Well like all other corporate mergers, it more or less is simply a matter of logo switching and profits going into different pockets. BBB is Telenor in logo only... The rest is still the same.
iPod LoSec - The guy who ate spoonfulls of dung for arguing that this was the problem 6 pages back, ...and that it wouldnt be solved till monday. <sigh>.

I talked to BBB earlier today, around 1300H local time. At first he said there was nothing wrong with the tracert (about 5 seconds after I gave him the IP) but after I persisted he want to talk to some other people. When he got back he said it had allready been reported and that they were working on it. I told him to put some pressure on Telenor so they would fix it.
He could not tell me when the problem would be solved, but hoped it would not drag out for 2-3 weeks like it did last time.
3 skills completed last night after the connection died... First thing monday, my company mobile supscription leaves Telenor for another provider. At least that will make me feel better.

You just change a setting in prefs.ini and specify a different server to connect to, which in turn will relay you to the real EVE server.

All credit to Uhr for providing a way to connect but people should not have to be using proxies to connect to TQ. My normal connection route has been working since march last year and suddenly stops for no reason over a week ago.
This crap is completely unacceptable, i dont give a flying toss what patch problems CCP are having. This problem started before REV II and they still have not given any explanation.

Would it be possible for CCP to put up a proxy server (or a few of those) for people with this problem to use while this mess is clearing up? I mean, if a single preson can do it, i dont see why they would have a problem with achieving that, unless I am missing something, since I have little knowledge in such things.

Without appearing to be a complete ****** how does this proxy idea work? I connect to another sever which redirects to the CCP servers? This solves the problem by using a differnt route to the CCP servers? Thus avoiding the problem telnor router(s)?
Spawinte you seem to be closer (geographically as well as methaphorically) to my problem (see previous posts) Have you any luck?

like i said the people from norway and sweden go true the same route to england .. well the rute is the shortest .. that mean ,... the router on the other side ( englands ruter ) is bugt or broken ... well what can we no .. nothing .. the only one that can do somthing is ccp .. call there isp ... do they gonna do thise .. mhhh i dont think they read this post or somthing else since ther is still no comment from .. them but if they read it they could write at least that they check with there isp ... well i thing the break point is on the englich coast ... but there is one thing is annybody find out how we can rerute are trafikk to an other place and then to ccp .. that will work .. but i dont know how. if annybody know this ... then post it here

Ok, im in the south of Ireland n had real bad issues connectin prior to rev 2.0 , post the 20 hr patch eve worked sweet, then today i loggon n shes gone AR**WAYS again, ran ping blahdie blah n its crap all the way to ccp and bad when i hit their 1st server n worse on the following 2, ny1 else round here havn da same issues ?
