Then you missed out an epic fight that folks were jazzed over. The first 30 minutes weren't bad. Some module lag but manageable. Some didn't have many issues. Tons of pew pew. That many ships wouldn't have gone down if lag were that bad. I shot a bunch and my dread went down fast when it was primaried. The last 30 minutes got bad for some of us. I don't have a clue how my carrier got popped. I couldn't lock anything. Was descynched. Took like 20 minutes to lag back in. Couldn't see anything. Died somehow. But for many it wasn't this bad. Either way I wouldn't be scared of a bit of lag for an epic fight.

But interestingly, a large proportion of our lost ships came as a result of non-Smashkill alliances. There are some very very bad fleet commanders out there, but Roadkill seem to have acquired more than their fair share of these. Still 11/10 for effort, 0/10 for delivery. I always find it funny when people say "you failed to impress" or something when dealing with cloakers in games. We could counter your tactics with the same but then we'd just all sit around cloaked waiting for someone to fall asleep, face plant into the keyboard and uncloak for a quick loss. Not sure where the embarrassed FC's comment comes from, I'm in the leadership channels and we told people we weren't going to focus on BWF because we have a war for territory to deal with. 90% of the coalition followed by those rules and came to help our allies. As you can see from the stats some didn't, some got lax, some haven't been on in a while and didn't know. There isn't any excuse not to read intel channels so that's their mistake. Many people (that read intel) took other avenues to get out here, or other methods to move supplies or loots through or around the camp. Again, nothing too major. A minority of people here realize that your tactics do indeed prune the ranks of dead weight, and teach some lessons that are needed to newbie characters. That minority have thanked you and realized that as your tactics are being adjusted to you will again move on and teach another alliance the price of laziness or lax. I find it in poor form to insult people that play a game, but then again EVE continues to (de)evolve in certain aspects and the former posts form Burn Eden about their campaigns have taken on a more ... snide tone. That is your right so enjoy I guess, I don't find it angering, saddening, maddening or any emotion really. You attacked an area, now your moving on. I did notice the one time we didn't have a CTA in effect we saw your gang take it's biggest losses from those FC's back from the front. You posted your losses, so props for that. You can be disappointed in us, but we still have our space so shrugs You will continue to move on, I'd be interested to see if you camp a bigger coalition then ours (like RSF) if you'd get the same amount of kills. But I think they have too many pipes for your forces to cover. Enjoy your kills, it's a game after all, but a tad bit less 'arrogance' never hurts for every winning streak does after all come to an end eventually. TRI who assaulted Smashkill space with hundreds of ships and caps, moms etc. Of course Tri probably got more kills in Z-K in a weekend than we got in 2 weeks. What do you expect with like 50x the numbers we can field and in a major warzone. And to smashkill, i dont know where all the bitterness comes from. Its not like we sit there and ONLY engage ppl who dont check intel and travel on their own (although carebear zidrine drops are always nice). We WILL engage any size fleet if it is feezable for every ship to survive the battle to fight another day and that is where our understanding of PVP is different: Smash/Roadkill and all other major alliances PVP in these large lagged out slugfests where the winner is the last man standing holding the field. Most of our players have lived through this and do not enjoy this type of gameplay so we keep to small size fleets and enjoy the lag free fights we usually get. We generally stay away from space holding stuff like boring pos shooting ops. Also, unlike your 400man blobs, every member of the Burn Eden "team" is an important member of the gang, loosing ships isnt really acceptable even if we kill 50 of your guys in the process - its still classed as an unacceptable loss as we're then an "important" man down. Fighting this way (to me at least) is much better than being some piece of cannon fodder in a sea of wrecks. Unfortunatly a minute or so into the fight i think you guys decloaked 2 rapiers and killed our tackler, which was game over for our bs's.
