You can not keep something you did not earn. If they would of took the space they where living in with out the help of MC or any other type of hired gun, even if they didn't hire them, then it would of been a lot different. Why well for one, you have to defend something you earned, your never really defend something that is giving to you as it holds no real value to you, just the value you think it holds. RZR, MM, and other allies living up north for the longest time earned our space with hard work and team work. We will fight until the death for our space, we make back up once in a while but only to come back stronger. Something that EMPIRE, FATAL, FALLON, COWS, can't or will not understand until they take and hold space they rally earned. They would of never stayed up there they will of never defended it the why someone who earned there space would of. This goes to most of all old ASCN space, none of them alliance up there have earned there space they will not defend it as they did. Thats why they will fall and run to empire like everyone else up there. Some may take longer to drive back then others, as its a lot easy to defend a system then take it. But everyone falls when they have not earned it. There are always going to be a few people on the map, your never find the map with out them. The people who earned there space with hard work planing and leadership. RA, GOONS, MM, RZR, TRI, and others will always hold space. We will be here 5 years from now when new alliance step up and try to have the balls to kick us out, and 10 years from now when they hold there own space. If you earn something it worth a lot more to you, you hold it different then a gift, or something free. You know what it took to get it, to build or to help take it. Your defend it with a lot more force, your make sure you have allies and friends around you to help you keep it, and to help them keep there land when they come under fire. So to EMPIRE, FATAL, COW, good fight, use your heads rethink a few things, you are a good force use that and go take your caps, and your membership and take a peace a space rebuild and your know what we up north are talking about. I lament a little the tactics necessary to win this kind of warfare - bringing a huge hammer and overwhelming force is a really good way to win (and I'm certainly not going to be faulting the attacking forces for doing so) - but I can't help but feel that 'massive blob + lag' is good for EVE as a whole. So it goes. The prospect of not having weeks of fleet + lag + camp + pos shooting, I can't say bothers me overly. Thanks to the guys in local. It was actually fairly cordial and friendly. I just wish it could have been under better circumstances :) -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking? GMP and TNP

We has small skirmishes. Quick invasion fleets of vagabonds, T1 raids, POS shoosting, bubble camps, cap ships all around. Just about any kind of fight you can imagine. With 0 smak. I just joined MPIRE and it was a good call because that is some of the most fun I have had an any one month period in Eve. The continuous pressure over the preceeding months and sheer weight of numbers ultimately has proven too much for us to defend against. The previous attacks on V7 and BKG were a lot of fun, however on this occasion you got your logistics and 24hr presence to bear where we could not respond. Disappointing that we couldn't have an epic battle to bow out over the weekend but there you go. The few of us who managed to get into BKG did our best and hopefully gave you guys some fun to shoot at while we lasted. I think I am as surprised as anyone at the wholesale surrender and was looking forward to some more "backs against the wall" fighting. Many thanks to all the pilots I flew with and against for some fantastic skirmishes and fleet battles (at least the ones where lag wasn't the killer or the victor). See you out there...

How they got it is really secondary. There's only one truth and that's if you don't have the military OR diplomatic means to secure your space, you're going to lose it. RAZOR might not have had the military power to take M.Pire's space in a 1vs1 (or not in that short a time anyway), but they obviously are the better diplomats. Crying about numbers only makes you look like a sore loser.

I'll usually refrain from getting involved in this nonsense but you are actually wrong here. FATAL moved an entire fleet up to Branch and joined the party with over 100+ participants. I know as I was personally there and attended every fleet op for 2 weeks during which BKG/OE-/S-E/EQI/D4R station systems were taken. In all honesty, no we were not there when LXW fell and a lot of work had already been done against BKG system before we arrived. However from there on in, we made up a significant part of the fleet force that cleaned out Branch and Tenal. Well it was a good home BKG and of course IÆm sad to be leaving. So many respectable reds around us and even better friends made for heaps of fun and will be missed greatly. COW and Fatal it was wicked flying with you guys and I hope you donÆt forget the good times us foot soldiers had together despite what decisions were made up top (yea I recon we could have won easy too). Congrats To the soon to be owners of bkg and lwx may you have as much fun in the area as we have had over the last few months defending it. It really was pew pew pew when ever we wanted so my thanks go out to all of you that were red for that. As yet I have no idea what MPIRE leadership has in store for us but if the last few months are anything to go by then I am looking forward to it already. Some say measure yourself not by ho high you rise but by how high you bounce backàor something like that well IÆm kinda fond of that line of thinking. It takes real men to keep getting back up and when I look around me at my close friends I find myself honored to stand amongst some of the finest. As to the trolls well I truly pity the spite you harbor for others within a great game such as EVE, no doubt it reflects a portion of your real life personaÆs so enjoy your forum bashing and rip my post apart I expect nothing less lol. I am not one of those that love fleet engagements, pos attacks and blob-warfare. Im talking about the roaming gangs you had going through our space daily. xHomicide, Ernest/Serina, and crew. Knowing you guys were coming up the pipe meant fun was in store and it was those small engagements that I enjoyed the most. I preferred that a lot better than sitting in the fleet blob hoping I popped the guy coming through the gate before his grid loaded..hehe. But overall, much respect for the dedication you had in your push for branch. Well fought and I'm sure we'll be seeing you again on the field. "No drone left behind..."

Matey boy recons that mpire/fatal lost space cos they did'nt earn it by fighting solo for it while razor did. My reply is that razor were hardly on there own when they initialy took branch and tenal and they comprised of im told less than 60% of the fleets that took it back. Read up the replies and check how much crap he is talking and if yopur honest i think you may see my point.
