Ok, here goes mine:
1) How do you feel about "Local" chat being used as a free intel tool that ruins roaming when used in combination with cloaking, safespots, and POS's?
2) Are there any plans to adjust that so there is a point to roaming again?
3) Do you even acknowledge that there is a problem with the above, and if you don't, would you be willing to get in any ship and come roaming with a group of players so we can actually prove the point to you?
4) You say small gang pvp, and solo play styles are still going to be viable post nanno nerf. Could you please give an example of a fit and ship you would personally use to go solo roaming in 0.0 after the nano nerf? (Yea, im setting you up to get flamed on this one for your fit, but, well, you should really know how to fit a ship since your in charge of building our game, so your on the spot anyway )
EDIT: btw, im reading, this is actually nice to see you firing away the answers. After the past weeks, this is pretty good for the players to see as well. GJ |

Q: Would Zulupark agree (looking at the following two quotes) that the CCP did not deliver on their stated role for the CSM after the Developer Cheating incident.
Would Zulupark sympathies with opinions that the CSM is nothing more then a PR sham, especially consider its three most popular threads (regarding objections to speed changes, GTC period changes, and ghost training) were ultimately ignored by CCP.
Finally would ZULUPARK agree that the future of Eve would be more secure if CCP would interact with the paying gamebase in an honest fashion.

Will missiles get a boost sometime, so as to be on par with other ship class weapons (dps wise)?
Will the Mackinaw get a needed cpu boost? Right now it has a problem fitting two upgrades, while the other two exhumers can (in addiditon to tank).
Will there ever be added new frigs and cruisers (or even BC/BS) to the game? (Normal empire faction T1 stuff)
Will we get more independant ship classes (like the ORE ships and such) for comabt ship or industrials?
Why the change of missiles? Did they not perfom staisfactory? Caldari using cruise missiles and such are gonna get a harder time killing smaller stuff as it seems (most noticably in missions).
How will defenders work? If they are too good caldari would basically die :P. Say a big ship with a lot of high slots can keep from getting damage from a smaller ship with only a few top slots for missiles.
Will there ever be a tool similar to EFT implemented ingame? EFT is basiaclly unavoidable if you want to find new setups and such. (or similar tools)
Why the curretn speed changes? I though they would be different after the first dev blog? It seems that close range system like blasters/pulse lasers, HAMS and rockets and torps will suffer from this. (And for caldari the real damage done is with these weapons usually as missiles for long range don't pack so punch, at least for the smaller tier caldari ships).
Will Caldari get a damge bonus to other damage types then kinetic?
How viabel will assult frigs be after speed change, comparable to intys?
Will the poor ferox get a small boost? Cuse right now it is not that much used, even by the rail/blaster guys. |

Some yes/no/will look into/didn't think about yet questions:
1.) Will there be more destroyer class ships, like higher tiers, more T2 or a improvement of the current T1 ship? 2.) Will there be a dedicated salvage ship? 3.) Are there plans for Logistic Frigates and/or other sizes for logistic ships? 4.) Are the plans for Electronic Support ships, like sensor boosting, remote ECCM, etc. specialized ships? 5.) Is there a role considered for a T2 version of the mining frigates? 6.) Will there be more incentives to do missions for a variety of corporations, like greater variety in LP Stores or other benefits? 7.) What requirements are still missing to move all mining and maybe even ratting to a more exploration based approach? 8.) Is a more structured module setup for POSes in development? 9.) Will 0.0 Sovereignty be changed to a more RTS/Civilization Building approach and away from the 'combat'/POS spam approach?
and last but not least: 10.) Can you use another Junior Game Designer for EVE in Iceland? |

Are something being done to teh UI? Cause right now my windows keep jumping all over the place at every transition unless I anchor them strangly.
Will there be bigger, but maby fewer roid in high sec at some point in high sec? Casue right noe my Hulk eats through roids before strip miner duration is over (and mining is only secondary to what I do, as I manily PvP/run missions).

2) Any plans in adding more (a whole lot more) 0.0 space? Are you planning in curbing sovereign space to allow smaller alliances a more realistic chance in 0.0 politics?

Does CCP have any plans to rework how moon materials work? I.e They are depleted and appear in a moon in the same constellation, with the message "Your probe has uncovered previously undiscovered moon materials." when you find the moon it respawns to? (Something in that vein)
It would force huge alliances to have to keep tabs and invest resources into keeping a hold of its cash cows and may open the doors for smaller alliances to get footholds in 0.0.

The following has been said in many different ways over the years, but to my knowledge, has never really been defined.

Questions: 1) Could you delve into what that vision entails? I believe alot of the communication disconnect some of us often feel is the abscence of such details.
2) Do CCP have predefined concepts of what role each ship is supposed to fill and therefore how that ship should be fitted and flown? Perhaps it seems like a goofy question, but the not so long ago proposed changes to the Deimos seemed to imply CCP and its players had vastly differing expectations around certain ships.
3) Follow on to 2: If there are CCP predefined ship fits based around role concepts, is this the only way those ships are compared for balance and QA purposes? And if so, wouldn't that hint at perhaps some leaking of that info to better manage player expectations?

The tempest has noticably lower dps and a worse tank than the other tier 2 bs's, are you aware of this and is this done on purpose?
Missiles do really bad damage to small or fast ships on the test server, is this change there to stay?

Ok here it goes:
Is solo PVP a intedet Ship role, lets say for Blaster ships or ships like the Vagabound and the ship suposed to do this?
If NO, what is the role for Blaster and AK ships and some other that dominate at solo by her design but actualy beeing not this good in bigger Gangs and Fleets?
If YES, do this kind of ships get any changes to still work solo with the weaker Web, MWD shutdown ability of Scramblers, slower accelation, slower speeds and bigger Tracking/Range Issues?
Where short Range fitted BS intendet as ships for solo PVP, like they where used in this fasion multiple years now, since her low Range makes them bad for bigger Gangs and Fleets and now they loose the ability to fight of smaller ships in her range effectly(especily Gallente Ships)?
Looking at the changes of the Patch as a general picture it harmes Gangs(exept of Nano Gangs) not realy but putting lots of drawbacks in for solo and small scale PVP, that are mostly unneedet since it is not a problem atm. Is this intendet to reduce solo/small Gang PVP and pushing EvE further in a big Gang/Fleet style PVP direction in general?
Anything planed in increasing possible gains in Low Sec, like better chances for Faction Spawns, better loot or at least better Bountys?
Is any kind of ECM and Falcon rebalancing planed for its overwhelming ability against solo Ships or small gangs, where ECCM simply don¦t work right?

(the ability to record everything on grid to our HDD and playback the file using the EVE client)
What are the issues? (lag, cpu, etc) And what plans, if any, are in place to put such a design into pratice?

Okay, I have some hard questions to ask.
1. In your hunt for solving the LAG-ISSUE you have presented us with StacklessIO and 64-bit architecture. Other in-game measures have been taken to try and counter this problem, but it is still very prevalent - not only just in 400 man fleet fights, but in seemingly mostly-empty (10 people) systems desynching and lagging. With bigger fleet fights lately resulting in 5 consecutive node-crashes leading to rollbacks. Do you think that you will have to face the choice of scrapping the idea of having these fights and design the game to avoid the "huge fleet fights", or are you optimistic that these grooves will be filed down to a smooth gameplay for all (with exception to local ISP-issues ofc.)?
2. CCP has had a drop in confidence over the past year, leading back to probably the t20-incident. Prior to this CCP was (I dare say) the game developers who were the most beloved by their consumers. Bar none. While many still do love what you do, what are you planning on doing about this drop, it seems no matter what you do these days your consumers lack confidence in your ability to build their gaming future.
3. You, Zulupark have been harshly criticised by a part of this forum. Particularly around some of the decisions you have presented. Naturally it must be pretty devastating to get such massive overwhelming negativity aimed at you as an individual. Do you feel that you can empathize with the criticisms made, or do you mostly brush it away as consumers "not knowing better"? It seems to me that some of the consequences of hard decisions made have fallen on yours and Nozh's shoulders. Whereas in the past the community seemed to be mostly optimistic about posts made eg. by Kieron, Oveur or game designers. On this subject, what are your thoughts? Why do you think some see CCP being in a "negative trend"? |

Eve has become to small for its current population, people can move around the map to easily and especially in capital ships, this has cause the ability for blobs to form to become very easy so a few questions.
1.) What are you going to do about the easy of logistics particularly with capital ships jump range. 2.) Do you plan on increasing the size of space in EVE to better meet the requirements of the population, you may say that its not overpopulated but that would be untrue because EVE is small enough that I can be anywhere in a fight in a couple hours capital ship or normal ship. 3.) With the introduction of the HP boost and the introduction of rigs, It currently takes to long to gank a ship in small warfare, usually if your in a small gang in enemy territory a small gang will receive backup before you can finish the fight. This makes it harder to have small gang warfare. ------------------

When the Trinity update finishes (old models re-done completely), do you have other plans (other than ambulation) that affect the visual part of Eve that you can disclose right now?
Are you planning to keep adding new ship types? And new ship models to improve existing ones? (specially T2 ship models and eventually T3)
Do you have other professions in mind that you can disclose now?
Will we see special events in the future? (in real time, not just news of the events.) And role-played characters in game? (like when the jovians asked back the T5 miner.)
Will there be promotional footage with ambulating characters in the future?
Is there any possibility that the NPC assigned by standing returns? or is there a technical reason not to put it back? (I don't like The Scope )

What are the chances of us ever seeing something like this for us miners? My idea would be to simply having to run a survey scanner constantly in order to see the amount in the roids.
Because, currently it kinda sucks not knowing how much a roid contains, at least not in any easy way. And while the SiSi additions of "timers" on modules is a great addition it really doesn't help us time the depleation of a roid. |
