It takes into account all your mining, refining and production skills. The only thing it doesn't do yet is anything post-exodus - so you won't find the new ore variants, strip miners, barges, ice etc in there yet.
It's not a scam. I've been a happy customer of this sheet for a long time now. The e-mail distribution method is very slow though, and does require T'el not to be on holiday/busy with RL/ill/suffering computer failure etc. Would be nice if T'el could find a secure way of making this downloadable, rather than relying on the email system. ------- There is no magic Wand of Fixing, and it is not powered by forum whines. |

There are bunch of free mailing lists around, say at Yahoo!. She could make a private maling list, add all the customers there and let Yahoo to deal with deliveries. Just an option. |

[1085] First, sorry about the delay, I've sent everyone the sheet who were waiting. I'm still reading through the thread, so I'll reply as I go along to questions people have. Khapeta: You've payed 2 mil, which is not enough for the 1.12, you need to send an extra mil to get the sheet, however, the exodus sheet is 1-4 weeks away, so I'd wait for that as there's another price bump, but if you'd rather get the 1.12 right away, send the 1 mil. BrStalker: I cannot find any information that you've donated, please contact me ingame. Trimp: It's being distributed again :) I think I'll need to promise to send it at least once a week.. Ok, I promise to send it once a week, sometime over the weekends is the best I can do. Matthew: you couldn't be more right mate.. I'll try to find some way to make the process easier.. although that's tough. I like to individualise each copy I send out, that's really why it takes longer than normal. Tubble: noooo.. unless the yahoo mailing list can also individualise the password for each user, then yes, but until then, nah. Again I apologise for the time-off.. It's because of personal reasons, and sadly eve is just a game, so RL has to take precedent. I want to thank you guys for not flaming this thread, and also to thank you for your immense patience. I did promise a week or two ago to send the sheet and didn't, which has been bothering me very much, so I'm relieved that I could finally steal some time to send the sheet, like I promised. Sadly similar reasons have delayed the exodus patchup.. I'm seriously considering replanning the exodus sheet so I can release it sooner. I've added the barges, and all teh new ores and gotten a much better blueprint database to work with and such, and just finishing patching up a few things which people asked for. What I really want to do is add the automated transaction process which already has been created with alot of help from my super-genius scripter, so that you don't have to input the data by hand (although there are some areas which you'd need to input yourself.. the stuff in journal basically, like bills and player donations). It'll really burst open a new frontier with how detailed the information the sheet can give you on both future prices of items and what you've already sold. I have even more cool things planned, but probably won't see the light of day until later.. much later. Thanks again for the patience and civilised response, I'm not worthy of customers such as you guys :) T. -- always look on the bright side of the cloning facility. |

[1091] Thanks, I've received the sheet.
As far as I know, Yahoo has invite-only groups, i.e. lists where members can be added only by admin of the list. So you could add only your customers to such list, and no other persons could join it by themselves. It is AFAIK, but I am sure there are other such lists as well, not only Yahoo. |

Mmm, thinking about this, I'm sure you could get some sort of macro/script to take a master copy of the sheet, give it an individualised password and dump the two out somewhere. If it worked of a pre-prepared list of e-mail addresses and passwords (which could themselves be script-generated), you might even be able to get it to make the unique-passworded copy, attach it to a standard email template, insert the unique password and mail out automatically. Sure, would still take a while to send out that many emails, but at least that would just be computer time, not user time. |

Definitely. It shouldn't be hard to write a script in Python, Perl, or some other scripting language to do this. It is pretty easy to interface with Excel and make changes to a sheet. As Matthew said, the ideal script should take a list of names/passwords from a text file and create the personalized sheets and email them out. The email part would be from an existing library and require zero work. The excel part would be the only real work. |
