What a waste, why not make them PVP fitted and go out in a blaze of glory at least? I can give you a lot of advice on how you can do this without dying terribly if you want it

Edited by: Curzon Dax on 20/12/2009 14:20:46 Yes, still leaving Eve. Yes, payout is still in order.
I haven't been online lately because there's a bitter fight with CCP over billing issues; I haven't paid for Eve in a long time because of time cards, and Eve used to get paid for with an account that's not active anymore, and CCP auto-charged / renewed a defunct account without authorization, leading to overdraft charges on a bank account that was closed, and the charges can't be disputed because the account is closed (although it apparently wasn't at the time) and I never found out about it for ages because I stopped using that bank....no one called / e-mailed / nothing.
Then I got a letter in the mail that I'd been sent to collectors for this ridiculous sum of over-drawn / drafted fees attached to an attempted $14.99 subscription charge, and CCP's responses are form letter "Sorry, not our fault can't do anything to help"
Seriously getting irritated. Account is active right now, which is saying a lot, but this passed the point of ridiculous two weeks ago. -------------------------------------------------- Eve-Online Parodies: Music To Laugh To |

jesus christ, had a bank do that to me once, the halifax, but i explained what happened and they went 'oh, ok...yes we can see this now *writes off charges*. I was expecting them to ask me for a pint of my blood or something. Tried explaining it to the bank? if the account was closed, i'm pretty sure you can't be liable for charges on it?
eitherway ccp look very much in the legal wrong here, good luck! :)

You've got loads of shiny stuff that you're not using that's worth 150-200 bil. You want other people to give you 50 bil to pimp a Golem and a Paladin for... somthing, we have no idea what. In 6 months to a year, Entity gets hold of your char, buys all the items (effectively from himself) and gives the proceeds to investors.
You won't sell your own stuff to raise the cash to do this despite the fact that there is no reason not to do so. You don't say what the ships are for. You say your stuff will not get blown up. This is Eve, unless you're just going to look at it in a hanger then there is always a chance.
Clearly the only reason people would invest in this is your rep (and entity's) and the amazing returns on offer. Only trouble is, it makes absolutely no fricking sense. Massive returns promised + a 'plan' that makes no sense = warning flags.
For what it's worth, I really don't believe you're aiming to scam or anything. Best of luck to investors I guess.
you are too dumb for words, but i will give it a try.
Such a statement says more in my books about you then ambo.
Allthough i don't feel this is a scam purely going on someones 'rep' ingame has proved a wrong discission in the past or is your memory faiding that fast?
There does not allways have to be a 'reason' to do something and obviously the OP just wants to go out with a blast.Be it a 50 bille scam or a super IPO time will tell.
Who is too dumb for words now.

Edited by: Spectre Wraith on 26/12/2009 05:41:18 Myra, read a few more words over, you know, the one that says expendible. Trust me, I lost very little on this. I took a (small) chance, I also wrote the amount off expecting nothing in return. I got the hint at what this was months ago after a convo he and I had.
Sometimes you have to take a chance at things, this was unique and interesting.
Edit - I am giggling at all the people posting to "ask" for money from him.

Indeed, it was 374,405,000,000. It happened in three phases.
Phase 1: I solicited 50 billion ISK to fund a Paladin and a Golem. I actually got all those funds incredibly quickly; in a couple of days.
Phase 2: A couple of folks had been asking for their ISK back because they needed them for time cards, and it gave me the idea that I could create a gap in my fund from people needing ISK back. I got a lot more ISK from people who thought that they were shoring up the missing gap in 50 billion ISK, but were in actuality contributing to its growth.
Phase 3: When this petered out, and I was starting to feel guilty / paranoid about people asking for refunds...and worried that someone might make a damning post (like adding up number of investors who posted, let alone those who didn't), I cut it off. From here, I started approaching people individually; asking them to privately fund 20 billion ISK to cover the cost of a third Estamel's Modified Invulnerability Field in exchange for my Meta14-fitted Golem when I left Eve. I moved the date of payment up to Christmas (yesterday), to provide incentive and let greed do its work.
I got 15-20 billion ISK each from a *lot* of people who thought that they were going to get a Meta14 fit Paladin, or Golem, or Vindicator for Christmas.
