it's hardly been that long yet, try to be patient... if they take like a day or something then I think it's legitimate to start calling for free sp, but not when they're just running a few hours late |

well i forgot about the patch for a start and was therefore really grrr(d) when i couldnt log in on my frequent "popping home on way back to yard" trip.
however now i see theres as much trouble with this patch as the last one so i thought id put a little input in the thread of lols/hate/tears and grrr (s).
guys i feel your pain as i have to sit through hollyoaks now and maybe britains got talent while spamming refresh to see whats new

Your OS drive is, by default, selected as the drive on which temporary files are written. As it's full you have no disk space. Change your temporary file setting to the 2.5 TB A: drive for the purpose of D/L and unpacking the patch. |

It was last summer, but that downtime was extended well over 12 hours iirc. |

again new patch and again late, and extend downtime, and extend of extend of downtime... then will be a month of extended down times... fast closings of server and caos... we pay in religious way... ccp coud try test and upload the patches when they really know than it works and not doing this crap |

That's assuming hey CAN get a faster internet connection. Not everyone can get high speed, even in this day and age. Just 100 miles outside of NYC, there are places where it's low speed dsl only (like 768k), and that's IF YOUR LUCKY and aren't hanging off an RT (remote terminal- ie: channel bank muxing out a TDM line in box on pole). No cable tv, so no cable internet. |

A "Good" UI would be one that had hooks that could be used by 3rd party types to "MOD" the UI as we see fit.
I can imagine all sorts of HUD variations that would appear....

Downtime for deployment of Incursion 1.6 has been extended to 19:00 UTC due to issues we have discovered with starbases. We are currently reviewing the fixes before opening Tranquility to the players. Thank you for your continued patience.

The server will be up for a short while before they find an urgent problem leads to a cluster restart, then CCP will have another DT timeline to troll with. |

I am usually quiet patient when it comes to patching as I am working in IT and know how things tend to bite you in the arse in the last minute. And I am not going to ***** about how CCP should have planned or foreseen this, its just the nature of IT anno 2011.
But as a paying customer I think it would be fair if CCPdid compensate their customers in some way, after all we are in a customer supplier relationship with them and that is the general praxis in most businessrelationships. If the supplier don't deliver to their promise to their customer, then the customer is entiltled to a little something extra.
I believe lots of you would say that some extra SP would go a long way for CCP to regain some of that lost customer satisfaction, because right now my csat report on CCP doesn't look all that positive.

This. Only last week I have been able to go to 10mb from 0.8 due to the island i live on putting in new cables. I feel absolutely spoilt now after having 100kb/s downloads. |
