I am not an alt newly created, your post was slanted to attack Aaron, and then you act all hurt. Your personal attacks are not wanted. Advice is accepted.

Well you are of course entitled to your oppinion however biased it is, of course the most logical response to this would be to say you are Aarons alt but I don't have the inclination to explain to you how this is irrelevant, who I am in no way makes what I said any different, or any less relevant.
I am also not "getting at anything" I do not know Aaron beyond his posts here, I do not like nor dislike him, I happen to think his idea is good and hoped simply to help him with it. You have made it clear my help or presence is clearly not wanted however, so I will leave you alone.
Good luck.
Edited for spelling and clarification.

Nor am I an alt, although I am newly created.
I do not see where I "attacked" anyone but please feel free to enlighten me.
I am also not acting nor feeling "all hurt" it seems that you do not fully understand any of my posts. |

Edited by: Agent Unknown on 17/09/2010 16:48:18 It seems to me that Aaron is trying to attract people to Stain and operated like CVA did (only without the RP side).
Think about the concept of NRDS for a second. If a corporation or alliance that has never been seen by you before starts shooting your pilots, they could in no way defend themselves until after the engagement has started. The neutral parties have the advantage of "scoping out" their potential targets without being seen. In 0.0, the concept of feeling "safe" or being able to defend yourself from unknown entities is important. This is why most alliances adopt the NBSI policy. If they haven't come forward and said "hey, I don't want to shoot you" then assume they will do everything they can to destroy your assets.
Aaron's plans to adopt the NRDS idea is not new, but certainly is full of holes. I've long since forgotten the initial conflicts between us, and now I simply shoot because they're not friendly to me.
This whole threadnaught of bashing ideals is not what should come from this. This is not a thread about the drama that occurred because it occurs between alliances on a daily basis. People have been hostile to each other for far more and far less.
Again, I speak for myself and not on behalf of my alliance (which is why I don't post with him).
Edit: I suck at grammar. I forgot to mention that you are in fact reading something that is called a signature. |

Also as far as i can tell Tornado Bait has got it correct:)

Could I politley ask that we take future convos into a private convo? Thanks.

Your points are valid in principle but don't really come into play given the specific situation in Stain.
Basically every (NBSI) alliance that has corporations in Stain (and has no positive diplomatic relations with EA) is set to red by everyone affiliated with the Hub Zero/Garden project.
There are extremely few hostile pilots that happen to pass through the systems we operate in who are not already red. Take Providence for example where you often had roaming gangs of hostiles during prime time and compare to Stain - Providence could be easily entered through Derelik whereas to roam in Stain you have first to come through Delve or Catch (and if you are blue to IT or -A- you are most likely already red to us).
There simply are not many hostile non-reds around despite having a relatively short red list.
The only point at which there exists a practical difference between NRDS and NBSI is the treatment of newcomers to the project (or other "lone wolf"-type pilots) - they don't have to join any corporations/alliances or talk to Aaron about standings before coming here because they know we won't shoot a lone pilot in his Drake.
(also EA does not operate NRDS in a strict sense but "no threat, don't shoot" NTDS)

after spending 5 hours bubbling these little "munchkins go camping" school children they now seem to have packed up and moved a few doors down to the worst system in the pocket.
You can politely ask for private convos but since moving your little bunch of cloak fitted gimps down here without so much as attempting to have a "private" convo with any of us, I think we would rather just shoot you in the face.
DMNA holds the pocket along with brick, and before that those of us from TSDS and the short bus squad have held it for many years... dont think your just going to waltz in like happy little campers.

It's amazing that you would try and start up an NRDS coalition in a section of space owned by a much larger organization that clearly would love nothing better to do than to kill all of you.
Have fun trying to protect the carbears b.b.k. cuz normally the people you get who want NRDS space don't fight to hold onto it.

Because you've been posting your **** on the forums for a year (And we all know how Aaron loves to respond. )
But anyway, the point of my previous post was quite simply, let him build his Garden however he sees fit. His current method of governance hasn't caused any issues since this thread was started, so something must be working.

AARON ive been following these threads this one and the previous one . One thing I really think could help you accomplish your goals [please pardon the screaming] STOP RESPONDING TO NEGATIVE REPLIES. PERIOD I for one would like to see this little endeavor succeed, but if you cant even do what you have said you would do in several posts how can I believe what you say. just ignore those you know are against you, that goes for anyone else in this thread that would like to try out 00 space. just ignore the evil negative people they will get bored and leave, if theres one thing I have learned in my over half century of living is that idiots and morons cant stand to be ignored. JUST DO IT. God bless you all [even the evil people.] <-----you know who you are

Aaron, now is the time to stop. Your megalomania and delusions of grandeur have got you nowhere, except being backed into a crappy little pocket of a pretty poor part of space.
Your ideas at becoming the ringmaster of a little huddling of carebears imported from highsec were initially cute, but really, no one likes to be told what to do. They especially don't like making the bastard 30 jump trip (or whatever it was, I can't remember), only to find that the only crap on the market was ****ty T1 stuff at vastly inflated prices that you yourself had put up there.
So now what do you have? You basically look like a bit of a **** for bringing your little troop of nooblets and Dracvlad into a section of space where they clearly can't operate except to spin their ships, let alone thrive and prosper.
Everyone's laughing at you now.
It's time to pack it in, call it a day.
PS. I hope if I come down again one day and have a fancy for buying millions of missiles, you won't start to blubber and weep into your manchild-sized portion of Weetabix.

sorry i need to take off the cat ears for this lol...
Aaron has had his share of detractors, but it means little to be honest. I have had a bit of stick over the past couple of years myself, did I stop? No. Why? Because actually a larger number of people have fun with it than the few vocal folk that protest for whatever reason.
I regard Aaron as the leader in this situation, because well, he is the leader by definition. We have plenty of good folk here, and we should not let outside influences detract from our goals. Lots of people are being negative in this thread, and it need not be so.
Aaron is the coordinator for this project, and I hope I'm helping him the best I can. He stands for most of the issues that I've stood for, and that's why I support him and I guess why he wanted to attract my attention in the first place. I'm not concerned too much with politics. I want to be nice, and be nice to though.
It is very easy to spread bad words about somebody, but the kind words don't seem to have the same velocity. This thread has attracted some negative opinions, but as is the case with real-world news, how often do you hear the good stuff? Mainly we hear about terrible things, and that is what the populace is interested in mostly.
Here is a case of near altruism, the Garden project is encouraging chaps and chappettes to make the break and join us in 0.0. And we're the bad guys? It's the situation where people complain about it being rainy sometimes, but never really appreciate the sunny days.
I'm here, Aaron is here, Dracvlad is here. We're all very friendly and approchable people, so I don't think that the 'problem' if there is one lies with us. I would like to believe that we treat others as we wish to be treated.
Come to Stain, it's fun

Sounds like a very promising project to me. I'm currently establishing my entrepreneurial and privateering dominance within the nullsec region known as Curse. I plan on being the most powerful week old char within the region in the days to come (I know a feat many of you envy - lol). However after having a brief chat with Cat o'Ninetails, a trip to the Stain region has been added to my agenda. While I claim Curse as my current base of operation, logistics and simple common sense deem that allies within surrounding regions are always beneficial. I hope that you and your mates look forward to the revelries of this Drifter and that it will add quite a tale to my growing collection of memoirs.

Hisec guys dont worry too much I'm pretty sure 0.0 population will work out ok.
Theres so much to tell you and the garden forums are gonna be buzzing with lots of interesting posts. I can tell you this is building up to be one of the coolest things to happen in eve. I feel a bit silly getting up at this hour just to type this to you so im gonna head off back to bed. o/
