When will NPC rats get their technology in line with players? Specifically: 1) NPC ECM /damps and NOS are not the same as ours, when will they be brought in line? 2) Will they be nano-nerfed? 3) Will they use weapon grouping? 4) When will rats use drones? 5) When will their missiles be brought in line with player missiles (ie they still have 70km torps)? 6) When will NPC aggro be changed to switch targets?
Finally, when will the entire PVE mission system/NPC rats be overhauled,to bring it up to date from the 2004/5 state it still looks like?

Is anything being worked on that might allow for easier movement of rigged ships? The Orca's ship bay is purposefully too small to carry a battleship and I was wondering if anything was being looked at to fill this gap. |

You are about to introduce the speed nerf, which in turn will nerf small roaming gangs. You have already mentioned that you activly encourage roaming small gangs, but the patch will nerf it, doing the opposite to what you want to encourage. Can we have a more constructive answer to this question:- How are you going to encourage small roaming gangs?

Some may overlap somewhat with other players' questions, but these are things I truly want to know (in no particular order):

Artillery and Tracking/Range Modules While I could go on about not being able to hit the broadside of a barn with 1400's, that's neither here nor there. My primary concern is range; simply put, it sucks compared to beams and railguns. Do you feel the range of artillery is sufficient when a goodly chunk (40km) of a 1400mm howitzer artillery II's range comes from falloff and is not affected by tracking computers? Is there any chance we could see tracking computers and enhancers increase falloff as well? (I would like to point out that tracking disruptors reduce both optimal and falloff, while tracking computers and enhancers only increase optimal.)
More Tempest I would also like some more detail regarding your thoughts on the tempest, please. You said:

This greatly concerns me as, due to odd and varying hours, I'm often the only person online or active in whatever corp I happen to be in, and, as a battleship specialist, I am afraid that I will no longer be able to fly the ships I trained for during the last 4 years. 
Caldari Shield Tankers It's been my experience that Caldari shield tanks often lack enough midslots to function effectively in PvP. Most cannot fit tackle and speed mods while still tanking well. I know the rationale for such limited midslot availability used to be the amount of EW that Caldari ships could fit instead of shield tanks, but, now that ECM is only truly effective on dedicated ships, do you feel that it would be possible for certain Caldari ships to get another midslot?
The Nighthawk In a similar vein, but more specific: Currently, the fittings on the nighthawk are exceedingly tight and it has fewer midslots than the drake, resulting in nighthawk setups that are only slightly better than those the drake can field. Would you feel it fair to add 15% grid (to make up for one of the reactor controls a nighthawk must fit to use, for instance, a HAM setup), remove a lowslot, and add a 6th mid?
I'm pretty sure I had other questions, but these are the ones that immediately spring to mind.

Large Ship Drone Bays
In one of your previous responses, you stated that a battleship's intended defense vs. frigates is light drones. However, many of the larger ship classes often have ridiculously tiny drone bays, resulting in the inability to field a good mix of drone flights. With the web nerf, it would seem to me that more drone space for most larger ships would be necessary for them to remain viable. Do you feel this would be fair?
Oh, and another one which conveniently slipped my mind when I was typing the original post, despite how important I feel it to be:
The Web Nerf There are many players, myself included, who feel that the web nerf in going too far and will hamstring solo and small gang play and encourage blobbing (not to mention neutering some of the game's larger ships). Is there any chance we could test webs that have a 70% or 75% web strength on SiSi as an alternative to the current 60% max? |

1.in the live dev blog you said that blasters are fixed and "fine" but there has been alot of discussion and logical reasons why they arnt fixed do you still stand that they are "fine" and "fixed" even though most of player base have shown they are not "fine"? and what would you do to have them fixed? and would you take player idea's into the CCP ideas instead of ignoring player base like you did with nano nerf?
2.Do you think that if CCP stop consentrating in the little things etc. the little lights on the caldari ships on quantum rise loggin or the able move around of the cap and armor readouts and started consentrating on what the player base have to say eve would be taken more trusted and would be better for player base to see that there ideas have been taken in and tested and then work on the little things last? |

My question is, will we be able to choose between any race/bloodline, or will we be restricted to the one we chose at creation? The reason I ask this is because I saw a video that said that CCP is going to make different bloodlines look different in ambulation. If so, I may prefer one bloodline over another, but be stuck with one I don't like because I was never given an option to compare the two when I first made my character.

Why do we need starbase charters in 0.4? They can't even do the same things like POS'es in 0.3.

There was once mention of System Wide Asteroid belts. Was that scrapped or just a roumor.
Also as far as local goes, will we at least be able to see the number of pilots in system or in a const.? I know you want to remove it as a tool of intel but it makes it too easy for someone to just park 15-20 ships around the system in pos's ect. to make it very very difficult to find.
Finally it seems to me and many other players that CCP is focusing too much on the Aesthetic side of the game rather than functionality to support a large player base.

First i would just state a couple of things Im player who started Eve in 2004 and have seen many many changes some for the good and some for the bad, a few important points of loads i would like to raise but as im unsure whether they have been asked already ill ask the ones that are important to me (selfish i know lol)
1) Devs used to actually intergrate with the game playerbase ie like having a Jolly helping and participating with events vreated for the playerbase, ie i remember 1 where salvator sarparti actually was flying around Tribute area in that stolen ship accompanied by a fleet - i know Devs where involved to a greater or lesser extent in that - can we have a return of these events?
2)The bug reporting system is very lenghy and not user friendly and since its coupled with petitions i would like to see a more friendly user interface, afterall you need us to report bugs making it lenghy and time consuming puts me off
3)Its probaley mentioned before but using the so called Ghost training, i know you huys wont move on this for various reasons however can i have a assurance if something similar arrives you wont drop this into players laps with minimal warning it would have been really nice to see a compromise or alternative considered before you removed it ie the ability to que at least 1 skill, im personnally in agreement with its removal but was dead set against the way it was handled, very draconian imo.
4)In my eyes and a lot of others you have to go a long way to redeem yourselves in the eyes of the player base this question and answer thread is a good step following the disasterous Live Dev Blog, imo its not what you do its how you do it with this in mind Do the Devs work alongside the GM's dealing with petitions in particular if the petition maybe bug related? If not can they start doing this? (see point 2 above)
Finally ive read a lot of negative comments and i would like to apologise for a few remarks ive read from the playerbase that was uneccessary and wrong, however CCP,Devs and the GM's dont seem to realise the negative impact you guys are having with your seemingly and apparent dont care approach, threads like this are a good sign of you guys working together but its one small step please dont mess it up and take 1 step forwards and 2 back. |

Got a follow up question regarding the tempest. 1. you say its fine as a 1vs1 ship and small gang ship, but atm what ships can the tempest actually beat in a 1vs1 often enough to be considerd a good ship?
it has only 6 low slots witch you have to either dedicate to a active tank, and with a active tank you dont really have any room for damage mods so your dps is about the same as a deimos. and your tank will still be shreaded by any competent pilot in a neutron mega, abaddon, geddon and raven.
if you fit a buffer tank your still not gonna have the same ammount of dps and armor as a buffertanked abaddon, mega or geddon.
2. Does the balancing team actually take into consideration when you have looked at the tempest that it has the shortest optimal range and worst tanks and lowest dps?
if its ment to fight in falloff, do you take into consideration how much dps is lost due to how falloff work?
3. Could we please get a dev to post some stats on the battleships showing the setups and dps you use when looking at them from a balancing point, cause im very sure that a lot of the players have been puzzled by what ccp consider overpowerd/underpowerd
4. if the tempest is as fine as you say, can you please post some stats comparing it to some of the other battleships, at lets say 10km and 20km range using either close range ammo or barrage/null etc. atm i just cant see how you feel that the tempest or autocannons on the tempest is at least a bit underpowerd compared to the other ships

As it stands right now a single hulk pilot earns less money then a dude ratting in 0.0 per hr. (about 30 mill per hr for the miner and up to 50 - 60 for the ratter)

There is so much speculation about it on the forums, by example something a write down half a year ago that your agent offering the implants to you when someone reached a goal of 1.5 miljon LP.
Other story's are that they have never been added in the EVE system but already where designed.

- Will we ever see Republic Fleet Webifiers?
- Are there plans to increase the damage of faction turrets beyond max skilled tech 2 versions, similar to missile launchers?
- When LP stores were introduced, community feedback came up with pirate rigs with inbetween t1/t2 bonus for less calibration/drawback. It raised blue bars I think, but nothing was ever heard of it again. Discarded?
- While we're at it, any plans to add some modules to pirate LP stores? The limitations to commander lootdrops are understandable, but make them a bit lacking.
- 0.0 level 5 missions? Pretty please? |

Are you getting a heavy amount of overtime pay for spending your weekend answering these questions?
ambulation, tbh i dont really see why you feel that spending a great deal of time working on something that is station based is a good idea. i see eve as a blow stuff up in space based game, although ambulation may be a nice gimic, surely time would be better spend else where? |

May I ask if there is a plan for introducing t2 (or any tech for that matter) drone modules?
These are the only modules I am aware that do not have a t2 variant or a named one.
Also concerning the Ishtar after the speed changes, there is a serious issue considering the CPU of the ship and fittings. Especially fitting drone rigs is a big problem. Are there any thoughts about this issue?
This assuming of course armour tank (the problem exists now as well). ------- Nobody can be exactly like me. Even I have trouble doing it. |

do you agree that having high sec routes between the 4 empires is unrealistic, and a way to encourage low sec use is to have between all the empires a border region of low sec sytems. e.g. to go from Caldari to Gallente space you would have to traverse through at least 2 low sec sytems one patrolled by Caldari NPC forces and one Gallente.
new players would then stay in their own races space until capable of travelling reasonably safely through low sec.
