Well that makes at least two missions bugged so far. Maybe it's best to stop missioning until this stuff gets patched (hopefully) tomorrow.

It ruins the immersive feel of the game totally and when ratting frigates, the damn thing is going off every 20 seconds.

If someone has moon mining poses please check your silo capacity. Currenty i have 20 000m3 silo cargo size on gallente pos(shold be 40k cause 100% silo capacity bonus). And some poses have overfilled silos with 24000 of 20000 moon matherials. Seems it's only UI bug cause on pos tick i see increasing moon matherials amount in silo. |

Shift+C will toggle auto tracking on, please try that.

Added a new account, but it appears a login token is no longer stored locally, despite having checked the box for the account to be remembered. As such, I'm unable to launch EVE clients from the commandline anymore using CliLauncher unless I have an existing token still (which I did for the other accounts).
Granted, I don't know if this is specifically the result of today's update, but I did discover this today. |

Doesn't look like there are many of those scripts available in any region and the ones that are out there are way overpriced. Will just be avoiding combat with ECM boats for a while I guess.

I tried to file bug report on this issue but there is something wrong with the bug report system. Anyway, i just posted the issue here.
The issue relates to Tactical Overview graphic. When in Tactical Overview mode, a line will be drawn between your ship and the target. After the patch today, I noticed the line will disappear when you switch from one target to another (by right clicking on the target).
To get the line to be shown again, you need to re-toggle the Tactical Overlay, i.e., turn off and turn on the Tactical Overlay.
I am sure this is a bug - not a 'feature' since this works fine prior to patch today. |

Has anyone mentioned that when changing ships in a pos from a sma you get pop ups telling you that all your modals can not be fitted. if you open your fitting window all your stuff is not listed as well.
It is detecting your modals from your last ship and thinking it is on your new ship there for it needs to remove them.. very frustrating
this is in wormhole space if that matters

Also i clicked like 50 times on the "could not load file" "yes" button, it appears every 30sec again.

Not sure where to start with this one but there seems to be issues with the logic or mechanics of the new Buddy List.
I am currently offline yet a Corp member see me online. The char had to log off and on again for this status to update correctly.
I have added a char to buddy list (from Corp) and i see them online yet they (who had me on their list originally before the patch) sees me offline when i am online.
I recommend you look at the mechanics of this new buddy list system.

I can pull up the prob scanner on screen by short cut, but when i close it, it will not be located to left of the HUD.
If you check the use new camara in settings then i have all the options to left of the HUD.

The issue with missing filters in the new Probe Scanner window is still there. This has been preventing me from moving to the new Dscan/Probe interface since it first launched.
I am missing the Ship filter, which seems to be hard locked to "ON". Another one of my characters is missing the Structure filter, which makes it virtually impossible to use combat probes, as I am unable to filter out PoS structures form the list.
Already submitted numerous bug reports about this. At the moment I can still have the old scanners to fall back on, but if this isn't fixed by the time they are removed, then I'll effectively have two characters that will be unable to use combat probes. |

I don't know about other sites, but in Superior Sleeper Caches I got no notification on which location I was warping in (the pop-up window telling you Solar Power Plant o Sentries on Duty). I entered the Solar Power Plant area, but again I got no notification when placing the disc from the Observational Unit into the proper Alignment Unit.
This already happened last November, but as I lost my ship then, today I didn't feel like checking if only the notifications were missing but the site was working properly, or everything was screwed. :)

Two big issues.
1) Silos and Coupling Arrays don't get the 100% bonus installed in gallente towers. My towers suddenly only have 1/2 the space.
2) in Sov, while a station is IN-vulneralbe - reds were able to entosis the station and disable services. I didn't see anything about that one in the release notes.

Problems.
1. First undock of a login, the blacked out screen lasts a full 8 seconds (used a stopwatch for better accuracy on the delay) A LOT can happen in 8 seconds off a station base. Please get this fixed, it's been around for a while now (several months) and keeps getting worse, not better.
2. Each time I use the Launcher it does an entire checking shared rescache check. Again. This bug keeps popping back up. Why? Still using older Launcher as the Beta Launcher has it's own bug hunting lists. Causes uneeded delay when switching from one account to another since I do not multi-box.
3. Game client feels overall noticeably laggy. Ponderous. Taking it's sweet time to follow input commands from keyboard or mouse. Ponderous is not a good word to substitute Epic with. (Epic Space Battles! does not equal Ponderous Space Battles!) Can the game client get up to full speed again, very soon?
4. Mouse cursor not responding correctly still happens now and again. Originally I noticed this when Frostline launched. This is not happening in any other MMO or websites, so I point at the game client as the source of this ongoing issue. So far my workaround is to shut off then back on my wireless mouse. Been very lucky to not have this occur when my ship's survival is at stake... so far...
5. Please remove the bong hit reminder tone. Too loud, not needed, not on it's own toggle/slider so I can silence it and not lose other sounds I need.
6. The syncing of the animation with the big X on dying targets gets further from true-center the longer a fight happens. Takes up too much time as it is, with the delay that builds with each target smoked, fast targeting and pewing becomes frustrating in a rat nest fumigation. |

I had one sample that I marked as Nucleoli (fibrillar center), but the correct answer was nuclear speckles. Okay.
The next sample was clearly nucleoplasm, and I marked it as such. It came back with the results from the previous sample! i.e. N(fc) wrong, NS right - no mention of my selected nucleoplasm. |

Thanks! *DONG* I actually kinda like the x icon. Eliminates confusion in larger fleet fights as to whether a target was destroyed or just warped away. That gong though....

The old camera IS going to be completely removed. This is fact and it's not gonna change and apparently the only way to get ppl to give feedback is to set it to default otherwise no one turns it on. The tiny handful of ppl who have provided feedback prior to it being turned on by default apparently just isn't enough of a sample pool to base decisions on.

Noticed this immediately post-patch from the March update
When swapping ships in a POS, an error message comes up indicating that (random module or rig) cannot be fitted, and that module or rig is then deleted from the ship, and is not present in the ship hold, offline in the fitting window (but may be seen in the activation slots).
Doesn't matter if the slots / rigs are Tech I, Tech II or meta.
Bug Report ID: EBR-71222
So, if you live in a POS for any reason, check fits when swapping ships in a SMA.
The problem appears to be graphical in nature, as the missing modules are still present in hotkey slots (F1 etc), and can still be activated. |

ALSO, started getting notice that this rig couldn't be fitted, and I notice quite a drop on my EHP on that ship. Now, i know changes to DC will affect that but it seems to me that bonus from rigs that a toon doesn't have skill for DOESN'T apply at all. is that possible? is that intended?
Lastly, WITH the disappearing module bug comes another one, the warning told me that I couldn't put on one module because it was missing PG AND put that module off (and rendered it invisible in the fitting window) logged off and on and not only the module was back but back ONLINE and fitting clearly showing that I could, in fact, run it .
My guess, something's f*cked in the BiaB.
We DO sometime need to switch ship FAST. Can't do with disappearing modules are wrongly put off because :false reason:

For some modules and in some circumstances, the overheat state does not turn off when you dock or jump gates. My Fleeting web remained overheated after a dock/undock and 2 gate jumps.

Seige Modules now consume 375 Units of Stront base per cycle up from 250, down to 250 with LV V Tactical Reconfiguration. That's a 100% increase in required stront a halving of the number of Triage cycles that can be carried.
That's between 1050m3 and 750m3 of Stront per cycle, on a ship with only 2500 m3 cargo.
Triage got hammered, going from 75 Units after skill of stront for T2 Triage, to 175, a 133 % increase.
And the reduction of stront volume from 3 to 2 that was supposed to happen alongside the addition of stront to fuel blocks, didn't.
Oh and none of this was in the patch notes. What's up CCP? Did we cap pilots offend you somehow that you had to not only nerf the number of stont cycles we could carry, but you had to sneak it in secretly without mentioning it?

( says resources loading ) Is this a known bug, or part of my slow network? Also, saw that barges weren't loading, neither is the rorqual or the iteron V :)

Switching from the tracking camera takes longer now - before the patch I could just click + drag to look around and the camera would move immediately, now it does a weird little zoom and it takes a second until i have control over the camera. Fleet boosts seem to be "sticking" to ships even after squad / fleet commander has turned off the links (or even reshipped). Seem to have to have fleet members reship to sort that out. Not sure if it's just not updating the UI of fleet members, or if the link is actually still having effect. Stopped testing as potentially dicey to investigate further. One of my corpies has subbed a bug report for that one (he's more eloquent than I) but we've experienced it across a total of 7 accounts during tests.
That bong noise on kills - that's more irritating than boot.ini was. Mute option would be nice. |

There used to be a camera zoom that was done by holding down control and left and right mouse buttons held while dragging.. I'm not sure the proper name for that zoom.. but that seems to no longer work, will functionality be added back eventually?
It doesn't work in station either... it used to work everywhere. I used to be able to zoom really close in and really far out with that. Doesn't even work now when new camera is turned off in the settings... |

To my knowledge this problem is really old. Any case, You can take new guns under control after selecting relinguish control and the new guns will replace the old in the HUD. When you have relaesed all of the guns you can open PI/view planet and close that to force HUD to redraw (returns the ship modules). This is not optimal, but one can still defend pos with this UI. Just learn to use the broken UI.
Don't expect this to be fixed. New structures are replacing all of the pos code, thus this bug will go away eventually ;) |

When a target dies the text from the icon remains on screen for a few seconds after the flash finishes its cycle.
Please turn of the gong sound... it really doesn't need to be activated especially while ratting or for large fits. the secondary sound of the icon closing would be find though.

I logged on to my brand new POS that was running a batch of fuel blocks. When I got there, no job was in proccess, and the materiels were back in the bay. I'm not sure if any of them were missing, but my blueprint was missing!
Looked at all my stations, and cargo holds, My fully researched Minmatar Fuel block blue print is totally gone.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I left the new job running in my POS around this time last night. It was going to take about 8 hours to finish. |

I am not sure whether you have done something to the UI in this area, but on a very bright background, like the Domain nebula, you cannot see any text in the system name info, route, missions elements in the top left corner of the HUD. I am very certain that this was not that bad before yesterday's patch.

When do we get a 1980 sound affect over the top of ship explosions. Please good old CCP, this is not a ZX-100, Atari, Commodore 64, Amiga or vintage PC game.
If a ship explodes, just let it be the loud and immersive boom, if a cargo can disappears then a woosh as the can implodes. Nothing else. I think the sound will have to be turned off if Ihave to keep listening to this noise.

The scan effect of cargo/ship scanners needs to be fixed! This is an issue since the change to the effect: looking at the scanning ship from a certain angle makes the scan effect invisible. Now that we have to turn off sounds because CCP forcefully rings the death bell for every kill we do, one cannot even hear the geiger counter sound anymore for the scanning, thus watching for the scan effect is vital.
In fact, the same problem of invisible or very hard to see effects is present on armor hardeners. Their effect is almost not visible if you look at a ship from the side and only clearly visible if you look at it from the front. This also needs fixing.

Regarding the apparel: I looked wrong, they don't have a market group (yet?) but it appears to be possible to create sell contracts for them. Probably only if you have the actual item,

This poor pilot will have to spam the contract to get additional bids.

Once again I ask CCP. Keep the old camera as a working option, don't delete it. Not everyone is in a capital ship. Not everyone makes videos. Not everyone can adjust this new camera out of nausea inducing inertial delay, float, meandering, and fisheye lens view.
If you won't give us, the customer, things we've been promised over the last 2 (and probably longer) years, at least don't remove something that's a deal breaker to continue playing Eve for some of us. You pull the old camera, I gotta go for less motion sickness skies.

Since the patch, I cannot repackage more than one ship at a time. The following error occurs:
'We were unable to repackage all the requested items, please review the remaining items and try again.'
I did the following:
- Manufacture T3Ds in a POS - Assemble the ships in the Advanced Small Ship Assembly Array (enabled by a Bowhead in the vicinity) - Transport ships in said Bowhead - Move ships from Ship Maintenance Bay to Ship hangar in station (Jita 4-4) - Try repackaging more than 1 ship at a time - Mentioned error occurs
Before someone asks: the ships do not have rigs. I also cleared my cache files. |

There seems to be a problem with the jump/dock function not always working. For example, when "Jump" used to initiate warp to a stargate you sometimes do not jump upon landing, which while annoying for subcaps can cause a pretty huge problem for capitals when they bounce off the stargate. One guy I know of also landed 8,000 km from the stargate he warped to(not a typo, eight thousand). Has anyone else noticed any issues like this? |

zooming in and out of my ship no longer changes how loud or muted the sounds are. its hit or miss.... I can start ratting and its working fine then after some time, zooming in and out does not change the audio level at all, it stays loud like im zoomed all the way in on my shi;.
also, all of a sudden my targeting sound is very low. but the gong is so loud.

For the buddy list, might it be possible to have different trust levels?
Corporation Members Alliance Members +10 standings +5 standings Neutral -5 standings -10 standings
Then adjust the DEFAULT settings as follows:
Corporation Members: automatically visible on buddy list if you add them - unless THEY uncheck the box that shows their status to other corporation members.

Neutral and lower - do not appear on buddy list unless both parties set standings and agree to it.
Thus, for my main account, I could allow anyone I trust to see when I log in or out. But I may not want the entire corporation, alliance, or coalition to be able to see when I log in my Titan pilot, so I uncheck those options for him.
CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

I can't tell when a jam is successful.
Every jam attempt applies an opaque icon onto the target. Before, an unsuccessful jam was transparent and a successful jam was opaque.
Now they all look the same and it's too hard to tell if it's landing or not.
But with all the target locks I haven't broken with the many jam attempts thus far, I'm not even sure the "successful jam" icon is even needed because a successful jam is no longer an option. |

yesterday the workaround was logging out of the client and back into the game. sucked as it was, but today even that is not working. megaphone volume even when scrolled all the way out. (is there an adjustment that should change this, nothing i do seems to make a difference)
the gong is gone, thanks but the targeting sound is so low you cant hear it. especially over the other sounds that are on blast now even when scrolled all the way out.
I'm also finding i try to lock 6 or 7 targets and only the first one locks the rest have to be "re-locked" because it didn't work the first run.
and the damn captain quarters is still intrusively blabbing every time im in station - the workaround there is to go into the hanger bay to make it stop. annoying but not as bad as the other issues.
maybe stuff just needs to be adjusted on my side so I would love someone to tell me what might need to be updated. all i know is before the latest patch, no issue and the only changes I made since then is trying to fix these issues |

Last night while playing my camera got stuck at some askewed view. I could not pan the camera in any direction. Camera view modes would change but when returning back to my original view it was still stuck where I had left it. This continued for a few gate jumps and luckily there there was nothing on the gates waiting for me since my stuck view was not the direction i was flying. I happen to hit my mouse wheel and zoomed in and then back out. This seemed to unstick the view and did not encounter the issue again. |

While ratting in a Machariel I have come across an unusual & intermittent bug (only been a problem since patch).
My turrets are not auto-reloading once all projectiles loaded are used up.
I have checked all my settings & each turret is set to auto-reload.
I normally group my guns in the Mach 2-2-3 & sometimes the groups reload automatically & sometimes they do not. I tried completely ungrouping them but still same problem.
I also used to receive an audio message (as well as a visual one) advising guns empty but that sound is gone since the patch.
I have not tried this myself with other ships and/or weapon systems & those that I have asked have not had the same issue - guess I'm just lucky/unlucky.
PS - CCP my ears thank you for removing THE GONG. Ratting with headphones was becoming painful. Is the RED CROSS next? |

and whats about the performance/cpu/gpu nosferatu "rotate ship on station"? not every player have a high-end computer and a star trek like internet connection like you ccp...

Every time that I change ships or redock my item and ship hangars both close and I have to re-open them. This is rather annoying.
So I undock and run an anom. dock up to change to my noctis and my hangar is closed. I go up to my "E" menu and reopen then switch ships and it disappears again so go up and reopen so that I can clean out my noctis from the last time and undock only to have to reopen both of my hangars multiple times when I dock back up again. |

A few thing which i have sublimated a bug report:
1. The ecm effect. It cannot tell whether you jam the target successfully or not. The icons for success and fail are both the same, i think this should be a bug.
2. Why you change the camera zoom direction in station?? And no way for me to invert it back? wtf?
# Extra complains# you know eve players hate changes right? The animation of killing target still needs some improvement, a big red cross is awkward. But the new camera is actually usable and i am using it now. Thank you CCP and devs. |

I keep coming back trying to play only to be disappointed at all the broken **** each time. when will I be able to play eve again damnit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where i could spend 8-10 hours playing i can now only take 30-60 mins before im so frustrated i log out.
im getting the impression im the only one with these issues and they will not be fixed. Please CCP, set my expectations.... when will I be able to play Eve again?

6. The syncing of the animation with the big X on dying targets gets further from true-center the longer a fight happens. Takes up too much time as it is, with the delay that builds with each target smoked, fast targeting and pewing becomes frustrating in a rat nest fumigation.
^ This Plus, whenever those rats (be it in a belt or anomaly) start aggro on me the client goes so so so EXTREMELY laggy that I can't even move the screen a bit, I had the screen stuck there and the client didn't respond (it didn't show "stopped responding" or such but it simply didn't respond to even a mouse click) and waited, even watched a full 10 minute video only to realize I've been stuck there and after a couple more minutes it returned to normal FPS but the lag again spiked in the middle, I somehow managed to warp to POS with half shields on a drake. Ty CCP, I can't seem to rat anymore. |

Please can we again have the "do not load Stationenvironment". with 4 docked accounts my Graphicscard now happily burns watts to show me "you are docked".
Powerdraw on my play rig is now 100watt higher for no further content.
Especially on slower machines this has a big impact resulting in high GPU load and much lower FPS plus stuttering gameplay cause we cant dissable this eyecandy anymmore.
Please bring the toggle switch back - there is no need to force this eyecandy onto everyone when only docked.
Further thing noticed (all 4 accounts and 3 computers): Evertime you drag a assembled container in station to an space for showing its contents in a new wind and "move accross" the ship in hangar ... the ship in the background starts spinning cause the reaction is so laggy.
i got realy upset after noticing the reason why even a corpchat on an old computer (I3-540 + HD5450) suddenly resulted in nearly 100% GPU load (was @10%) and chat was so slow it felt like in a 10% Tidi system during a real 2k+ big brawl.
Had to drag an drop some things on this older machine between Containers and it nearly freezed for 5 minutes for showing "look my ship is spinning now".
PLEASE give us the Switch back. |

After March release DPS drops with T2 Burst Aerator rig fitted. More damage mods fitted, the greater dps drops.
Sansha Incursion fits was used for checking.
Without T2 Burst Aerator rig DPS more than before March release.
But with T2 Burst Aerator rig fitted DPS less than before March release.
It's working with any skills level/implant sets. Checked with the same skills level/implant sets, in game and in PYFA/EFT tools.
What happened? It's a bug? |

Please bring back the load station environment toggle. Even with just one client running my GPU temp is through the roof.
First time undocking on a client recovery from black screen takes anywhere between 8-20 seconds. Up to a point where I have been locked by another ship before I have recovered from black screen. Subsequent undocks still much longer than before the patch.
Right after logging in and while docked I have had up to 20 second load times on simple things such as show info on players, items and open character sheet. The game just feels very laggy and unresponsive. |

Are drone aggro issues back?
I launch heavy drones and the rats drop aggro on my ship every time. They pause for about 2-3 seconds and then go after the drones . The only way avoid loosing heavy drones is to orbit the target BS at 1000 m. I can then kill the BS and pull the drones before they take too much damage.
Before the recent release I could orbit at 30 km or so. Heavy's would rarely take damage and I could usually pull them back before destruction.
Not practical to use my Ishtar currently. Haven't yet tried adding ECM to hold drone aggro. Never had to on Hubs before.
Anyone else seeing this? |

On one client, doesn't seem to be an issue too much, but that was only in testing item movement. Because, on this client (2 separate PCs): I can't move items from ship to hangar/cargo container, or back (everything is stuck where it is) I can't get proper credit on Project Discovery because whatever I choose is ignored and my choice 3 ANSWERS AGO is counted, which is invariably wrong. Camera is still a pain in the butt Get kicked for socket closed out of the blue for no reason (other PC on same connection is just fine)
I'm sorry, but even ignoring the button spamming morons who are apparently color blind, this whole patch is a debacle. Only good thing from it so far is the combination of ECCM modules - and that is arguable depending on who you ask |

These drone aggro issues are gone now. There was a patch last night. I added an auto targeting system II, cleared cache. Not sure which made the problem go away.... or if it was just a random event.

Issue has been pretty consistent since the March deployment. I'd say 2 out of 3 attempts to switch at a tower result in this.

Is it just me or has the size of average text fonts shrunk that much smaller? I'm getting tired of having to fly with Squint-o-vision.
Since it's a known problem with the scaling, setting change from 100% to 90% would lose screen space and not solve the problem of the ever shrinking text. I have the 11 setting in place but that's not seeming to make much of a difference anymore on all the tiny drop downs, tab overs, or checking details on module or ship stats.
Can the font size go back up a bit to something more readable without giving out headaches? If I have to sukk it up and deal with the new camera only in a month or so, can the words become readable without nose smudges on my monitor?
Packing more into smaller spaces isn't efficient, if someone has to then slow down to translate half-pixel-wide lettering. (yes i know that can't technically exist, but that's what the wording looks like now!)

Using classic camera because the new one sucks when using that one's "tracking" mode on two monitors. That and I still hate the lack of being able to free-pan the cam with right-click.

i still have all types of audio problems that come and go with me doing nothing diff. tried a few times to enter bug reports in game, crashes client... online gives me an error. sometimes re-logging fixes, sometime re-docking fixes, sometimes nothing fixes. I really do not enjoy eve when I have to play muted. seriously getting sick of all the recent issues.
it would be nice if I can hear when i target/lock something or when im being engaged. |

Project Discovery is suuuuper buggy. Aside from being extremely slow to respond, often the results page will enter the results from your previous trial instead of the current ones.
As of yesterday I could run through slides at about 1/3 proper speed because it would freeze or glitch out so often, forcing to close and often reopening. That was super annoying but doable if you were dedicated (but not really acceptable for something advertised as a game feature).
However as of this morning it no longer opens at all. |

I am finding that, while I would love to play with Project Discovery, once again CCP's hate on for people who are color blind makes it impossible for me to do so.
I am severally red/green color blind and so I can not see the differences in the cells well enough to play this new little game. This isn't the first time which CCP's desire to use the colors red/green for everything has affected me i.e the fun with trying to find a color scheme for my windows I can see without wanting to cry or the inability to select my own colors for things, such as rats LOL I usually have to wait for something to shoot me first 
If it would be possible to perhaps consider this issue in Discovery and make it so we can change the colors and in future endeavors it would be greatly appreciated by those of us who possess color-blind issues.

Do not forget, your 'Buddy' has to place you in their list as well. If you are adding them to your list but they do not reciprocate and and you to their list then they will always appear offline.

Yes, 10 seconds black screen here as well! I was once killed before I came out of my black screen. No chance to warp to my safe undock. Very annoying.
Thought it was specific to Mac users, because a friend on Windows has only 2-3 sec black screen after undock...
However, the scaling issue is related to the 'old' camera mode only. It is solved for the new camera modes. |

No formation of anything but an outline to the launcher. Unable to log in at all. Restarted computer. Launcher will "form" after 45 seconds of "not responsing" and then lock up.

The marquee select has not worked for me since it was first added to the game. The issue seems to stem from the fact that as I drag the marquee box, once I release the mouse button the box is still there. I need to click again to remove the marquee box. Has anyone else had this issue in game or is it just me? I can't seem to find any posts about it so I'm starting to think it's just me having this issue.
PS If a dev wants to contact me I did create a support ticket (Support Request #151988) that's been sitting untouched for about 6 days now. |

I have had this at least 20 times. I have to re-log to get overview settings back. I have cleared cache and settings. I have uninstalled eve and reloaded a clean copy. Still happening.
I do not know if I can jump gates. I do not know if I will have anything in overview when I get to other side. This makes the game unplayable.
Anybody got any helps/tips?

As I write I am again stuck in transit between systems over 5 mins now. Ship de-cloaked (by timer) still getting tunnel graphic. Nothing in overview. Clicking the tabs does not help for me.
All this after a reload of game.
Slightly at wits ends as surely reloading should give me a "clean" version.

Well, after much mucking about the answer is - its the new camera.
On both my chars if I use the new camera I will at some point (3 to 15 jumps) lose everything in all tabs of my overview.
Since I have set them to using old camera I have not had an issue.

And the random socket closed disconnects are still a thing: A day ago, I had 2 Socket Closed disconnects on both of my online chars, one was in space orbiting and linking a command node, one was sitting in station. So still not solved at all. The frequency has dropped a bit, but they still happen in the most unfortunate situations.
