It was slightly dramatized though.
48 hours is "rushing" it in MC terms, but we've deployed in under 24 hours before. All it takes is a couple of people that are almost always online at nights to put some cyno chars in place and be online the next two nights and a post on the forum for capital ships so they know when to log on, how many topes and from there on it's a go.
The way Seleene put it makes it a lot more heroic though! Cellphones, yarr! :) -

Originally by: Huge Ox As allways an excellent write up got to admit I allways love reading the after/during reports by Seleene.
This is the 1st time i have used cap ships in anger and when we got the call to move to Lxw i promptly bought a Moros (thanks waywatcher) and got it to Lxw ready (well i thought it was ready). I joined my 1st ever cap ships fleet and assisted the rest of the alliances in putting Pos into reinforced at the same time wondering wth is siege time 9 ??? then to top that off on the jump out i go to the wrong cyno and find myself under fire from a friendly pos. All in all not the best start for a new dred pilot god knows what the fc was thinking. My next experience was stoppng the assault on a tower as a large hostile force was incoming and to change to carriers wtf ??. Having done so we were cyno'd onto the gate in the middle of a very large hostile force . Much fighting ensued but thanks to some excellent Fc'ing we held the field.
Thanks mc for the training :) the fun on ts and the awesome FC'ing and for not screaming at the noob dred pilot Respect Huge Ox
Comments like this make it worth it to FC. Thanks for the kind words and well done on stepping in there in your new 2-3b ship and going for it.
It takes balls, next time it will be a lot easier for you! :) -

Great contract with alot of fun - this war had everything! Small skirmishes with small gangs, medium sized encounters and hughe fleet battles. This war is right up there together with the very best memories I have from Eve.
Big kudos to all the FCs who tirelessly kept on going OP after OP, and to all the pilots who fought for so long without hardly ever complaining or looking back.

I have to say thanks to MC for an amazing experience. During the fight for Fade I learned countless new tactics and strategies. Then for the time I was in Branch I had the pleasure to be Fc'ed by Nubiam, whos competitions (janus rake anyone? ) relieved the boring 'waiting-for-hours-on-end-in-a-pos' part of the campaign. It was a plearue to fly with you guys

One of the more amusing parts of this war for me was when we we're attacking an offline FLA POS the support gang we're brought in to speed up the attack, someone decided my nag looked like the minmatar control tower and spent a good 2 minutes shooting me before I mentioned if they would mind hitting the tower and now me
Oh and FLA get the award for most colourful POS setups

What a fantasitc write up - really good read.
Flying alongside MC pilots, is something i am sure many of the alliances pod pilots will remember, as a learning experience, an experience in patience, an experience of expert fcing, an experience in writing Haiku's while camping gates for hours, and simply put - as an experience itself.

Large Starbases: 144 killed / 2 lost Medium Starbases: 19 / 0 Small Starbases: 14 / 0
Motherships in Build: 2 killed / 1 lost
In eighty days the MC-led invasion of the North resulted in the takeover of twenty-three enemy stations and outposts and the displacement / destruction of nearly a dozen alliances, four of them major claimers of territory.
If you dont include your allies your stats are false and therefore a lie which is surprising from MC.
However, how do you call this a victory when you are the biggest entity in eve (bob, mc, fatal, tri, axe and a whole host of losers)? While you hide behind bob, etc your achievements are meaningless, grow a pair and cut the leash, or join BoB otherwise STFU
Bitter much?
First of all why would they include other entities that have helped them out? There not MC's stats are they? No. If the other entities decide to make a report on there attack on the north I am sure they will include there stats for you.
The alliance was not the biggest entity in the game the coalition WAS at the start of this " great war ". MC have no need to hide behind bob, they where hired to do a job, they did it and did it well how exactly is that hiding behind bob? Infact I think the only people from bob who went up north where an RKK roaming gang and a titan now and again. The capitals behind d2, rzr, MM etc was a capital fleet much larger than MC but yet MC had the balls to actually use theres.

Fantastic work - raises the bar for these kind of reports.
The game at this level is 100% a sandbox, and we all combine to create the game content we pay for.
The past few months have been intense, and sometimes insane. They've also been the most fun I've had in the game.
With that in mind I must thank the guys below for providing this game content:
- My corp mates in Eternity, and alliance mates in MC. Is always an honour flying with you, look forward to the next one.
- Our FCs. You guys know who are you. You number amongst the best in the game. <3.
- Our allies in AXE, F4T4L, Corellum, ****, TRI, RIOT, YW, without whom this could not have happened.
- Our "enemies". Eve's a lot more fun when you are shooting at people / people are shooting at you, so I must thank our reds, those guys who played the Indians to our Cowboys. D2, RZR, FLA, Sparta. Thank you for the fights and the memories. It wouldnĘt have happened without you.
Now? Primary is Kaikka Puenato, and his evil legions
