Just to say i had recently returned to the game and had no problems at all with connection issues, that was until i downloaded the premium graphics patch.
As of that point it did the exact same thing others described, it would hang for ages then DC me, even though my internet connection still worked. After preparing various fix suggestions (found here in the forums :)) i decided first to disable the premium graphics patch and hey presto not a problem since... might be coincidence but thought id share with the group as it were

connection lost about every 30 minutes or less.
up to 10 times a day.
reactivate my account before 3 weeks and i remember
pre-trinity times. there were no such problems.
other online games, i play beside, didnt have this
connection problems.
if that get not fixed soom, i'll don't buy another timecard.

same her. All 20-30 min. diconnect. Sensless to play EVE. We just lose a lot of ships last days. Its not worth to extend my accounts these days.

I get this problem increasingly.
I'm from Germany, and I have two friends here. We live in different cities, have different providers, but we get "connection lost" at the same time...
Also I have two accounts, which run at the same time on the same PC. Sometimes I get "connection lost" only for one of them...

Same problem, for me this started with the last major patch before trinity, had not a single disconnect before.
Running 2 accounts, sometimes both disconnect, sometimes just one.
What is really bugging me however is that the server seems to have no problems reaching me, I still get chat messages (I can't send anything but still receive), as well as I can for example see people warping off when fighting, while I'm unable to do anything anymore.
It takes some 30-60 seconds until the client finally realized he can't get through anymore, and I get the "connection lost" message, however I can already tell its going to happen by opening market for example.
Could it possibly be that the client is sending some sort of malformed packets and thus is getting caught in some routers DoS-protection algorithms on the way to the server, resulting in a temporary blacklist?
Using pingplotter I found Level3 is the problem for me, unfortunately as far as I can tell from friends plotting routes for me I won't be able to avoid this route by changing ISP easily.

Exactly the same here. Also in Germany, also getting irregular but frequent connection losts. Usually but not always both chars together. Trace yields high loss rates at ae-1-110.ebr1.London1.Level3.net pretty much all the time...
Everything besides EVE works fine, be it DLs, Teamspeak, videostreams...
Tried to be logged into a busy channel (help in my case) but it still disconnects.

I'm currently in austria working.
I've experienced some connection/connectivity problems to not only eve but other UK based servers aswell. I'm travelling between different hotels and vary my connections between different operators (sometimes on 3G cell phones) but the problem seems to have gotten worse since the last of Jan.
There's only one sig that matters... and that's Radius. |

well I'm glad im not the only one getting these problems, from the last few posts alone sound exact the same as mine which makes me feel abit better about it not infact being my connection.
Can be running just fine then all of a sudden, like if I "show info" on someone/thing it just tries to load but cant and then disconnects after about 10-20 seconds of sitting there, all the while chat is still receiving messages but cant send any nor can I right click stuff for the menu like show info.
I first thought would be due to me using 3g access when im away from home but it still happens when im at home on my ADSL connection.

I had the same problem until I installed an older Nvidia driver for my graphics card. After that the problem disappear.

made these 3 screens...
problem still not solved, i also called my provider to reset my dsl port, changed modem
everything fine...
ccp do something sitting in station cause be scared of loosing ships cause of connection losses isnt a part of the game...

Same Problem here, since Saturday countless Disconnects.
After the Deployment of Trinity the connection quality is not the same as before, but the Weekend was horrible and the Game is unplayable now.

I actually didnt got this problem, but poeple at the hole world got the same Problem, which has started arround upcoming of trinity. Before Trinity, EvE was running at the same Providers at the same PC¦s and through the same cable!!!
And a CCP GM said its a Provider issue, thats stupid and rofl.
Dunno if its to cry or to laugh

Same here. 11 Disconnects on Saturday, 10 on Sunday. Everything else online ran just fine, even during the disconnects. So the problem is most likely on lln/level3's side.

sourthern germany, lots of connection losses.
When it stays like this, this game is not playable.
Loosing drones in missions, getting kicked out
when moving through lowsec with high value goods, etc.
Do something!

Same here. From germany too, loosing connection after about an hour,and after that ever 20-30minutes.
Started about a week ago....playing for 3 years now,and never had connection issues till these days :/
(ISP is Telekom too btw)

Same problem here. Constant disconnects render the game almost total unplayable. (But seems to somehow fluctuate. It was almost fine yesterday, some hours of undisrupted play - today I'm not even able to undock without losing connections three times in a row.)
I'm not on Tiscali and changed port from 26000 to 3724, with no results. Too bad - I'm on trial, and almost fell in love with Eve, but it's no fun if I get disconnected every five minutes.

If you are using T-Online in Germany as an ISP, please write an email to [email protected]. Our chances to get some help are better if they get a lot of complaints.

Not just Germany though, I'm UK based and not with tiscali, nor do any of my packets route thru level3 (least accordting to traceroute which only shows 1 hop strangely enough! (perhaps due to me currently being on my 3G connection)

+1 t-online customer from southern germany with unplayable connection. whole lot of others from southern germany suffer from the same. disconnect every couple of minutes, due to a ****ty DTAG router in Frankfurt. contact the support and kick their balls, even if they keep saying they are not responsible for that.

Please guys, get those emails ([email protected]) and phone calls out to T-Online.
I know about support departments in big companies and they have a hard time ignoring an issue if a lot of messages are coming in. Eventually someone will judge the costs of actually fixing the issue (*gasp*) as being lower than answering all the messages. ;)

I have same problem, i'm from Slovenia!
I just got disconnected 5th time in 6 minutes! And to make it even worse, i have to close eve completely, coz when i get DCed my password textbox locks up and i cant write my password in.
I have this problems since friday..everyday i get at least 10 disconnects, costed me about 1bil in ships till now. Its getting frustrated.
I had to leave 0.0 coz its unplayable, cant run mission, coz i loose drones, cant PvP coz i loose connection while fighting..
It is only good for training and market whoring, which, it takes time now..
