I was just playing earlier... nothing has changed in my system. I went to eat, came back and the sever will not connect.
I uninstalled, reinstalled, shut off windows firewall.. shut off antivirus... none of these have been a problem but tried anyway... still get no connection to server.

exactly the same for me, played earlier today but cant connect now, stuck on "checking status" or "status:unknown"
and i need to put a new skill into learning :/

Same here, two characters got kicked in mid mission. And it's no longer possible to log in. Server is reporting Status: Unknown.
All other inet activities work, only EVE login is dead.

Where are you guys located? I am in sweden.... Not that i think its an issue as the rest of my internet works... Seems like its a block from the ccp side of things...

Same issue here.. got disconnected and now i cannot log back in, stuck on the same status, "unkown"

Got the same thing. I am based in stockholm/sweden. BBB connection. Might be a problem with those guys?

hum, Sweden here also... Wonder if bbb is up to no good then.
But EVE login is the only thing not working properly here.

The sad part is that i was 30sec from my probe to find a mission runner when both my accounts died :(

I'm in Oslo, Norway using Telenor ISP
Can connect to WoW, and several other MMOs

Add me to the list. I live in Lillestr°m, Norway, maybe something is broken on the way from Scandinavia ---> Server location?
Long wait where nothing happened, then got kicked to desktop wit the message connection lost. Now checking status.......status unknown-.
I hope my drones are still out there when i get back.

Have checked driftinformation on both telenors and BBBs websites... no information available... It bieng Midsommar I imagine they are all somewhere else, and drunk and not watching the servers at all..
Looks like this problem will hold out till at earliest tomorrow...

well im also geting to day this problem ... stavanger - norway .. england can conect ... rest of internet is fine can conect to all other gameserver ... problem with ccp ... maybe ccp block norway ?? hehe .

See above... I'm in England and definately cannot connect... Everything else works fine, just Eve with the 'Unknown' server status. Someone tell us whats happening!!

Actually look back at the traceroutes and you will see that the problem definatly is with Telenor and anyone using thier router bank which is obviously borked.

The odd thing about this is that I have 2 computers. I can log on from one of them without any trouble and the other one wont find the Eve server. I've tried removing the firewall and updating anti virus software. Still nothing.
Strange.
Btw, I'm in Sweden aswell.
