Well if the pack doesnt contain anything like this:
- More industrial types (Badger Mkv or something.) Wich can have a cargohold of aprox. 50k max.
- Transport Ships boost with more cargo bit like the mini-freighter here below.
- Small Industrial Freighters (between 100k and 300k)
- A high-sec rorqual/mining command ship.
- Increase of cargo of the existing miningbarges/exhumers.
- Industrial implants (like more implants to increase yield/max range of stripminer and decrease time cycle, faster construction/cheaper with materials)
- Better way to carry rigged ships. Instead of flying them one at a time.
- Improved POS looks. (Like the dead horse topic) But if the front banner is correct and thats a POS you finaly listened.
Its just a pathetic patch on steroids.

Sure, Its small for an expansion.. But its still free just like every other expansion CCP has made for eve.
Your getting something for free and your whinging about it? Honestly... Grow up!
And there are some big content Expansions due to be released soon, and the last two have been huge (A big graphics improvement, a new region and a whole new way to have some easy fleet PVP)
Plus ambulation is coming up soon, and thats a whole lot of work.. Even if you don't like Ambulation you have to admit that is pretty big.
Personally, I do think a few bug fixes would be nice, but any reduction to lag is my friend...
Give CCP some time, even if its a small expansion its an expansion never-the-less.

This talk of 'free' is a little misleading, I pay a monthly fee to play the game and CCP have decided that this is their business model - a larger monthly fee than most MMOs but you get patches and expansions included. I am afraid that does not make it free, no company, CCP included, give stuff away or if they do, they would not have been around for as many years as CCP have.
As to the announcement, perhaps it is a poor PR attempt to distract from the 133 page 'feedback' thread concerning Ghost Training but short of CCP coming on the forums and whining themselves about all their customers hating them and that they were going to quit, they had little other recourse.
So far this 'Expansion' is only such by name its really just a normal patch as far as I can see. |

I'm disappointed. Most of the best stuff for this "expansion" don't really justify being called such.
Furthermore, the speed ninjanerf is still in hideous condition on the test server, ships that you would never speed fit (such as a Raven) are slower than my carrier. 117m/s is way the hell too slow for an un speed fitted battleship, the 145-150 on the live server now is not exactly game breaking.
Interceptors... Well, all I can say is that when I lose the one I have currently I won't be replacing it, interceptors will be the "new" assault frigates, being useless because they now have no role (they are supposed to be tacklers obviously but now can't go fast enough to do the job). People will just use dictors and recons, which had already taken away most of the interceptor's role anyway.
Anyone stupid enough to try combat in one of these flying coffins after this "expansion" will be lucky to even get to their target and even try to scramble/web them (webs suck now and most inty's can't fit two) before they get one-volleyed back to their clone.
And, the really crappy thing about it is that nanogangs will be probably MORE powerful than they are now! What with everything else being slowed down MORE than the nanos were, made less maneuverable than they are now, they will effectively be "faster" than they are now, and some of the best anti-nano tactics (double webs, interceptors) have been nerfed.
And to add insult to injury, medium drones have been nerfed into complete uselessness, making any ship that doesn't have a drone bay large enough to fit 5 heavies not really have much reason to carry them instead of lights (which will now be able to easily overtake and kill interceptors).
Also, there appears to be no content in this "expansion", and only one new ship, which I probably won't want. Given that the last "expansion" offered me nothing because I live in 0.0 and am in an alliance a second one in a row means at least a 1.5 year long wait for me for anything new.
Where is ambulation? Where are the long promised POS revamps? And why the tease crap?
And I for one don't expect much more than what they dropped with this "expansion announcement". They did the same thing with "empire-an age" and nothing else significant showed up after the initial announcement of faction warfare, not even a single new ship.

Hmm well.. I am hanging on for dear life here .. Missiles getting spanked (again), My BS (I don't nano) will be as fast as a dead turtle in tar ... Mission running is gonna get even more boring and tedious becuase of that (and missions are already mind numbing) ..
I haven't really logged in for 7 days due to boredom, I think the camel's back is now well and truely breaking ..
An underwhelming patch indeed.. (Sorry expansion) .. I will give it a go, but I can see this account going the same way as the other 2 I canned a few months back tbh.
*sigh* where has all the excitement in eve gone these days?

They have already had 5 years and they have only just fixed a 5 Year old "bug"

Its not an expansion its just a patch, i've seen many other games introduce more new content in their patches than this so called expansion has so far.
course if they turn around and revel so actual content other than yet another blood reskin of an existing ship or stuff thats already been launched then i'll eat my hat.
but lets face CCP have become lazy and blotted, only after the $ now and no love for the fans.

Hopefully the EVE-O Site Item Database to be updated as well. It's only 2 expansion packs behind at this stage. Never know, Quantum Rising may set the record at 3 expansions behind. 
This pinjt was raised during the original CSM elections, and action was supposed to be taken. Us per RL politics, the CSM appears to have been a figure head at best if they can't resolve this minor issue.
