Will you add show in contract feature also to folders created from ship-fittings?. Do you mean in the menu of the items in the quickbar? If you do, then yes, when the folders and the items in them have been created in the quickbar, they are all the same.
Thanks and that is great. Now I can faction fit all my ships :) |

First of all, awesome effort! I really appreciate little things like this!
But now you're iterating I've got a little suggestion:
When dragging fittings and now blueprints to the quickbar it gives a nice list of the requirements for that fit/job. However, it doesn't show the amount of modules/parts/minerals I need for it. This means that I still have to look up the fit/blueprint to find that out. Wasn't the point of these additions that I don't have to do that anymore?
Is it possible to put this information in the quickbar as well to ease the logistical strain?
Also, will this work for reactions as well as blueprints and fittings? |

Sorting the asset page by the amount of stuff in any given station seems like a particularly bad idea to me. The whole idea of sorting is to present (obviously ordered) but consistent and predictable information that a person can effectively navigate. With this new method the presentation will be changing over time and not presented in any meaningful way to the human mind...I'd guess this will result in a lot more searches in the asset windows. |

Impressive!
So many "little things" that actually make a BIG change in using EVE day to day.

If we could get a list of improvements like that every month or two, just imagine how EVE would be a year or two from now

I am still missing the "BUY THAT F!-º%&NG FITTING! NO MATTER WHAT!" button in the fittings-window.
We load / share / store fittings all day and can do all fancy stuff with them...but if you want to fly that ship, you have to look module for module after prices, availability and such...
The function should buy all available parts at the current station at the lowest price. If a part is not available, buy it on surrounding stations, constallationwide. Return a list where all those parts are located or throw error with which parts could not be bought.

Cool. Allowing people to customize the sort is probably the best (didn't realize that's what was being done). |

Lots of good changes.
Now, as a UI programmer can you tell me what are the chances of making the utterly moronic and infuriating overview freeze on mouse-over an optional feature? |

Well done, CCP karkur! I like the coloring of the route the most.
Keep going with the small changes and of course keep the players involved - either with feedback on your ideas or with their own ideas. 2012 is going to be a year of awesome improvements in EVE. I'm on Twitter. |

Nice to see CCP Explorer so busy replying here when he is so scarce in the Crucible 1.2 Feedback thread.
I love the UI changes, but I too would like the date back. I read the post why it was removed and it doesn't make sense. Date is relevant given how many of us play outside of the timezone EVE is based in.
I wish the UI people were the people in charge of the overview. We wouldn't have gotten something badly hacked by people who obviously do not play the game regularly.

Nice changes ... every one of them. You have hit many on my own hit list.
One other change that would be spectacular (and maybe I missed it somewhere) would involve corporate orders. They show up in my personal order list. It would be super cool to have a visual way of distinguishing them from personal orders, both in the buy and sell categories. Color coding them would be nice.
As a matter of fact, if you really want to tickle the marketeers fancy, you could incorporate some way for us to tag and filter our orders in various ways of our choosing, much the way we do ships in the overview. Pilots shouldn't have to rely on an out-of-game tool to do such basic filtering. For instance, it would be marvelous to look at my orders listing and quickly see (based on color codes that I choose) orders that are mine in contrast to other pilot's orders.
This is not an unrealistic tool. It is not game-changing in that all of us would have the same tool. it is not even super-hi-tech in our virtual world. it just plain makes sense that I could quickly look at the computerized order list and see my order stand out from the crowd (many of use special cents symbols to make them somewhat stand out now - .55 cents). Why, even Excel can do that. You mean to tell me my spaceship is less techie than Microsoft. C'mon now. We can't have that.
In light of the other changes made, this seems like a relatively simple one, but who knows .. maybe there is something very complex preventing it. Here is to hoping....

Although i don't know what a quick bar is, usability changes like this are cool. I just hope it's something that isn't wasted or restrictive when/if this game gets the MUCH NEEDED UI redesign. |

Why open another window you dont have to? Also when the unified inventory out doesnt neocom open up a bit more?

Great Changes, excellent work. However if I could ask for one small thing, please. When you create a contract & set availability to private, would it be possible to add the option to drag and drop characters names from your chat channels & / or contacts list into the name field ? It would help make private contracts so much more user friendly. Thanks in advance. |

Karkur awesome, best awesome:
As a sometimes T2-manufacturer, you have no idea how much less grating the whole process will be by being able to drag.drop/expand the BP into quickbar if you buy you materials off market...(I used to just stack the BPC and market windows together, but clicking between them--then waiting for the refresh in high-lag hubs like Jita got really annoying, really quickly.) |
