If all towers would have been destroyed Sov would have gone neutral on the 20th and then whoever had more towers up would have gotten Sov on the 21st. Way to own yourself.

If sov had gone neutral at 12.01 on the 21st, and if IAC held the station at any point during the ensuing twelve hours, I would have paid, but would also have expected to be paid, as well (i.e., both of our "paying conditions" would have been satisfied--IAC holding the station, and IAC not holding the station--on the day in question). That said, I can conceive an interpretation of the bet wherein that's not the case, and I would not have become upset if Tyrrax felt he didn't have to pay under those circumstances. Nonetheless, I interpreted the spirit of the bet to be midnight on the 21st, which meant holding sov on the 20th at 11:59 P.M. was sufficient to win it. You're right that I need to be more specific in the future, but in this case, the argument is moot, because BoB held sov from 00:00 through 23:59 on the 21st. --P Kosh: The avalanche has already started. Despite what those guys say about the bet, it was pretty legit, a bet is a bet, if there are circumstances unspecified at the time of a contract that occurred in the process of its fulfilment, the principle of the law is that you take the contract literally, which in this context implies that he lost.
