Is it just me or does this completly sound strange? The avoidance system as well as Stackless I/O and EVE 64 is already deployed (more or less at least, in case for EVE 64), and from the acutal Sisi status we can expect at least medals and certificates for the (hopefully?) upcoming EA 1.2 patch. Weapon Linking as well as store front and the Speed Balance/Nerf stuff is already in Sisi as well, so it's not too farfetched to believe they might be part of 1.2 as well - so what is left for this mysterious addon named EVE: Quantum Rise?
Doesn't make much sense in my humble opinion.
Edit: We also got some CCP respone a while back, saying that no new graphics content would make it into this years winter expansion...not that i wouldn't like it to be proofed wrong.
Also whats up with all this quantum crap, it sounds cool - the first time you hear it, but nowadays everything and it's brimstone have something named with quantum. Looking forward for the expansion anyways.

This is the expansion that was called "Midas" before. If they keep their schedule, it should hit before Christmas - go for something like "beginning of december", 9th or so.
Big changes/additions (from SiSi) are:
- Weapon groups
- Certificates
- Medals
- Storefronts (for contracts)
The speed rebalancing, including a full revamp of missiles, is intended to be included, but if new problems show up, it might not make it. (And no, another 100 people whining is not "a problem" in this sense :-))

Great, an announcement for an expansion that didn't include anything that sounds interesting. It just keeps getting worse and worse. What's next? The inability to have cap ships in low-sec? A nerf to shield boosters and armor reppers? Are my drones flying too straight? Must we nerf the BCU's a little?

not intresting to you doesnt mean not intresting full stop, you may not be aware that there are other players besides yourself that have other intrests in the game

It's basically a way to organize contracts better than the lack of organization contracts currently have.
Store fronts can be created at any office station. People can find them similar to the way you can search for contracts now. A store front has a name, a description, and some "news" that you can put on the front page. You can create categories, and put contracts into those categories. So customers can browse your store front and find various related contracts etc.
