I'd say this bet is null and void. The intention of the bet (I assume) was who would win the fight over FAT. The fact that there was no way for Tyrrax to win the bet should mean the bet is voided.

Ah, finally, a reasonable version of the "LOL HE SHOULDN'T PAY STFU BOB HAXOR" post. Now I can respond.
Basically, Tyrrax (and IAC, -A-, GOON, etc.) had the chance to defend (and then, after we took sov, to take back) FAT- for the last month. This is similar to not paying your alliance bill until the last possible minute, and then getting screwed over by an extended DT. I'm reminded of a rule in (Americans: Soccer, Everyone else: Football) which says that the ref is a part of the field. If the ball hits the ref and enters the goal, it's a goal, same as if it hit a bump in the field before entering the goal. We're all playing on the same server and had equal chance to (re-)take the station. IAC did not do so. Therefore, I win.

Unlike Velios' poorly-worded challenge, Tyrrax and I made the terms of the bet very clear. If he (or his allies; he used the word "we") held FAT- today, I paid. If anyone else held it, he paid.
AXE's contribution to the war effort was substantial, but not on the scale of many other entities involved in the fighting, I'll be the first to admit. The bet was that FAT would be in BoB's hands as of a certain day (I assume today) right? The station is in BoB's hands so it looks like Pilk wins.
Also, stop with these stupid, baseless allegations that BoB hacked the server. You're only making yourselves sound like idiots.

To be honest, if it was me, I'd go double or nothing on another month, because circumstances outside of the players control prevented the destruction of towers which would have caused the system to go neutral, making neither side win the bet.
But that's just me.
